Good food and clean place. Only taking a star off because their lox bagel is a little skimpy for $11 lol won’t order this there again but their hero’s and bagels are great!!

Good staff and good food, which is what this chain is known for. It only loses a star because their pricing is a little... aggressive. Nobody should be paying $7 for a BEC.

Bagels are always fresh and delicious. Chicken salad is amazing as well. They are a little light on the beverage and snack front, but they make up for it with bagel selection and service.

So I’ve been coming in for years. However, the last few weeks I’ve noticed three new girls working behind the counter that seem to have an attitude problem towards their customers. They roll their eyes and whisper things to each other about the customers and then will speak in Spanish and look at the customer and laugh ultimately making you feel as if they are talking about you. I have always loved the food at Goldberg’s. And the two main reasons I continue to come back are because of the delicious food and because of the great service I always receive from Kate and Shannon, who are fantastic! However due to the new girls behaviors I’m afraid I will be finding a new bagel shop. I’m very disappointed in the disrespect.

This is the saddest Everything bagel I have ever purchased. And it cost $1.35. 35 cents more than the competition. Won’t be going back.

The bagels from this spot are amazing. There are a few other bagel shops near by, but if you ever want a good bagel and you are in the area, this place is a must.

Not the worst but not the best either. Just wished they opened earlier like other bagel stores. Feel like they are missing a lot of business from people being on the road between 6 and 7 going to work. Have to stop at Oakland most mornings

Unfortunately overpriced and terrible service. The staff here didn’t care to pay attention to our order and served us sloppy food. The owner was just sitting on his phone.

Stopped here yesterday for a mid morning snack while cycling down the hill. Amazing plain bagel with cream cheese and the staff was very nice.

Great sandwiches. Always a little wait even if you call and order ahead of time. Present situation there is no order. People waiting an hr for food. Phone orders to go not ready for 25-30 min after arrival. Probably overwhelmed from shop in Pompton Lakes being sold.

Great place. Lot of great custom sandwiches, and of course the usual staples you would expect.Really awesome folks working in there too, just a friendly spot worth becoming a regular of if you are a local, or stopping in for a quick bite if you are in the area and hungry.

Most inconsistent bagels either no holes or giant holes, either alot of seeds or hardly any nasty egg salad.

A very good bagel, breakfast and sandwich shop, to eat in or take out. Great choice of spreads for your bagel selection or buy a dozen to take home. During warmer months you can eat out front at tables and chairs. It would feel cozier if they used incandescent type lighting instead of the cold fluorescent lights they currently have.

I called to place an order at 10:36 this Saturday.I think I recognized the voice taking the order as the owner Rob. As I placed my order, exactly as I have ordered in the store for years, “egg sandwich, double egg, double cheese with pepper jack cheese and bacon,” he was so intent on interrupting me to tell me what his sandwiches had on them already, he didn’t listen to my detail of requesting pepperjack cheese.I was told 20 minutes.My daughter arrived at 20 minutes and had to wait with those that had not called in an order for her chance to pick up our order, another 10+ minutes.Not a great experience. She arrived home and my sandwich was exactly “as he makes them” with America cheese instead of the pepperjack I had asked for.I have read complaints over the years about incorrect orders, which can happen, but this was the owner who showed he is careless. I have bitten my tongue, continued to support and talked up Goldbergs because of the hard working counter people such as Kate, Heather and others doing their best. I have quietly returned from home to give them a chance to correct my order, which they gladly do.Rob ruined my breakfast sandwich. I didn’t return to get a correct sandwich since it would mean waiting in line or imposing on those already in line and then waiting for the correct sandwich.I don’t plan on going there ever again. I’ve seen or heard others say that and didn’t anticipate I would feel this way but I do. I am done.Cupsaw Market cares!

Great place for bagels and more. There is always a long line, but goes quickly. The bagels are always fresh, the muffins are delicious. The staff is very friendly. They have a few tables for people to sit down and eat.

This is the second time Ive been here and the bagels are hard, even after a light toast with butter the bagel is still hard. My second round I got an egg and cheese sandwich, bagel was hard but the egg and cheese was very good. Everyone who works there are friendly and pleasantly talkative. The coffee is great! You can sit and eat in and the parking lot is big.

Dont expect to get served if you dont personally know someone who works there. Waited over twenty minutes (after placing our simple order) while the unfriendly girls behind the counter served all their family and friends who came in after us. Eventually we just had to walk out and never got our food. Worst service Ive ever seen.

Excellent bagels and coffee. The only downside was a woman who frequents the place on weekends was drowning in cheap, nasty perfume (Its my signature! Everyone knows Im here when they smell my perfume! she bragged), so bad that I could taste her perfume in my bagel and we very nearly left, choking on the stench. I doubt Ill go back, and thats a shame because its good food and very local to my house.

Excellent bagels and sandwiches. The staff is all high school kids, but typically fairly friendly. Prices are reasonable and the sandwiches are huge and stuffed. Try the viper, roast beef and egg on a Kaiser roll.

Best bagels in the area. The store can get crowded quickly and the line can take a while. There is a large selection of bagels, cream cheeses, baked goods, and cooked breakfast sandwiches. Drink selection is decent. Overall the go-to breakfast spot in Ringwood

Absolutely sucks. Terrible service. They don’t take pride in what they serve people and if you say anything the staff talks about you blatantly like you don’t have ears. They tried to serve me some burnt garbage. I don’t even know how they would even try to serve that to me. It was so burnt I would have broke my teeth if I tried to eat it. Avoid this place.

Had their Gingerbread spread on my bagel the other day. I was feeling a bit bold and thought I would try it. It was just the thing I needed to get into the holiday season mood!

I ordered an egg and cheese sandwich on a wheat bagel and my daughter had a bagel with cream cheese. Both of us enjoyed our meal, but we were surprised about how small the bagels were. They were half the size of everyone elses egg sandwiches, but not half the price. I wouldnt recommend this place.

Been coming here weekly for four years now. In the last 5 trips to pickup sandwiches, 4 times have been messed up. Today just happens to be the icing on the cake. Ham and cheese on a bagel, and roast beef and cheese on a bagel. One person being helped in front of me, and takes the girl behind the counter almost 15 minutes to make them. On top of that, ever got my coleslaw or macaroni salad, and she had to ask for my order 4 times in the first 5 minutes as she was making it. Previous trips were regular egg sandwiches with either bacon or Taylor ham, and every time requested no ketchup or salt, and still got it. On top of that, the meat or eggs are either over or undercooked. Im done with this place

My gf and I walked into this establishment and asked if they were still open. A worker that was cleaning the tables looked at us and rudely said Nope! And he also made some comment under his breath that we couldnt fully make out. I responded that he didnt have to be so rude about it. The girl behind the counter then apparently yelled at the guy for being rude to us as we were already walking out. As we left we saw the hours of operation and it was about an hour and a half before the place closed. We only asked as we walked in in case they were leaving early and we didnt want to be the people that walked in when they were done eating and have them dirty everything again.

They messed my sandwich up twice. It wasted 30 minutes of y day. The wood wase nasty. Ive never had more salt in my food before. I threw out more then half my food. The asked me what i wanted at least 12 times & still got it wrong. What a waste of time & $. This is my third time having bad service and second ime the food was not edible. I will never come back. You lost my business.

Great bagel spot when youre in a hurry and want something decently priced and filling.

Unfortunate that the bagels at Goldbergs in Ringwood continue to decline in quality. Received possibly the worst bagel ever recently. Have sworn to not return. The whole in the middle of these bagels are exceedingly large and exists to prop up the bagel button business. Too bad they are the only bagel place in town. No competition to have to make a quality bagel. Over the mountain to Oakland from now on.

They were great when they opened, but the service is now awful. They get the order wrong 8 times out of 10. Seriously, its a service business if you cant get that right then close up shop.

I went into the store yesterday, ordered and paid for a sandwich to be picked up at 6:50 this am. When I arrived the sandwich ( that I ordered for a sick friend) wasnt ready and they had to look for the order. This delay caused me to be late for a CAT scan

Bagels are average at best. Mostly a huge hole in the middle,not much bagel itself. Overratted. Go to Bagel Nosh on Ringwood Ave. Instead . They usually get something wrong or just an attitude feom the staff.
