Extremely profession with decades of expert advice and repair on major performers instruments of Dallas and Fort Worth Symphonies.Surprisingly they are reasonably priced. Very fair and ethical.In their reviews it is hard to find anything less than 5 stars. As a professional, I cannot recommend them enough.

Had my viola restrung and bow rehaired. Took a day and was done perfectly. Rozie also let me know what other work my poor viola will need in the future. Super friendly and cute shop. Id go back for any of my viola needs if I hadnt moved out to Fort Worth

THE BEST music store for beginner to advanced players. I started renting my cello 6 years ago from Caraway strings. Their incredibly prices allowed me to rent it for 3 years, and also gives a generous amount towards the rent-to-own total (allowing me to purchase the cello with a small downpayment left). I spent a few hours in their (amazing, temperature-safe, locked) showroom trying out various cellos, but decided to actually stick with my rental instrument since I loved its tone so much. Now, as a more advanced player, Ive made it up to Texas All-State (three times!) with my rental cello, which was a fraction of the cost that my peers had spent on theirs. Rosanne also does an INCREDIBLE job with any repairs, adjustments, and string changes... I had a crack in the back of my cello and deep scars on the C bouts (totally my fault), but had everything fixed at such a low cost. I 100% trust Caraway strings with my instrument, and would recommend every string player to visit their store for more info :)

The people here are really into string instruments. Enthusiastic bunch who do good work. Not too pricey either. I got my bow re-haired, bridge shaved, and sound post adjusted before heading off to college, and my violin is sounding real nice now.

We had a great experience here. They were busy so I thought it might be awhile but they got us in and out quick. Helpful and friendly too! We’ll definitely be back here when my son outgrows his instrument 🎻

This a wonderful violin shop. They do really high quality repairs and have large assortment of violin, viola and cellos for sale. They are super friendly and helpful

Im new to the area, so didnt have any great recommendations for places in Dallas. I went in to get my violin bow repaired, and she was able to help we right away - and the location is very accessible (not way out in Plano!!). GREAT prices on minor repairs too.Definitely would recommend/will visit in the future. Great find!

Just had very affordable adjustments done on my cello, and bought an improved bow at a reasonable price as well. My 13-year old daughter has improved on violin dramatically with the teacher whos working out of Caraway as well. Terrific place. Guidance and expertise without pretension.

We love Caraways. They have been so good to our son during his years in orchestra from Springridge thru Liberty. We could not have found nicer people to deal with as he grew out of his violins looking for larger ones. Headed there today for another upgrade for Berkner this fall.
