We recently had our home office window converted into a sliding patio door, and AAPCO did an outstanding job! Sean came out and met with my wife and I to discuss our vision. After going over the plans and options for the new sliding door, we knew right away that AAPCO wouldnt have any problems tackling this project. We promptly drew up an agreement after discussing costs. I had already met with a few other companies prior to AAPCO, and none of them matched AAPCOs price, quality of material, or the warranty. A couple of days later I was contacted by John who came out to take measurements to order the door and materials. While the door was being manufactured, AAPCO took care of pulling all necessary permits for the construction, which provided a little peace of mind. Once the door arrived, AAPCO quickly contacted me to schedule the two day installation.Since this install required cutting out a new opening in the side of the house, some minor electrical work would be needed to convert the existing interior electric outlet to an outdoor outlet and to drop new lines for two patio lights and a switch. I had already hired an electrician for the work, and passed the information to John who went out of his way to coordinate the electrical work while the door was being installed. On the day of installation John and another employee (sorry forgot name) arrived on time and quickly began work. I was really surprised that in just 6 hours they had mange to cut out the new opening (saving my existing window for a spare), added new support/framing for the door, and installed the sliding patio door so we would be protected from a cold January night. The next morning, work began as scheduled and when my electrician arrived to perform his work there werent any hiccups at all, very professional as if these guys have been working together their whole life. It really made this experience very pleasant without any worries or regrets.AAPCO really did an amazing job! My wife and I couldnt be more happier with the whole process. More importantly our 2 year old Lab is obsessed with the new door because he can see all the birds and squirrels now.... lol
So thankful to have chosen this company for our projects. Jim, Mike, Brittany and Lauren along with the other staff were incredibly helpful, knowledgeable and a delight. They made the whole project run smoothly. This is how a business should operate! Thanks to each and everyone of you for your tireless efforts! :)
We needed new windows and doors throughout the house. From start to finish it was a great experience. We were nervous because we had read some bad customer service reviews. However, we got three estimates and for the price, the quality, and an outstanding warranty on the windows and doors we decided to go with AAPCO. We are very pleased with the installed products and the professionalism and attention to detail by the installers. I would recommend this company to my family and friends.
We have used AAPCO since 1994, to install window, siding, roof and doors and have been very happy with the quality of all of the products and professionalism with the installers. We just replaced all of our windows again.Thank you AAPCO
Had one of my bathrooms fully remodeled and brought into the current century. Process was pretty easy and not as pushy as other companies. They offered me a fair estimate and did the work in a quick and professional manner. Any outstanding issues I had were immediately addressed and taken care of. Would definitely recommend
We moved into a new condo with bathrooms in serious need of remodeling. We were so pleased with the Bath Planet remodel of our tub to shower conversion, we had them come back to remodel the soaker tub and glass shower combo. Installer Mel is the best! (Sorry I am not the best photographer but you get the point!)
We used them to replace several windows. Their quote was in the middle of the ones we got, and Mike was great helping us find the best windows for our home. They were on time for measuring and installation. They were professional and quick. We will definitely work with Mike to replace the rest of our windows.
Answered all of my questions. My installation was done in a very timely manner. The crew cleaned up after, leaving nothing behind but my new roof!
I dont normally give reviews but after dealing with some businesses that dont give quality work, and then finding one that goes above and beyond I have to give a shout out. Aapco installed some patio doors for me, and I am more than happy with their service. It wasnt an easy installation and they had to come back the next day to finish, but finish they did!!!! Their professionalism and quality of work is excellent and I am sooo happy with my new doors. :) I will be calling on them in future and recommending them to anyone who needs new patio doors...which I believe is everyone in my complex!!! :)
Just wanted to say job well done! Todd did an outstanding job working with us doing our windows in two phases. John and his crew did an excellent job with the install, professional and neat. Thank you! Highly recommended.
The salesman, Paul Atkinson, came out to our house in Chesterfield, Va to check out our garage door and frame that needed replacing. We set up the appointment at that time. When they arrived, we did hear them pull in but we wee busy doing something. Finally we remembered they were here and went out to look and they were gone. You can tell that this is a premium door for sure. All work completed like nothing was wrong to start with and they, also, cleaned up beautifully after themselves. They do a number of things and we will contact them again. Eddie and Mary Sparkman
AAPCO was one of the most reliable and efficient company I have done business with. The doors and windows are incredible and the work was professionally done. Would absolutely recommend them for any home improvement projects. Reach out to Mike Mannion for all of your renovation needs, he was very helpful and I highly recommend him!
Very happy with the new roof!! Professional and fast. Recommend highly to anyone needing repairs or a new roof. Good experience overall.
They quoted me $27000 for a 24 square roof. After saying that the price was way too high, a week later they offered me $20000 for architectural shingles and $16000 for the standard 3-tab shingles. I got multiple estimates and got architectural shingles for $11400. Bottom line, get a lot of estimates!
Replaced our screened in patio with glass walls. Very well done in a single day. Good craftsmanship. Enjoying the finished product
It was a job well done. I struggled with terrible insulation for years but with their green zone house seal I find that I no longer have problems with my house being too hot or too cold. Ive also saved money on my heating and cooling bills. Great job!
The rep REFUSED to schedule an appointment because my husband wasnt available to meet with them. HELLO 1950! Even though I explained my husband doesnt live here and wasnt a part of this decision, he refused to do business with me on my own. Guess the little ladies of the house arent smart or responsible enough to make a big scary decision on replacing a roof. How incredibly offensive!
Last year we did had our roof done by AAPCO. Mike Mannion our representative help us out with our roof which we are very happy with. We called Mike back out the end of 2020 about replacing our outdated metal windows. The works was just finished and we are very pleased with the results. I highly recommend this company. Call Mike Mannion for any of your home improvement needs.
I needed gutters installed and it was the best decision I made to use them for the installation. The sales representative was professional and worked around my schedule. The cost was right around my target range and the installation only took two hours and minutes because they had 8 people doing the work. I would recommend them for any of their work.
We have used them twice and love the work. The first was to install a gutter system to keep us from emptying them yearly. We have now had them reside the house and it looks great! They were respectful of property and listened to our concerns. We will have them do other jobs in the future!
Outstanding service, quality superseded Lowe’s and Home Depot without a huge price difference. Ask for Todd Parker great salesman always on time and cares about the customers.
AAPCO was very prompt and professional. They were very straight forward and enlightened me and my wife on the necessary materials needed for our upgrades and repairs. The quality of the products superseded our expectations and we will surely plan to utilize their services again! AAPCO is the way to GO!
I have had three projects attempted by AAPCO since 2016. AAPCO completed our siding, composite deck, and replaced a couple of doors. The three doors were all installed as one project (same day). I was happy with the siding job, never happy with at least one of the storm doors install, and satisfied with the composite deck until problems started to manifest. It took over a year to get the storm door to be functional, at best...and many trips for AAPCO to do so. It could be a manufacture problem or install problem with the deck. With the siding install, all adjustments and corrections were done in a timely manner. Fast forward to March 2021. Paul came out to provide a couple of estimates on some exterior work on my home. He seemed knowledgeable about the jobs, very helpful, patient and polite. I appreciated the fact that I did not feel pressured into my purchase decision, but felt that Paul took the time needed, listened and answered all of my questions. I initially did a positive review on goggle, but it was based off of the politeness of the sale experience with Paul. I signed the contract on the job then cancelled before the 72 hour as I started to recall my 3 door install and my composite deck. Then I started to recall how much I paid for these projects and my experience of how much I have had to work to get AAPCO to take care of a problem correctly...the stress, headache, etc.. Then I wondered, why I have even bothered to go back to this company for more projects??? Because of my first positive experience, I have wanted to trust AAPCO, but now carefully recalling past experiences it will be determined. I will have to wait to see how AAPCO resolves my issues, especially the huge problem with my deck and whether all will be done correctly, professionally and in a timely manner. Only then could I ever recommend this company to anyone. So for now, I will give a 3 star overall rating.
I scheduled an appointment with AAPCO to discuss and measure door services. I setup an appointment with Customer Service Representative Carol. I made the appointment for a Saturday, discussed it was a rental property, and discussed the exact door chosen from the AAPCO site that I wanted to purchase for installation. I drove 3 hours to the property and the company was a no-show. I called AAPCO to ask where they were and the customer service gentlemen stated my appointment was cancelled by management and stated they do not service rental properties due to their product prices. The representative said someone called me only to dispute that I was NOT notified of my appointment cancellation, I did NOT receive a call, I did not receive a voicemail, I did not receive an email. I thoroughly discussed my intent to buy in detail with Carol. Six hours of driving wasted by this company. I asked for a call-back from either management or the representative I spoke with on my initial appointment and I have not received any communication. This company is unreliable and their management is unorganized.
AAPCO did a fantastic job replacing a sliding glass door. The pricing was fair and the product was delivered exactly the way I needed it
I called Paul Adkinson and he met with us immediately. Our deck was in really bad shape and with the prices of wood going up we needed to act immediately to get a new deck built. He gave us a quote and we put a deposit down the same day and it was supposed to be done in 8 to 10 weeks and it was actually bumped up several weeks so we got it done earlier than expected. All the workers were very professional and hard-working. They actually found a major issue and were able to get that repaired and fixed the same day. We were very impressed with the company overall and have referred the name out to several people and I will continue. If you need anything done to your house you need to call Paul Adkinson to get things rolling. We will definitely be using them for our next project.
AAPCO has been around for over 50 years so you wont have to worry about them going out of business. They are highly qualified to do any job!
They put a new roof on my house and garage. The work was done quickly and neatly for 1/3 of the next lowest cost.
AAPCO installed 6 exterior doors for us. They were made by the manufacturer after our order and were installed promptly once received from the factory, One door had paint issues from day 1 (manufacturer issue) and AAPCP ordered and installed the replacement quickly. Soon after installation one of the doors failed to close properly, and AAPCO came out promptly to adjust it. I highly recommend them.
The sub contractor not our crew as I was told arrived early, greeted me and told me I will need to have a check ready upon completion. I could tell the crew would rather do the work than be a collection agent. (I have always been sent an invoice and pay it in a timely manner) I was told the gutters would be cleaned. They were blown out and all of the leaves and sticks were left laying in the flower beds, yard, walk, etc. The work on the gutter guards appears to be a job well done. So my complaint is about the professionalism of the AAPCO company. 1) dont tell a customer the gutters will be cleaned when theyre not; 2) dont tell the customer our crew will be doing the work when they are sub contractors; 3) dont make the sub contractors your collection agents; 4) clean up the mess you make when the job is completed; 5) live up to the motto on your sign we willingly put in our front yard to advertise your company; 6) dont have your office call me to collect the remaining amount owed before the job is completed. I have no complaint about the crews work. My complaint is about the professionalism of the company as found in one of the office workers acting surprised that I would make note of clean up the leaves from the roof.
I just had a conversation with Carol from AAPCO. She called for an appraisal appt set up w/me. She asked way too many questions. The last one was are you married? I said yes, but we are separated and he lives 700 miles from here. She said he has to be present for the appt, company policy. I said he would not be attending and my windows are not of his concern. I ended the conversation at that point.Ten minutes later I get a call back saying she talked to the GM and he said it is ok. I asked what is okay? She said I could have an appt with them. I replied with I will not do business with a Misogynistic and Sexist company and Thank-you and hanged up the phone. Jerks.
UPDATED REVIEWWould give zero stars if I could. We had a roof placed in 2017 and have had a leak for MONTHS now. The leak is so bad our ceiling in our bathroom is caving in and falling off piece by piece. We have had someone from this company come out to our house now each time to “fix” it and here we are again at 10pm with water pouring out through our ceiling. They even offered to fix the damage to the bathroom but after setting a date no one showed up to repair the wall damage. Will be taking legal action now as we have major damage to our house. After filing a claim through AAPCOs insurance for negligence they denied any fault and were not obligated to pay for anything since they HIRED SUBCONTRACTORS AND THEIR INSURANCE EXCLUDES THEM. We had to file a claim with our homeowners insurance. Total cost of damage was $13,000. We had to completely gut our mater bathroom and tear out half the ceiling and exterior wall in the bedroom due to water and mold damage. Beware, run, do not use this company.
We purchased Provias Deluxe Storm Door from AAPCO. Everything from beginning to end was stress free. The AAPHe covered CO rep arrived to our door right on time and explained all of our options, features and benefits in detail. Once we made our selection AAPCO ordered our door to be built. They kept us informed of progress, scheduled a delivery and installation date that would work for us. Our installer was prompt, professional and experienced plus personable. He explained how to raise, lower, remove and install the glass for cleaning or to let fresh air enter. He covered every detail along with warranty. Were happy that we chose AAPCO and would not hesitate to use them again. Highly recommend this company! The Van Eckoutes
This is a great company to work with. From the very beginning, I felt comfortable with the sales rep and later with the installers. The sales rep took his time showing and explaining the quality of their products. He worked with me keeping to my budget. The installers were great. They were polite and considerate and kept the area clean as they worked. The quality of their workmanship was outstanding. I would recommend AAPCO to anyone.
Five Star service in renovating our guest bathroom to include a gorgeous acrylic tile and tub. Easy to clean, love to use!! Would recommend to anyone looking for excellent craftsmanship, professionalism, and a pain free renovation process.
We had gone to a show and had several companies lined up to give us a sales pitch. AAPCO was the second sales rep to visit us and within 5 minutes of talking with the sales rep, we knew we would use AAPCO. His experience guided us to make the correct choice of color and materials for the job and he even had a video of the gutter guards that was on his house. The installers were very professional and their quality of work was very good. When we had an issue (only 1 minor one) the company was out the next day to fix it. I would recommend AAPCO to others.
The sales presentation was a little weak, however with several questions I was comfortable moving on and had researched the companys site and have been around long enough to know its position in the market place.I was impressed with the professional that came out to do the true measurements, he knew his business and actually made the order more simple one set french doors with an adjustable steel frame. The installer was a seasoned professional. He had some challenges with plumbing the door frame due to old house settlement, entailed moving the trim to address the issue, installed a quality threshold with proper caulking and did a good job reworking the interior frame. The quality of the door was to my exceptions and would purchase again from AAPCO. Additionally their pricing was very competitive for the quality of product.Vaughan Privett
I hired them to install a new front door with two sidelites. The salesman was friendly but all over the place and the craftsmanship for the door is mediocre at that. There are visible seams in the sidelites and they put the frosted glass in the wrong way on the front door and one of the sidelites. When calling the office the receptionist had no customer service experience and placed me on hold 3 times without telling me. Then I get transferred to another person and have to explain the scenario again. Now I have to wait another 2 weeks for the materials to arrive and then they will schedule the repair!! Would not recommend them for any work!! And I’m looking into legal action to expedite this process as they show no haste to fix their error.
I have use AAPCO twice. Once for a all weather room and the Seco D for Windows and doors. They did an excellent job both times. They were on time, took their time ensuring things were done correctly and clean up after the job was done. I highly recommend them.
Yesterday, they made an appointment to come to our home for a 10:00am meeting today regarding a new screened porch. At 10:19am, with no call and no show, I called the office to tell them if they dont show up on time for a sales appointment, I shudder to think what they do once a clients money is in hand. I told them to send their man home, not to come to our home.Their salesman still decided to show up, apologizing, and I sent him on his way, with the above message. He didnt leave, instead calling me from the driveway. It appeared he was getting instructions from his management to continue to try and engage us.I had to go out to his car and tell him he needed to go *now*.I dont do business with companies who send salespeople 90 miles (this guys words) to a potential client, who then tell me they will be fired if I send them away. If that is true, that he would be fired for missing one sales call, they arent worth working for.Unbelievable what one has to tolerate to get a screened porch built.
Had a great experience with this company. Got several quotes and decided to gpo with AAPCO. They were very professional and completed the job very quickly. Installed 33 new windows in my home and did it pretty much all from the outside. Dont waste your time looking around for a quality company. AAPCO is the way to go.
Dirty selling techniques... The sales rep came to my house today for a quote. After giving me an initial price, he started playing dirty by calling his “manager” to get me a better price, conditional to, 1. me not disclosing pricing information to my neighbors, and 2. signing immediately. I asked the sales rep to stop this game, but he kept pushing, giving me a much lower price (sounds like he didn’t need manager approval after all). No thank you.
Great customer care from the sales person to the people that came and installed our windows, great job . We got new windows for half of our house and will do the other half in the fall, I can’t wait, we love our windows . Thank you Appco for a job well done 💓
Our new roof was very efficiently and effectively applied. The service, especially the office support, was superior. My only negative was the abundance of nails found on the surrounding ground. Otherwise the whole experience was positive.
We had a a screen room built by AAPCO, and it was not a good experience. The actual screen room (modular system) is ok, but we had to have 2 decks with stairs built, and the salesman said the steps on one side would blend perfectly with our sidewalk. Well, that was NOT the case, and it was ugly. They finally came back and put a platform at the bottom so at least the sidewalk led to the stairs (they had left the first step 3-4 inches higher than the rest of the steps) and we could finally access it without stumbling.. Its not pretty. The decking material is cheap, with lots of knots, and we already have to replace several boards (less than 3 months since completion). The workmanship is shoddy--they used nails ANDscrews, and we will have to pry off the steps to fix them. The inspector failed it 5 times. We are so disappointed in this project--we usually do our own building, but we are older and with back issues, so we decided to contract it out. The salesman is good, and we were convinced that they would do a good job. We were wrong.
Very satisfied with company and product.
I contacted AAPCO to replace my windows. They were wonderful! Professional service all around - showed up on time, cleaned up after themselves, and worked very efficiently. Very pleased and the windows are providing significant savings on my energy bills!
We love our new 6’ sliding glass door. Working with AAPCO was a breeze. Jeff came in and from start to finish worked closely with us and our budget to get to the beautiful result. We will likely work with AAPCO again on a future project.
Great service and very efficient right from the beginning. Sales, service and contractors were great to work with. Highly recommend this company for their efficiency and time getting the job completed !
Thanks to AAPCO my quality of life is much better. They were all very professional and a great job in upgrading my shower. I would recommend all friends and family to use them. Thank you for what you did for me.
Steve Seay installed a new door for me. The work was awesome. He was here over six hours. I had a storm door that needed to be removed for new door. You can’t even tell there was a door ever there. I know when you hear the price you may think it’s expensive but believe me it’s worth every penny. I couldn’t be happier.
We used Bath Planet to renovate our master bath. Their management and workmanship were extraordinary: efficient, cooperative, proficient and courteous. We are totally satisfied with the end product and would highly recommend them to friends for similar-scope jobs. Theyre good!
Ive worked with AAPCO on two different occasions, both times went really well. The roof and all the other work they did look great and was done at a reasonable price. If you are looking to get any roof or siding work done, you should at least give them a call!
The men did a great job for me and i will be calling on AAPCO again for future work for my home. They replaced my front door and the jam it works great in fact its better now than the door was when the house was brand new so i will be having future work done by AAPCO
I had AAPCO install a new roof earlier this year and do some trim repairs and gutter work. It was probably the worst experience I have ever had with a company. When they installed the new roof, they re-installed 30 year old vent covers until I said something. When the roofing crew was removing the old roof they carelessly threw down the old shingles hitting the sides of our white vinyl siding and left black marks everywhere. When they first repaired the gutters, it looked as if a 10 year old had done the work, it took 3 tries to get it repaired right and they still didnt complete all the gutter work that was in the initial work contract. After several tries to clean the siding, the service manager asked if we had taken pictures of the siding before the work started as if we were lying and I guess he expects people to take pictures of their home before AAPCO works on it. I would think he would have a higher opinion of his company. He then offered me $200 and gutter guard on the back gutter, guess the front gutter didnt need it. They then wanted me to sign a letter of completion so they could get paid but hadnt even completed all the gutter work. Their vice president came out ( a very nice man) and apologized and worked up a new work order giving me a larger discount, gutter guard on the back ( I had to pay extra for the gutter guard on front of the house ) and a work order to finish the gutter work originally contracted for. I never heard from or saw the company again until I filed a complaint with the BBB. The VP called me to apologize and said he thought the work had been completed. Why he had any confidence that the work would be completed without following up with us is a mystery to me. He had workers come out immediately and complete the work. It took almost 3 months from start to finish and a lot of phone calls and stress to get the job finished.
Great experience. Sales rep knew the product and was flexible enough to meet with us again to close on things. The crew that did the roof install knew their work as well. We had a neighbor getting a roof done and the AAPCO crew was out working them by far. The clean up was done well also. We also found them to have the same product and substantially more competitively priced than several others. If youre getting multiple roof quotes, you should have them in your list.
Do not do business with these people. I reached out to them for a quote on a new roof. When they called the man on the other line asked how long me and my husband have owned the house to which I replied I have owned the house for five years. He apologized, honest mistake on his part. When Tom arrived at my house later that afternoon he was very awkward and I tried my best to make small talk. He complimented my deck in the backyard and I said thanks we just built that this summer. He then asked whos we? I said my fiance and he refused to go any further because he said my fiance is a decision maker in the household and its company policy that we both must be present. I explained that would be hard to do since I work retail and hes off on the weekends to which he said so evenings dont work, condescending. I asked him what does it matter if Im funding the protect and he said hed have to call his boss to get permission. As he was on the phone with his boss I told him I wasnt interested anymore and showed him the door.
Excellent work.! The owner was hands on. The company was responsive to inquiries and kept their word. Ready for them to do my doors.
This company ripped me off and lied. When questioned on it, they said the sales man must have misspoke. They also told me they did all the paperwork for me to get the power company to buy the power I make, but they didnt. I didnt find this out until 11 months after they installed it. Now I owe $40,000. and Im not even using the energy Im making. This company is horrible and I would NEVER do business with them again.Dont ever use this company.
AAPCO installed our new roof. Everything went very smoothly, from the sales presentation to completion. Office personnel were professional and easy to work with. There were a few flaws after our initial inspection, but they were addressed immediately. We are satisfied.
Great workmanship, great experience! Would definitely do business with again!
Spent months calling to get me to make a appointment, then woke me 2 days in a row (I work nights and they were told) to confirm appointment and then cancel the day before!!!! She said they dont have a rep in the area. ????????? Isnt that something that should have been worked out prior?? These folks are unprofessional at best. If they cant get a appointment straight, I would be careful about letting them work on your home.
Beware of their lengthy sales pitch. A sales guy was at our house for over 2 hours on a Saturday which I wasnt really a fan of, and wasnt necessary. Their prices were also very high. Im sure that is party reflected in their materials and workmanship, but we likely wont use them.
I had a very positive experience with my gutter installation. The gutters look great!
I was extremely pleased with the expediency that my roof was replaced. The workers arrived at the designated time and completed the job on time. They did an outstanding job cleaning up afterwards. I will contact AAPCO for future work.
Aapcos crew did a very good and quick installation of our roof. Cleanup was thorough. I appreciate Aapco doing a follow up on-site inspection to make sure we are satisfied. My expectations were met and I recommend them.
AAPCO completed two major projects for my home. A sunroom 22x16, Feb 2016 and recently a new roof for our home using architectural shingles to include two sheds. AAPCO added vinyl lattice work below the sunroom and dressed it up around the bottom nicely! Always professional and easy to communicate even when a consumer has an issue with a project. AAPCO is a class act and Ill be use them again in the future.
This company has great customer service. Had my gutters, downspouts, trim and siding done with them and they did amazing work would definitely use them again in the future.
USING APPCO WAS THE WORST EXPERIENCE OF MY LIFE! I met with Trever, the salesman, on a Saturday regarding my roof. We drew up a contract to repair my roof and I gave a deposit for a third of the work. By Monday my check was cashed yet I never received a phone call or date to start the work. I called the company and was told that a manager would get back to me, nobody ever called. I reached out to Trever ready to cancel. Trever made sure all was taken care of and the roofers got started two days later. Trever called a d told me that the roofers found rotted wood and it would cost almost an additional $7000 to replace. My husband and I were told that we could supply the wood to save cost as they charge $99 per sheet of plywood. When we tried to supply the wood for the repair the manager, Jeff, said he would only discount it $1 per sheet which would only save us $67!!!! Thats ridiculous. Well after a nasty conversation with Jeff who asked me if we wanted them to do the work for free and telling us they are losing money because Trever mismeasured the roof, we told them to proceed so we wouldnt have a gaping hole in our roof. After the work was completed, 4 days later when we were told it would take one day, I called the company because the contract stated we would need flat roof on the front of our house and the company installed shingles without our consent. I spoke with Jeff again who is the most rude, disrespectful, and unprofessional person you ever want to deal with. I was literally crying at work after talking to this man. I told him we have shingles and per the contract that was incorrect. He lied and said the couldnt do flat roof there. That was a total lie. When I asked why didnt they consult with us before making that decision, he blamed it on Trever and said he was supposed to. He said they would have never done the work if they knew the wood was rotted and said they lost money because of the mismeasurement, none of which was my fault as the consumer. I refused to speak with him anymore after he continued to be nasty and talk over me. I asked Trever to provide me with the number to corporate. Mike, one of the managers reached out to me. He was very respectful and offered to replace that portion of the roof or refund the cost for some the materials. After some negotiating we took the refund as we were promised it would be replaced if it leaked again. This entire experience was awful and I would never refer this company to anyone. I only asked for honesty, professionalism and for them to honor their word. We were lied to about the wood, the flat roof and never explained how long things would take. The company failed in so many places and we paid so much more than expected. I am thankful for Mike and Trever because without them we would have definitely went to court over this situation. We walked away feeling cheated. We paid for this job in cash and paid almost $20000 for a shingled roof on a 1700 square foot house!!! We had three minor leaks, no holes or noticeable damage to the roof. We have a very low pitch and this was way too expensive. Be careful who you hire and dont allow someone to bully or disrespect you, you are the paying customer!!! I wish we had done business with another company because my experience was the worst. In response to Mikes reply, Mike you came in after we were mistreated and I believe you tried your best to resolve the problem. Unfortunately that doesnt negate the fact that we were treated poorly by management staff at this company, nor does it negate the fact that we were given inaccurate information regarding the measurements and pitches on our roof. I try to give credit where due and I am most certainly honest about my experiences. Im honest about the rudeness and unprofessionalism we encountered from the company as well. Overall my roof job was done well however, we were misguided, mistreated and misinformed by your company which resulted in stress and financial strain on our family. This was an avoidable situation and was handled poorly. I do appreciate your intervention.
I recently had Aapco install a new roof on our home, the installation crew was very hardworking and very pleasant. Nothing but a positive experience with Aapco.
Great Job and very respectful crew!
I would like to share my experience with AAPCO and the 2 doors I received from them. First I want to be clear, the person who installed the doors was great, which figures since he is not a direct employee of AAPCO. The doors are also nice but if you are looking to do business with a Company that has good Customer Service, do not come here because it is horrible and that is due mainly to their Sales Manager, Jeff. I had the misfortune of speaking to this guy after my delivery which was supposedly scheduled was never delivered due to the truck being broken down on I-95. I called on the day of delivery a few times to see if a back up truck was going to pick up my doors and deliver but I guess that is not a policy of theirs and also tried to explain that it is hard for me and my wife to take whole days off since she is a teacher and I am military. Basically after a wasted day I tried to contact somebody to find out what their back up[ plan is, and unfortunately for me I ended up speaking to the Sales Manager, Jeff. Here is a very rude person, not sure he should be in sales. I asked him numerous times what their back up plan was because now I had no doors and was not sure when I would be getting them, his response was the send out 30 trucks everyday...??? Again I asked what the back up plan was and he told me he already answered it and that I was being difficult (and that I was doing it on purpose). He then told me I must lead a charmed life ( I have been wounded twice in combat so....)so at this point I was quite taken aback and shocked. I told him he was being a jerk and wanted to speak to his supervisor to which he told me I have no supervisor. I asked him if he was the owner and he told me no but he reports to the owner. I have been in the military almost 30 years and been toa lot of places and dealt with a lot of people but never have I paid over $6000 for a product to be treated like garbage. Just a few other things I was told on the phone was I should just get somebody else at my house when they deliver the doors if I cant take time off??? Who does that?? Then he asked if I still even wanted my doors delivered?? Strange question since I gave a deposit of $2000 and you already told me the doors were made and I had to buy them, I guess he just planned on keeping my $2000 and selling doors to somebody else...I did not want to write my review right away because I wanted to do my research and what I have found is I am not the first person to have Customer Service problems there. So if you like to spend a lot of money and be treated like garbage, I recommend AAPCO, otherwise please go somewhere else.On a side note, I did speak to the owner and he was very nice, I guess just not a very hands on owner if he has individuals like this working for him.
Just great people and great workers
