Nobody wants to have a bad tattoo but unfortunately my tattoo here with Charlie did not go well. I was left with severely scarred and torn up skin, and my tattoo was not able to be fixed until 10 months later. My skin scabbed far more heavily than I have ever seen and while I have never bled at all for another tattoo I bled heavily for this one. There were also issues with lines not being straight and coloring going outside the lines.I have healed several other tattoos of similar size with similar amounts of ink and never had an issue. I spoke to multiple other artists after having this work done and each confirmed the issue was with the artist and not my aftercare. I have finally had the tattoo repaired (which of course was extra cost) but it will never be free of flaws. Other artists here may do good work but unfortunately my skin is permanently damaged

Shop is always clean, comfortable & sanitary.The guys are friendly and super talented.I appreciate that Dave gives honest feedback BEFORE starting projects with me & he is usually my go to guy for most of my work! :)I never leave this shop unsatisfied because they hold themselves to high standards and produce solid, quality work.(And, if I ever WAS unsatisfied, I have 0 doubt in my mind theyd do whatever they could to make it right.)Hands down my fav shop. Support these guys and tip good, you will NOT be disappointed!

David did a fantastic job refreshing a 21 y.o. rose on my chest. It looks brand new and I couldnt be happier with it.

Highly recommend this shop! From the awesome atmosphere, to the professional and clean work I would absolutely tell everyone who is looking to get work done to check this place out. Ask for Charlie, I’m not saying he’s an alien but he’s definitely an alien. His work speaks for itself and a more honest and talented artist I could not have asked for. They have absolutely earned my business and I will be returning.

My first experience at Masquerade was with Jay. He did my ribs in 2013... The day before my wedding! He was very mellow and his work spoke for itself. He made it a great experience. The shop stayed in my mind and I referred people there. Surprisingly a lot of close friends already love Masquerade. It is clean, professional, and the artists have some of the most impressive portfolios around. In 2017 I made an appointment with Dave; a decision I will never regret! He did such a beautiful job on my blue hydrangea tattoo and 3 days ago he just did a neo-traditional Sherlock Holmes on the opposite forearm. These two tattoos by Dave have been the easiest healing process and some of the most stunning work. Not to mention hes a fun guy to sit with. In short: Here, Masquerade, TAKE ALL MY MONEY! Thank you all for your great work.

Amazing place. Dave has been my artist exclusively for years and that will continue to be the case for many years to come. Have had an affection for his work since day one. All of the guys at The shop are awesome and very friendly. Phil in particular was very kind. So much so that on a break from his 5 hour session with another customer, he asked if I wanted anything when he went on a Dunkin Donuts run. You can tell all the artists here are passionate about their art, as it should be. Very homey place indeed.

I got my very first tattoo here. The store is a beautiful house turned business. Very clean very professional. All the artists do nice work but jay is amazing!!! I highly recommend coming here.

Dave is a great artist and just and overall really cool guy. He did a few pieces for my wife and I, they all came out great, actually better than we’d planned thanks to his advice. I highly recommend this place.
