We did a small local move into a temp apartment with them. The guys were awesome. They worked fast and did not damage my house or furnishings. Very polite too. Cavalier Moving was the best moving company we have ever used. They were extremely responsive, polite and upfront from the initial phone call requesting a quote until the last item was placed in our home. Rhys, Ryan P., Luke and Melvin moved our furniture from a storage unit to our home and nothing was damaged. They moved our furniture like it was their own, taking care of every piece and making sure all items were placed in the location we requested. Moving is a very stressful and anxiety filled event, but I can tell you by my experience with Cavalier (especially Curtis and Kevin), they put my stress for this task to rest. After a long distance move, new beds w/springs and mattresses arrived unassembled. The manufacturer called Colonial to assemble them. Our experience with Cavalier was great. My wife and I needed to move and Cavalier was able to make that happen with 2 weeks notice. The company checked in with us periodically to confirm the details and to let us know what time to expect the movers. They also called us the day before the move to let us know that an earlier time slot had opened up which we happily accepted.Chase and Ryan P. showed up 15 minutes early (great) and got straight to work. They worked efficiently and took care of all the necessary disassembly and reassembly with no problems. While moving everything into our new house they took great care not to cause any damage or even track mud or dirt into the house. We booked 4 hours and they got everything over to the new house and assembled in 3. My wife and I were very happy with the service and strongly recommend the company for anyone looking to hire a moving company.

They came prepared and on time with all the proper equipment needed and made sure to cover furniture when moving in and out of the house to prevent any potential damage. Hayden, Chi, and Kyle worked quickly and professionally to make sure I got the best value for their time and ensured everything was properly reassembled and organized the way we needed it before completing the job.

Chase and Ryan H did a great job helping us move. They showed up on time, scoped the place out, and quickly got to work. They were consistently very careful with everything (covering/wrapping things as made sense) while still completing the move pretty quickly. They also found a creative solution for getting one particularly difficult piece of furniture out of our old place. Definitely recommend!

Very professional - covering furniture before loading and making sure everything was secure.When we moved to Richmond a few months ago we hired people recommended by uhaul - one of the guys was panting after each time up the stairs. Not the case with these guys! Id say they didnt break a sweat - but its Virginia and that is almost impossible - but their ability to keep going for hours is a sign they are professional movers. Another sign of their professionalism was their ability to naturally work together to maneuver furniture.

Jaleel, Loke, and Lorenzo from Cavalier came out and moved my home for me today. It wasnt an easy job - there were lots of stairs and lots of big, heavy pieces of furniture (many of them, antiques) that they had to move into a storage unit.
