Hands down the best experience I’ve had bringing my car in anywhere. I always procrastinate bringing my car in places because its hard to squeeze spending a half day waiting around in your schedule while dealing with grumpy mechanics and wondering if your being upsold. I just moved to the area and needed an oil change and probably breaks and tires. So after looking a few up on google I decided to give them a call after reading great reviews. From the person answering the phone to walking in the door - every person I dealt with was friendly, professional and laid back.Even as a walk in and a waiting room of people they got my car back right way. My service tech Anthony was amazing. He was very nice, knowledgeable and came out multiple times to keep me in the loop. I’ve honestly never had a car technician be so happy and enjoyable to deal with. I had my oil changed and could have had my tires changed right then to but I wanted to price shop first. Anthony got me price quotes and options and there was no pressure to get them there just provided information which was refreshing. All in I was in and out in maybe 30min which included going over everything else apart from my oil change.I’m the past I’ve just went to wherever was most convenient when it came time to take my car in but after my experience I will definitely be coming here from here out. I just had my 2010 Nissan Rogue inspected at Grease Monkey and could not be happier. You never know what can be found on a vehicle this old but all was well and I only needed to replace a light bulb. The staff was very friendly very courteous very professional and I would highly recommend them to anyone. They said it would be about a 2 hour wait as I was a last minute drive-in and wait customer but they had me in-and-out in 1- 1/2 hours. I will definitely go back to them. Thanks Guys!!

I went to Grease Monkey for an oil change and inspection. They were able to have my car worked on within 15 minutes as a walk in. I had an issue with my horn assembly that required a part to be shipped in. They were able to have the part delivered and installed in the same day. I waited on site for the whole time which ended up being around 2-3 hours while they ran a diagnostic and waited for the part. James and the rest of the crew kept me informed and were very sincere in taking care of my issue. I will be returning for my vehicle needs in the future.

I recently moved to the area and needed a state inspection and decided to go to this location from the great reviews. Though the wait was longer than anticipated, the staff were very professional and polite. I learned that my serpentine belt was cracking but they weren’t pushy about getting it done there any time soon. I decided to go back a couple days after to replace the belt just for my own safety and the staff took me in same day and had my car ready within an hour. There is also a nice waiting area and the staff is very communicative. I will be going to this Grease Monkey location for all of my car services and would recommend to others!

Brought my Rav4 in prior to going on a road trip from Virginia to Colorado to replace the front struts. Noticed it felt weird in the front end about halfway to Colorado. On the way back to Virginia, I kept experiencing loud noise coming from the front end, seemed to be coming from both wheel wells and could feel it through the steering wheel. Brought it to a friends shop as soon as I got home to see what was wrong and he said that none of the bolts on the struts were tightened down. Basically drove almost 5000 miles with loose struts. Now my 2 front tires are oddly worn and will need replacing soon. The only thing Charlie, the manager offered, was a discount on 2 new front tires. So basically would have to spend even MORE money with them...horrible customer service. Still cant believe I drove that far with loose struts. Theres no telling what else has potentially been damaged due to their negligence. NEVER going back there and I definitely dont recommend wasting your time and money while also risking your safety!

The Men are always super positive and very informative. I have an interlock installed on my car, and where most companies huff & puff about working with my vehicle, these men smiled and adapted with no problem. Will return and continue being a loyal customer! 5 STAR RECOMMEND!

Every year I take my car to this Grease Monkey for inspection. Unlike the dealership that tried to find something wrong with my car (relatively new with less than 30k miles) to inflate charges, GM is honest, efficient, and has professionally licensed mechanics. The waiting area is clean and customer service is superb. I intend to take my car there for maintenance.

I needed a state inspection & was in line 15 minutes before Grease Monkey opened. At 8AM my vehicle went into the bay and at 8:19 the inspection was done -- and it passed! Everyone was friendly & professional. Ive taken my vehicles here for many years & will keep doing so.

I brought my in laws car over for a state inspection today (5/19/21) as it was that time. First off let me just say they were busy but moving along at a great pace, however the young man who was performing the state inspections was fantastic! I was concerned I needed front brakes and had informed the man who checked me in to please check them as I was going on a trip, this however concerned me, because as I stood outside waiting I heard the man who greeted me tell the mechanic inside this car needs brake customer says there extremely low, so youll get a brake job and whatever else it fails for Ive already priced it out. This was proceeded by a short team pep talk informing all the mechanics on duty that, The shop wasnt making enough money today, and we need to get those up sales up and grow our ticket numbers probably not something the customer should hear. Personally I felt a little frustrated/concerned as I had only asked they be checked for safety and had not said that I needed them, also it seemed fairly rude to assume my vehicle had already failed as it was just being pulled in. Naturally at this point I was already prepared for the whole my mechanic found..., well if you want to pass your state inspection today you need to replace...... excuses because, the advisor had misinformed the mechanic in an effort to make money and as he said get those up sales up. However upon watching the inspector he took the time to look over my whole car, checked everything even pulled my tires to check the brakes he went through my entire vehicle in what I felt like was an extremely thorough procedure, all this while also helping other mechanics with services and an oil change. At this point Mr. Advisor came out and informed me that the vehicle passed and that the mechanic had a few recommendations for some repairs, but that he had checked the brakes and they were over 75% life left and were in no need of replacement at this time, and that my in laws would be more than safe for the trip. I was highly impressed the inspector had a chance to dupe me especially after what he was told but instead chose to conduct himself with honesty, integrity and pride in his profession and his workplace. This speaks volumes to the character/caliber of employees this establishment employees. That young man did his job and in my opinion exceeded all of my expectations and he did so at a time the situation was beginning to appear quite grim. I would just like to personally thank this young man (the employees dont have name tags so I dont know his name) for his hard work and honesty!!! So long as that mechanic is there grease monkey will have a lifetime customer with me and I highly recommend anybody to this location with great confidence. I was there for over an hour (as I stated they were very busy) and almost everybody there was working hard, but Mr. Inspector in particular gets an A+++ because he was absolutely top notch. Thank you for the great service you provided me today and for showing that there are still honest mechanics in this world and one of them is at this grease monkey!

I have been going to Grease Monkey for a while, since they opened this location on Staples Mill. The location is convenient for me, and most importantly I am happy with the service I receive there every visit. My last visit was no exception. I was greeted right away as I pulled into the space just outside the garages. I quickly described what I needed for my vehicle, a state inspection and tire rotation. I was told wait time would be about 1.5 hours, but it was actually done within 45 minutes. Had to get brake pads replaced to pass inspection, and they were nice enough to remove the fee for tire rotation to reduce the bill. Nice little place with waiting areas inside and outside, decent k-cup coffee machine, with snacks somewhere around, though I never tried. Will definitely comeback.

Let me start this review by adding credibility. Ive been going to this location for nearly 4 years now for my basic car repair needs. I go for convenience. Today was the last time I will be giving my business to this group of shysters. Upon arriving for a basic oil change, there was an employee who came out and said that a filter will be arriving soon, etc etc. Never once mentioned the fact that this would change the price significantly. The characters that work here are incredible at telling half truths and going around a problem. My oil change doubled from my last visit because I got a new vehicle and the salesman legit did his best to convince me that my new Kia was a luxury car. I couldnt believe what I was hearing. I even asked him to search up my old car to support my argument and I laughed out loud when he said he couldnt find it in the system... Even though I was just there for my last oil change. Ive been in sales for 8 years -- That was a red flag that went off for me because it didnt make sense how a car just disappears out of their database that was just there a few months back. Needless to say, they charged me $100 for an oil change for a 1.5L Kia that is 150% definitely not a luxury car. I get the same oil that my last car had. The exact same, but this oil change went up by 50% because they saw it as an opportunity to sell me and use the new car justification to support their claims. These clowns should be out of business.

I needed a new bulb in my headlight, I stopped in first thing on a Saturday morning and was seen right away. The technician fixed my light right there in the parking lot. You have to take the whole assembly off to change it and he was friendly and quick. They also checked my regular and high beams before I paid and left. I also felt the price was very fair. If theyre back to doing state inspections by the time I need mine Ill give them a try!

Ive been a customer at this location for a few years and theres always been quality customer service, as everyone goes the extra mile to be accommodating and caring. However, yesterday I arrived for regular oil change and as I pulled in noticed that my low tire pressure light had just appeared. Upon further investigation, Jermaine found a HUGE, HORRIBLY UNSAFE issue with one of my tires. Jermaine then showed me the tire, gave me options to repair it, and even offered to change it for me. I thanked him and vowed to get it repaired/replaced. Upon my exit yesterday, ALL of the staff were overly caring and wished me well. To top off such a beautiful experience, I received a follow up call from Jermaine TODAY to be sure that I was safe and that the issue had been resolved. I AM SOOOOO THANKFUL for him and for all of the technicians at the Staples Mill Grease Monkey.

Excellent service and very quick. I went in for an oil change and to check my battery. They were extremely professional and didnt try to over charge me or find faults that werent there. I was in and out in under an hour and the staff was extremely courteous. Clean waiting room with free coffee and water. Would definitely go back and recommend to others

Update to the first review. Spoke with Charlie he was awesome very detailed in letting me know what could be the issue and ways it could be fixed. Despite my first review I should have giving them a chance to fix the problem before going green eggs and ham..lol All in all I appreciated the follow up to the first review. Got to the shop took my car changed my oli checked everything out made sure my car is in good condition got me in and out with in 30 minutes I always have good experience in this location

They are under phenomenal new leadership and got me in for an oil change right when I pulled up and had me out in under 30 minutes. They were able to inspect my girlfriends car that day too. Excellent service and super fast ! My only complaint would be that the price of just a regular conventional oil change is $43 which is pretty high. Other than the price, this place is perfect. It’s a great place to go if you need something done quickly. They are first come, first serve. No appointments.

I’ve been a loyal customer of grease monkey for 5+years now. Most of the same guys still work there. They always take care of me. I’m pretty sure the guy who I always talk to is Jeremiah. If that’s his name he has amazing customer service. The other guy there too unfortunately I forgot his name but he helped me on Monday and it was a great experience.

I was very happy with everything. I had oil change and also battery installed. I recently had the battery tested and it had gone bad . I made a decision to have Grease Monkey put a new battery in. I checked a few places doing price comparison and Im very happy with the pricing at Grease Monkey on the battery and other stuff I had done. I brought in new windshield wipers and they put them on for free. very happy with the service and workmanship and certainly plan to return.

I went for an oil change and found out I needed new brakes (I suspected) anda new tire. They were quick, professional and gave me a birthday discount. It was a nice surprise. This is why I always come here. Good people and work!

Wife went in for basic oil change and specified the $39.99 one. When it came ready to pay, turned out they used a better oil which came to over $71. They said they miss understood her. Best the could do was a $10 discount. Giving 2 stars because at least the were quick.

Yesterday, I went there with an air conditioning issue and for some routine maintenance on my 2005 Subaru Legacy. The mechanic diagnosed the problem and fixed it quickly. The longest part of my wait was the time that it took for the needed part to arrive. The staff is friendly and approachable.

Awesome customer service!When I had my oil changedI had reclined a cabin filter they said I needed. When I left my heater was making loud noises that was not making when I brought it in. Brandon at Grease Monkey called me and told me to bring my car back in and they would fix the noise. I was very pleased with the service there. I was there for a oil change. My car kept trying to cut off right after the oil change. The mechanics worked quickly to find out why. A coil went bad and they replaced it. They worked very efficiently and kept me informed. I was very pleased before as well when they did a state inspection.

The guys were nice, did a free estimate for work to be done. They were quick and helpful. I wish their website was more detailed because I had no clue the amount of work they do with the perks.

I arrived before someone and he pulled in ahead of me. No big deal, just a slightly longer wait. But instead the person working there saw that I was there first and let me go first and that saved me an hour! I wish I got his name because he was prompt, polite, and kind. Not just to me, but to the 10+ people I saw being taken care of while I waited. I went for an inspection but I will go there for anything I ever need. I usually go to Jiffy Lube but last week I was there for 3 hours (and after closing time) and I overheard someone saying they forgot I was there. I will never go any place but Grease Monkey. My inspection was overdue and I needed new head lights and they took care of it in less than 40 minutes which is how long they said it would be. I was the first one there so I think that helped. Regardless, I can’t praise Grease Monkey enough!

The most coffee shop atmosphere youll find at a car shop. Free coffee (keurig) and water, and I even found a phone charger. Price is good for the quick service. In and out in about a half hour last time. Highly recommended.

If there were 0 stars - itd be a big fat 0! Ive dealt w/Grease Monkey for years - which ends today unfortunately! I got in line for inspection before they opened for business and was # 3 in line - since last year they said they only do 8 per day and its 1st come/1st serve... an hour later Im still waiting - after they took several others ahead of me, for oil changes, etc. - I had to get my car inspected @ Jenkins on route 1. They took me straight in/passed inspection/and out in no time!

Everyone was so polite and professional from the moment I pulled in, to the second I left. Great job fixing my problem with reasonable pricing. I will be going back!

Yes, you called yourself fixing the brake light, by fixing the brake line....But my light is still on. You all have displayed terrible customer service, but thats what I would expect after the owner Champ Granger hung up in my face after calling her to explain the problem. Very (Unprofessional). I advise anyone who needs something done to your car, dont go to Grease Monkey on Staples Mills. The Manager does not believe in customer service, and Champ Granger (owner), is more than willing to lie.Went to this location about 3 wks., and a couple of days ago to get my brake light taken care of. They told me the problem was a brake line, and they replaced the brake line. Recommended to the specialist Glen. He told me to bring it back if the problem continues. Problem continued, and I dont want the under the hood guessing. Now just want a refund. Got in touch with the owner Champ Granger, and he attitude was the worse Ive ever experienced. She pretty much told me they fixed a problem, not the problem, and I cant get a refund. The worse. If I could give 0 stars I would. Dont take your car there to allow them to guess on it.....
