I heard a person mention the partying. Unfortunately it does happen but the good news is if the seasonals get to out of hand there is a lock down policy in order. A drunken parent will be guaranteed help finding their small children!

Just got home from Woodmore campground. Enjoyed our stay. Clean,safe family oriented campground. Really liked the wood delivery.Nice touch. Only drawback was the late party people that where hitting it pretty hard all weekend. Management was all over them. Especially was impressed with management stoping by in the AM to apologize for the noise. “We don’t allow that behavior here”. Appreciate that from them. We will be back. If your looking for a quick weekend getaway or longer stay this is the place.

A family owned campground, it has a very large in ground pool, horse shoes volley ball, hiking trails close by, and boating! Clean and quiet! Very good prices!

We use to love this campground! We camped there weekends and vacations for 3-4 years and couldn’t say enough good things!! We became seasonal, over the years (7 to be exact), it’s become very obvious that the owners pay more attention to you if you have... A-Money, B-a service/talent to offer or share, and C-volunteer your time...

We can not say enough about the people who own, run and operate this campground. My family and I spent a week at Woodmore and it was PACKED! BUT everyone was friendly and respectful not only to each other but also to the Sam’s, father and Son, the guys making sure everyone and everything was top notch! You feel safe and welcome at Woodmore, and they even have a timed adult swim with no kids 😂 A+ In our book!

Been to many campsites. Been tent camping all my life and I am very happy with the site we got T5. Took a walk and most of the T sites are somewhat secluded. Some of the sites closely adjoin if you have a larger group.Also fire wood and ice prices are excellent and they deliver to your site.No complaints and will definitely come back.

Loved this campground! Nice people, very well maintained, level pull through site. Fun to watch the kids on their bikes and playing volleyball and in the pool. This is the kind of place where memories are made.

We stayed there 3 nights, our 1st time there. We stayed at the safari field. The bathrooms we used were the ones near the pool/playground area. Extremely clean, I believe brand new too. The children had fun in the pool, they played volleyball and used the basketball court. The lake was walking distance, pretty close, we all loved fishing from the dock. We rented 6 kayaks from single to doubles it cost us $80 for 1 hour. We enjoyed it very much. There is no swimming near the dock but because we had the kayaks we took a dip in a little island not far from the shore. On Friday they had a movie night, Saturday they had bingo. The wifi only works near the office but why do we need it anyways??? Overall the campground is clean, staff friendly enough. We will definitely going back.

We stumbled upon this beautiful, well maintained and awesome campground on our way back to Florida from visiting the New England states...this is one of the most decent, clean and well kept campgrounds....the owners, Sam and Chris were super nice and accommodating to us...their girls are super sweet too!! Loved canoeing on the lake...overall, we had a most enjoyable stay here at Woodmore Campground....we will definitely be back when in the area again!! Thanks again, Sam and Chris

Excellent campground with a large playground, pool, Wi-Fi and games as well as waterfront. Group activities are awesome.

I have been camping for about 50 years all throughout the northeast. Woodmore campground is definitely my favorite place to go. Quiet time is enforced, pets are allowed, there is swimming, boating and lots to do if you choose to participate. Sam and Chris are friendly, reasonable and fair. I have camped at Woodmore as both a weekender and a seasonal, in a tent, a pop up and a travel trailer and loved it all. It’s a great family campground!

Owners were extreamly kind & helpful. Wood delivered to site for $10 a bucket. Ultimately wouldve had a better experience if I didnt feel like the family in the site next to mine was watching my every move. Seemingly staring at me like I dont belong. Sites are close to eachother... kinda takes a bit away from the camping experience when your surrounded by so many other humans. But its right on the water, making for a great sunset! DEFINITELY family oriented, its a place the kids would enjoy for sure! Consisting of a Pool, playground, & arcade. As for 18+ if your looking for a couples getaway or friendly gathering it wouldnt be my first suggestion.

We’ve taken multiple trips here each summer for over 5 years. The owners pride themselves on creating a family friendly environment. They offer weekend activities for kids and families. The arcade, playground and pool are clean and safe. Staff and other campers are very friendly and welcoming.

Traveled with three other families to Woodmore for Columbus day weekend and had a great time. Sites were spacious and clean. Owners were really nice and very helpful for us newcomers. We went apple picking at a local orchard and then hiked Mt. Monadnock which was only 15 minutes away. Campground was about 50% seasonal, but all the rentals were together. Atmosphere was nice and everyone there was very friendly. Would definitely come back again.

Weve been coming to Woodmore for quite a few years. We absolutely love it. The owners are wonderful, the seasonals are second to none and friendly as can be. They bring in great local bands for the enjoyment of all. They always have fun activities planned. Best place!

We have been camping with Woodmore Campground for 3 years now and we absolutely love it there. Chris and Sam make sure everyone is happy and things run smoothly. They have tons of activities for the kids and adults to attend. This campground is clean and their sites are well kept and neat. They just built a brand new bathroom and laundry room right across from the pool. I love that playground, pool, beach volleyball court, bocci and horseshoes are all in the center of the campground. Easy to keep and eye on your kids. I cant say enough about this wonderful campground and Ive had family and friends stay here within the last 3 years. Theyve all been very happy. Thank you Chris and Sam for all you do, for all of us that stay here with you at your campground!!!

Very friendly and helpful staff. Game room was fun. Pool area and playground was great for my 2 kids. Prices were great. Little store at the office has everything you need if you forget something from home. We loved it there. Stayed 3 nights and it was awesome.

We have been camping here for 4 years. Our family and friends travel far to spend a week here. Its our personal family reunion. The owners are fabulous, the Campground is clean, and the grounds are safe for the kids. Cant wait for another year to come.

Woodmore is one of the best places to make lifetime friends and socialize. The campers are friendly and welcoming ... and the owners go out of their way to make everyone feel welcome and safe we don’t have to worry about our kids and grand kids riding their bikes or walking to the pool because they have our backs... they truely uphold the values of a Family Camp Ground❤️

I went up with my boyfriends family and neighborhood friend. We were all sitting and eating at one of there campsites and our friend was making jokes. when we went to hangout at the pool the other guests were staring at us and pointing fingers like we didn’t belong. If we said hi to other campers they would just stare at us. I do not recommend anyone coming here if you want to have a good time with your family around friendly people.

Ive stayed at hundreds of campgrounds and have never found one that charged money from visitors! Never heard of this before! The driveways are difficult to go through with 5th wheel due to narrow rock walls, and a spike strip on the exit driveway! Also were all packed in like sardines - barely enough room for a picnic table! I have to believe that people who recommend this place have not stayed in a lot of campgrounds!

Great atmosphere, lots to do for the kids and adults. They even balance adult swim every day with candy bar bingo to keep the kids entertained! The lake access and pool are both great to have! Fun, friendly, clean!

We came here to attend a wedding close by and we were reserved for 2 nights and then we were supposed to go to ocean for 2 more nights, we decided to stay here. Everyone here was so nice and accomodating. We loved the kayaking and the whole atmosphere was very quiet and very relaxing! We well make this trip again for sure! Thank you for a great vacation!

My husband and I have been seasonal camper at Woodmore Campground for 8 plus years, we live at the camp ground 3 months out of year, we have seen a lot of good changes over the years, Sam and Cris are very friendly and we have made the people at Camp part of our family. I would recommend this campground hands down!

Weve been camping here every Summer for the past 10+ years. The owners go above and beyond to make the campground Family friendly and safe for everyone. Every weekend, there are planned activities for kids and special events for the whole Family to participate in. The sites are clean and spacious. There are beautiful rustic sites for those who prefer to camp in tents as well as pull-through sites for those with bigger campers. I love coming back to see what positive changes have been made over the Winter. This years newest addition is a brand new, ADA accessible bath house. The many friends we have made over the years are now part of our Family. I have camped all over New England and Woodmore is by far, my favorite.

We spent a month at Woodmore Camground last year based on recommendations from a friend. The owners Sam and Chris were warm and welcoming from the beginning and made us all feel at home. The camground was clean, the seasonal campers were friendly and helpful and my kids loved it and feel safe there thanks to the family friendly environment. The lake is beautiful for boating, the kids can catch fish on the dock and there are just enough fun activities on the weekends for families to enjoy but still have time to relax. We enjoyed our time there so much that were now spending the season this year and look forward to many more.

This campground is a 5 star in my familys opinion, the owners are very easy to get along with. Family is everything. They do there best to make everyone feel welcome. We have had lots of good times there and the owners are always involved with all of the activities. There are some times stuff happens with campers that are out of there control if brought to there attention it will be addressed right away. There moto is to have always Happy Campers. So cheers to you woodmore and thank you for another great season.

We have been camping at Woodmore for about 6 years. Seasonals for basically 3 years it is always a safe fun filled summer here. Some folks like to complain about the rules but they are usually the ones breaking them all. We have always felt like we can trust the people around us because the owners are always onsite making themselves available for any needs.

We have always been traveling campers. Been to a ton of campgrounds over the past 30 years. We visited Woodmore for the first time 3 years ago then came back twice the following year. Never thought we would be long term stayers. But we loved it so much that we stayed for 3 -1/2 months this year. It is one of the friendliest atmospheres I have camped in. And there are just enough open activities to not overwhelm you. Next year we are spending the entire season. 😍 love it.

Woodmoore campground is that campground you dont want to leave, its like a second home for us and have been camping for over 30 years!!! Woodmoore is by far the best one we have seasoned at. Lots to do for kids and adults.

I dont understand the previous negative post. If someone yelled to slow down, then they were not going 4 mph! There are many many children running to and from the pool, playground, and game room. Sometimes you have to drive at a snails pace because as we all know, kids are in their own little world when they are playing. The owners take these issues very seriously and stress the speed limit when checking in, including the huge banner that reads CHILDREN AT PLAY 5 MPH stretched across the road above upon entering the security gate. Public intoxication is definitely not tolerated at this campground. I have seen the owners eject people for public intoxication in the past to protect the family atmosphere that woodmore has become to be known as! The campground is very clean. If the previous negative comment said there was mud on the bathroom floor, then no doubt it was a rainy weekend! I consider the bathrooms very clean and I am very particular where I use facilities. To the last point on this negative comment the the roads have potholes. The roads are not paved so that they look like a campground and not a CONDO trailer park! If this person was complaining about the potholes, then there is no doubt in my mind he was going faster than 4 mph ! I guess its true you cant make everyone happy. These owners bend over backwards to try, but some people cant be satisfied! Intelligent people will be able to read between the lines of the only 2 neagative comments on here!!

Was very pleased this past weekend.the office staff was great!!!the grandkids had a great time with kid bingo and glow parade.we had 2 pull through site by the pool.this campground has some beautiful tent and small trailer sites on the way to the lake.

Came to Woodmore 5 years ago for Memorial Day. The effort the owners put into making sure you are enjoying yourselves, they are hands on people who want to interact with their campers, asking your feedback to know how they are doing and want to improve. The seasonals make you feel so welcome, we fell in love with the campground. We booked multiple more weekends for that year right then and have been going there ever since. They give you the freedom to enjoy yourself but deal with any issues expeditiously and fairly. There is plenty to do if you choose, the site are large allowing you to just relax and do nothing if thats what you want. they are constantly improving the grounds to give you a great camping experience. If you want a family focused campground Woodmore family campground is the place to go.

Wish I could give this place less than 1 star. I have been camping with family and friends for 15 years straight and it has always been very pleasing up until this year. This campground was unexceptional. We felt unnacepted from the campground right as we arrived. The seasonals and workers were a clique and were not friendly whatsoever to us. I’m an out going person and I said hi to a few people while setting up my campsite and got no responce just grinning looks. The facilities were not exceptional and the sites were very tight. The rates are also more than any other campground, the site price is set for two adults and we have a camper set to sleep six people and we had six people but we ended up paying for 4 extra people which is ten dollars a person. The owner should not be handling this campground the way he is. I’m surprised this place has been kept alive for this long. There is more to say but I’m just gonna leave it at save your time and go to MI TE JO or peters pond two of my favorite campgrounds.

After 15 years as a seasonal camper I am being kicked out because so call my site is messy. I do have a few things around that I planned to remove this spring but they made up their mind to just kick me out. The new owners are very strict on how old you trailer can be( no more than 10 years) and how it looks. Ive been coming to this campground since the 70s. I was just a kid when my grandmother was coming there. I feel that the real reason they do not want my aging parents not to come in, my dad has alzheimers, but they wont admit it. I do not recommend you come to this campground because it could happen to you too.

This is a great family campground experience. Both parents and children are able to participate in festivities each weekend- and the Mini Fenway Park wiffle ball field is a sight to see for any Red Sox fans! I really appreciated how friendly the owners were with my children and family. We will be back next season!

Me and wife went there this place is a joke drunk lady yelling at top of her voice slow down when i was only going about 4 mphi went to owner and asked to resolve this and the owner did nothing, went to take a shower and floor was mud ya ok clean in shower and step in mud to dry up roads are all pot holes witch turned into mud roads people are also very unfriendly will never ever go there agan and will warn all my camping friends too we ben camping all over all year this place is by far the worst,,,,, they make it sound so nice on phone too there are much better places i will go to spend our money,,,
