Eclectic little shop with a lot of goodies to discover. Skulls, taxidermy mounts, wets, bones, posters, crystals, cards, clothing, and more. Its small, but theres a lot packed in here. Reasonable prices for being able to see exactly what youre getting and instant gratification. Friendly staff, too! Will definitely visit again.

Wierd Eccentric Bizarre and a must go. The staff was as creepy as the goodies they offer, and makes the shop a hit with all who enter if they dare.

Really cool weird place of oddities.

Lots to look at and its a little different every time I go there. You can find unique gifts even for someone who normally wouldnt stop in. Last I checked there was a bucket of taxidermy toads.Useless fact: Back when this was a bike shop, a few scenes for Kramupus were filmed in the basement.

1 part creepy gift shop, 1 part taxidermists heaven, 1 part museum. Utterly unique.

Cool little oddities shop. This place has taxidermy and furs, skulls and bones, preserved specimens, and the like. They have a good selection of spiritual items as well. The staff are nice and very helpful. Its a pretty neat place to swing by while in Richmond.

Amazing store. Ive been there a couple of times and always walk out with spookies and oddities! The staff is also super nice, and I love that the store is located by the Hollywood Cemetery, so it adds to the atmosphere. I also really appreciate they care for their costumers by asking for masks inside the store. Fantastic little shop!!

Amazing service with mice prices! The staff are amazing and super friendly! Sad that they arent selling human skulls or the two nosed pig. If you like dark metaphysical type stores, this will be perfect.

Although a small space, it is easy to move throughout the store and will supply you with gloves if you need them. They have animals, insects, skeletons, and Wiccan nicknacks for viewing or purchase.

Such a cool shop. It has peices which are not for sale, but are so amazing to see. And the stuff you can buy is so awesome as well. The taxidermy stuff is on point. My friend ended up getting two pieces that are so beautiful. Posting a picture for clout even though its not mine but were purchased at the shop. Definitely stop by if you are in Richmond.

Super awesome! Taking lots of safety precautions :). Store is small and busy, so they only let a few people in at a time. Be prepared to wait, however the wait is SO worth it! Also they provide masks inside if you dont have one with you

This store is the best thing that ever happened to Richmond. I try to come here as much as possible because the selection of items is always changing!The employees are super nice and helpful. I’ve never gone into this store and left with nothing. If you’re traveling through Richmond you NEED to stop at this store.Even if you are not interested in the items they have it is worth looking around, if my Grandma asks me to go with her to this store i’m sure you’ll like it too!

What an amazing find! On a street corner near historic Hollywood cemetery, this curious little shop has everything to delight your morbid fascinations: animal skeletons and preserved remains, taxidermy, human remains (not for sale!), books, candles, crystals, and everything else you could possibly want as a Memento Mori. The store itself is laid out like a cozy museum, with all of the oddities labeled for their intrigue as historical and biological specimens.The staff are friendly and take their coronavirus guidelines seriously. If the store is at capacity, you may have to wait for a short while on the sidewalk, but trust me that the experience is worth the wait!

An interesting shop filled with oddities and eclecticweirdness! Wonderfully curated for the darker souls in this world! The shop keepers or owners where highly passionate about the pieces and artifacts they held in the store! A great place to see fascinating and somewhat macabre items.

Neet little shop to pop into for some fun. The giraffe and giraffe skulls where very interesting. The hippo skull was unbelievable. The really human skeleton was also something I has not expected but cool little place.

Very cool little store selling everything witchy, goth, and generally taboo. They have everything from tarot cards, to various animal skulls and preserved bodies, to crystals, and more. There are also several interesting not-for-sale items on display including a human skeleton, and several taxidermied anomalies such as a two headed calf. Overall if you are into anything generally considered dark or occult, this is the store for you.

I love RIP! It is truly an Oregon Hill staple. I no longer live in RVA but I check their website regularly and they always have new products. I recently ordered a few gifts for a friend (and a few for me) and was shocked at how quickly they arrived in CA (3 days!!). I appreciate the care with which things were wrapped and presented. They ran out of one of the crystals I ordered but offered to give me two smaller versions of what I had originally purchased, which was a welcomed alternative. Their response via email/instagram is punctual and I have never received anything but great customer service. If you are ever in need of a one of a kind gift or oddities and curiosities in your own life, this is the place to go.

This shop truly is a gem to Richmond. I first came here in 2016 through word of a friend and from the minute I stepped in, I couldnt help but walk out with a handful of jars and specimens.The following year when my hedgehog fell ill and passed, I called up Justin and Alaina so that we could have him preserved to give him a proper send-off. They were absolutely lovely to work with and very understanding, and the product to this day is my favorite in my oddities collection. It made the process so much easier, and it warms my heart to have a piece that means so much to me from a place right close to home.I always love to bring friends here and they always love it! Hands down my staple whenever I come to Richmond. You cant leave without at least a couple of bones for your shelf! You guys rock.

I am probably as square as they come- read: not your cool kid who rolls around Oregon hill with awesome tattoos and interest in obscure local bands. Honestly, I was a little intimidated when I went to the store to purchase a few decor items for my living room- Emily and the owner could not have been more pleasant or helpful while we shopped and helped us select the right items for the space with artist’s eyes, and I greatly appreciated their extensive COVID precautions. He even delivered to the other end of town for me- fantastic customer service. I will be back!

Oddities shop right near Hollywood cemetery that has some very neat items. I ended up picking up quite a few items and the owners are down to earth.

Purchased some bugs from rest in pieces and they have an awesome store. Staff is cool, and I am glad we have a place where I can buy cool stuff.

Very fun shop to visit, many lovely sights and items decorated this place. A wonderful glimpse of the macabre, and an opportunity to own some of it for yourself. Preserved specimens galore enshrined in enamel or simply suspended in a shadowbox, these beautiful specimens preserve well the beauty of both life and death. If youre ever in the area and care to appreciate some of the darker aspects of existence, this shop is a must visit.

I cant say enough good things about Rest In Pieces. Everyone is always friendly and super helpful. The few times Ive had the opportunity to speak to what I believe are the owners, theyve been nothing but kind, genuine and always enthusiastic in talking about their collection. The store itself is full of interesting pieces, and its just as fun to go in and wander around as it is to shop.

Atmospheric and interesting store located right next to the beautiful Hollywood Cemetery! A lovely place to look into taxidermy, occult arts, and historical artifacts. It was my first time in the shop today and boy was it a blast. The taxidermy was gorgeous and they had things in every nook and cranny. The selection of Crystals, skulls, and taxidermy was super cool and at a reasonable price! Just to walk around was a treat but their merch for themselves are really nice as well and I was excited to find a nice beanie! Definitely going back and fully recommended!

Definitely different but not at all what I expected. I wouldve thought it wouldve had much more funeral service artifacts and antiques, especially considering the name and proximity to Hollywood Cemetery but it was really more animal specimens than anything. Definitely had some neat stuff and some occult merchandise like Tarrot cards and Ouija boards but not really what I was hoping.

Amazing museum like experience with a haunted vibe. The atmosphere is unlike anything in the US! Definitely a must visit for Richmond tourists, everything is so compact that you will have a hard time seeing everything in one visit.
