I visited Southern Fasteners and Supply for half a handful of specific metric screws for my 3D printer. I had visited both Lowes and the Home Depot and neither carried anything remotely close to what I needed.I came in, was immediately greeted, and asked how I could be helped. I explained that I needed a very small number of screws from their metric line and explained the specifics of what I was looking for (button-head socket M5 x 20mm). The gentleman asked me about any specifics (zinc coating) and then retrieved exactly what I needed. As I only needed a total of ten screws, the individual who helped me offered to let me just have the screws for free; the order was not significant enough to draft the associated paperwork. I left two dollars regardless, but the courtesy of simply giving me the screws was very impressive. I highly recommend Southern Fasteners and Supply and I will surely be returning whenever I need more screws.
