The professionalism and quality of service at this salon is great! Glad I have found a reliable, local spot. It is a very spacious and clean salon and given the number of stylists, its not difficult to find a time slot that can accommodate your schedule. I appreciate that the salon is open late as well. I have worked with Alyssa, who took the time to listen to my request and gave me a personalized consultation for a look which worked great for me! She is very knowledgeable and I trusted her feedback. Alyssa is also very personable and made the 3 hour experience fly by! I was super happy with the end result of my balayage treatment.

I’ve been coming to Panico for years! My experience has always been friendly, and I’ve always had great work done on my hair. I love Corinne and her willingness to always get me the look I’m going for. She’s very meticulous and always goes above and beyond! More recently the salon has become more chic and super enjoyable to spend time in, the outdoor lounge area is so nice and relaxing and such a great vibe. I really feel like Panico is cutting edge in so many ways - especially since the pandemic and I am looking forward to seeing great things in the future !

Let me start by saying that whenever I have an appointment here, it’s such a treat! I cannot begin to say enough Incredible things about this place,it’s so clean, so pretty, BUT especially about MEL! I have been going here now for over 5 years, and Im in the industry and I can tell you that there is no one like Mel! Her flair for color, knowing instantly as she looks at you what would work, is unreal! The way she cuts, her blow outs! She really is truly talented!! Book with MEL, I promise you will be just as obsessed as I am!!

I do not have enough good things to say about this salon! Not only is the salon clean and safe, the staff is wonderful. Alyssa always does such an amazing job on my hair! I can confidently say she does the best job with my extremely thick hair. She takes the time to really understand what you want and knows exactly how to make you leave feeling like a new, beautiful person! Panico was a life saver when I needed purple tinted streaks removed from my white hair ASAP or I would lose a film acting job set in the 19th century. I was beyond fortunate a cancellation allowed a last minute appointment. The atmosphere is meticulously designed to guard health and feels comfortable and friendly with all staff extremely courteous and caring. Corinne, my stylist is a miracle worker, kind, understanding and professionally brilliant. She was nothing short of a gift, an outstanding talent. I am forever grateful to Panico and looking forward to returning in calmer circumstances.

I got my haircut recently at Panico by a woman named Corinne. I told her exactly why I was there and exactly what I wanted. In fact, I repeated myself several times to be clear. When she finished, it was apparent that she either didn’t understand clear instructions or simply ignored them. By the time I got to my car and put on my glasses, I could see the full extent of what she had done. This woman did the exact opposite of what I asked her to do. I called the store to see if I could speak with Corinne, but she was already gone. The girl over the phone assured me that the owner would call the very next day. Three days later and still no call. When I took it upon myself to call the store back, I spoke with a manager named Sasha. Sasha did not seem to care one bit about the fact that her employee chopped off hair that took me 12 months to grow. Further, when asked why I never received a call back, she told me “I didn’t have your number.” This was a bald-faced lie which she was caught in just a few seconds later (if you’ve ever been to Panico, you know that they get more contact information than your doctor’s office and most DEFINITELY had my phone number). At this point, I am absolutely disgusted with this place and extremely upset with the haircut that I am now STUCK with. It seems that the low IQ women that work at this place care far more about looking at themselves in the mirror than they do about the satisfaction of their clients. I would not recommend this place to my worst enemy.

SAVED BY PANICO! One call to owner Jack Panico was all it took to get me rescued from a disastrous haircut at another salon. Although I had been seeing my stylist for seven years, for some reason I got a bad haircut. It happens. So I went back to have it fixed, only to get the exact same disastrous haircut but shorter. Picture Javier Bardem in No Country for Old Men (yes, it was that bad)! Enter Panico. I met Jack last year through my work advocating for small businesses and fortunately thought to call him. It was an emergency--I was scheduled to speak at an event just a few days later and needed to look my best. Jack Panico listened. I told him I usually had long, straight hair and now it was short and terrible. He took my number and called me back with an appointment with Mernaz Moussavian. Mernaz took time to really look at my hair, the way it grows, the shape of my face and she discussed with me my best options. She cut and dried, cut a little more and styled, making me feel comfortable the entire time. I am truly a new person--my husband came in and walked right past my chair looking for me! Thanks to the experts at Panico salon I now have an updated, even more youthful look and am getting compliments every day.

I’ve been on a search for a great haircut for a while now. Usually I am left unsatisfied, I am very picky. I will admit I take getting a good haircut seriously. Tonight my wife made a last minute reservation at Panico and I got Carrine. She did such an awesome job. Pleasure to talk too and amazing at her job. She asked me what I wanted, had a plan and executed it phenomenally. By the way I’m a guy. I only say that for reference and style cuts. Go to Carinne she’s amazing!!

I went to Panico for a balayage color and it turned out amazing. I saw Alyssa and not only did my hair look great, but i felt extremely safe with their Covid precautions.

Getting my hair colored at this salon Was one of the absolute worst & most expensive mistakes of my life! They have substandard & very obnoxious employees. My “stylist” literally turned my naturally brown hair pumpkin orange! That was NOT the color I requested at all. However, in true panico fashion, stylist deflected and blamed my hair for her horrific service which I paid $400 for! For the record, I never colored my hair before-ever! Oh and unlike the amazing staff at panico Oradell, the employees here judge customers by skin color and amount of designer labels they walk in wearing. Big mistake that I didn’t have a disposable income to warrant a decent service. I made the mistake of spending my $ on graduate school. I’m so grateful for Lennon Brooks where the Panico Oradell staff is at! Quality service for EVERYONE & NO discrimination.

Incredible Salon! I don’t normally write reviews, but I just went here for the first time and had an amazing experience. The front desk was professional, friendly and welcoming. I’ve been searching for years to find someone to give me an actual consult (tell me what she thinks, give me suggestions, etc) and it doesn’t sound like it would be too hard, but for me it has been.My stylist, Alyssa was beyond helpful and knowledgeable when it came down to what I wanted. She was patient, heard me out, told me her process and gave me the best balayage I’ve ever received. She nailed it and I will definitely be a new regular here!

I went to this salon today (first time) upon recommendation from my trusted co worker. I seen the same stylist as my co worker and her mother. They have been seeing this same stylist for years. The stylists name is Dali. She was honestly so great. I have long thinning hair due to health issues and she really made my hair look so nice. I know working with thinning hair is not always easy, but she really knew how to work with what I had & I trusted her judgement. Super sweet too! I would definitely come back to have her cut my hair again. Thanks Dali

I was able to book an appt after just waking out of a salon in Ridgewood so upset w my hair and service. Michelle the stylist took a consult with me and asked me what I wanted and made me feel confident walking out. She did exactly what I wanted and I will never go to any other salon but her now. She is amazing 😉

I dont normally trust other people with my hair after one bad experience with a hair cut (not here), but the ladies and gentlemen of panico know exactly what to do with my hair. Theyve never let me down and the service is super friendly. Ive only ever gotten a hair cut here but they also do color and nails (and Im sure other services)

Last year, Maryam cut short my long curly locks, which Id been growing for years. I asked her to make her own decision about what I needed.She hesitated, understandably, suggesting I go less drastic on the first cut, but I put my faith in her and boy was I glad I did. She chose a great cut for me. I love it!

Exspensive but worth it. I have a girl I always go to...cut, color anything. And I go with her advice and she has never steered me wrong. My mother also went here but her person left and she didnt find a new person she liked. Hair is so personal, you really need to click with your stylist.

I have been a client at the Panico location in Ridgewood for the past 10 years. Its like a second home to me. I am there ALL the time. Dali has been my hairdresser during that time and she is the absolute BEST -- from her beautiful personality and her hair cutting and coloring expertise to her ability to always fit me into her very busy schedule. I love her and always have an amazing experience at Panico. I also highly highly recommend Nasrin for eyebrow threading. There is no one better. She is as lovely as she is talented -- from the inside out! Run (dont walk) to Panico for Dali and Nasrin!

Horrible customer service . I made my appointment 2 weeks In advance for a double process and color correction, and when I went in for appointment they told me they had no time because they booked me for a single process. No communication between staff, and told me they wouldn’t do my hair unless I signed a waiver, Incase it came out looking horrible. I was being rushed through my whole visit . Never again will I make an appointment with this salon. Staff were very rude and not welcoming.
