OVERPRICED. This spot used to be an amazing store to browse, with reasonably priced nick nacks and furniture and sweet, welcoming staff members. Stuff would rotate much faster.NOW, the same old overpriced stuff stays for weeks, months. BORING! Whomever decided to hire new management a couple of years ago screwed up royally. They charge hundreds of $$$ for stuff they believe is antique or saw it on eBay. Very fiew things are reasonably priced or actual antiques. The dressing rooms have been closed for months since Covid. No returns, No refunds, No trying anything on or even holding it up to your body to see the length! EXTREMELY unhappy, rude and mean staff will follow you around and hound you if you try to. Who in their right mind wants to pay for overpriced second hand clothing that way? They go through stuff in the back outside and keep whatever is worth anything.Definitely needs to be audited. Non-profit? Hmmm. There are 3 WAY better and much more reasonable thrift stores down the road.My thrifting friends and I will stick to those from now on.
They had some really cool items, then I looked at the prices and I was blown away! It is as if they looked up the highest asking price on ebay and doubled it! The cause may be a good one but there is nothing thrifty about this store. It is very packed with goods and people were dropping items off. I just dont understand the inflated prices.
WAY overpriced. Some good finds and I always support buying things second-hand as it is more sustainable for the environment. However, it is no longer a money saver thanks to places like this, who get absolutely all their merchandise for free and charge them as if they are brand new. They also close way too early, as anyone who works a 9-5 will never be able to shop here.
These are all donated items they receive and they charge the moon for them. How much is really going to the organization? Very, very greedy organization. Way overpriced, if your a reseller - nothing here for you. I won’t ever donate to them again nor would I ever step into that place again. They should be ashamed of themselves. To Call this a thrift store ha, I’ve seen high end antique stores have better prices. Stay away not worth your time.
This is a great place to shop. Clean organized, lots of beautiful things and wonderful prices.. I was delighted that I went there.
Love this thrift store. Make a point to go every time I visit!
Great store . Awsome service, best price . Cant beat that, plus all kinds of things from furniture to electrical things like blenders, TV, games, mirrors, bed sheets, pilows shoes, snickers, shirts, books . You name it, they have it at a low price. And a kool place go go shopping.
I built a amazing relationship with the staff. People have the option to buy or not buy something they like. The fact is people try to get things for free or find a way to complain about prices. Do the same people go to the gas station and complain about gas prices going up? Any money you spend goes to a good cause. When people learn personality they also learn the things you shop for. With alittle patience you can find the things you look for or it is suggested by staff. They know me by name they know I respect the value of what I find. I also read on here about finding fake knock off purses this is the reason its looked up online I myself can spot a fake some cant this includes employees trying to match it right. Now usually if it is its marked low and out for cheap. You take a gamble in life and online is really putting out fake from sporting goods to purses you name it. Remember you have that option to learn the craftsmanship before you buy anything.
Alittle pricey on some items but has some pretty cool stuff and money goes to a good cause!
Wish I can give this place a negative review all the stuff this man gets stuff donated and he makes all profit from. The owner is a greedy greedy man I would not bring your stuff here or buy anything here, go down the block it has better deals.
The dressing rooms are closed but there is no returns on anything. I understand if you are covid conscious that you would like your dressing rooms closed; however, it is absolutely absurd that you cannot make returns or exchanges. I was not even allowed to put something over my head to try something on over my clothes to see if it fits. A women followed me and told me I cannot do that. I said this doesn’t make sense and she said we are very profitable and you dont have to buy here then. No worker was wearing a mask either so the mask mandate is lifted but you still cannot try anything on. Makes a lot of sense.
Ive donated many, many times here, thinking they were a non-profit and also believing that the prices were similar to other thrift stores. I finally went in to the store yesterday and YIKES! so expensive. Literally, framed, faded artwork (posters) listed at $50, $75. WHAT??? I was looking for a desk and chair and furniture prices were similar to new. Cant comment on clothing prices since I didnt browse them. I will look for another non-profit thrift store to donate to in the future.
They literally have shirts marked at $100 and that’s not an exaggeration. They get this all for free and are making extreme profits.
Make sure you mask up or you will nottt be permitted to ENTEr!
Nice for personal shopping but not so much if you are there as a resaler.
Was a great place to find deals not any more. Prices have tripled. I never understand why they sell donated goods. So sad. Greed Abounds
This thrift store thinks they are Tiffany’s. I haven’t been in this store for one year, I went in today and the same items from last year are still there - and still waaay overpriced. I didn’t see one person walk out buying a single item.
May not shop here the Prices are too high like if u were shopping on eBay they get the stuff for free to sell really high this is why I dont shop at thrift stores
Asked if they could hold a pig statue for 45 min to an hour said I would be back. Came back within the hour it was sold. Not the first time they’ve done this it’s all about who is willing to pay the highest price for at that time
Love this store almost every time I stop in there I find something friendly staff
Got a couple things for our new home. Great deals.
Best thrift store ever. But for Pete’s sake please stop using darn sharpie to price items.I find it very annoying to have to wipe off the ink on my purchased items. I recommend sticker prices.
I always find good quality items at a reasonable price here.
We loved it. The store itself is a bit tight, jammed with lots of treaures. As thrift store junkies were always on the hunt for a nice store and good scores. We found a whole bunch of great beach souvenirs at a fraction of the cost of a gift store. The prices were okay, a bit high on some things but super cheap on others.
Very unwelcoming Store owners. Very overpriced. I can go on eBay and find stuff cheaper. Upon checking out two items that were priced at $4 and $5 dollars he charged me $6 and $6 dollars and when I said something onlyChanged one item to the price it was suppose to be. For a place that gets stuff for free Im not sure why they are trying to take advantage.
If I could give this place a zero I would. Not really a thrift store. Tries to be an antique store. Dont know why people donate to this place. Its not a non-profit. And the jacked up prices are ridiculous.
Just visited in December 2018, the new floor plan is much better than before, really opens up the store. A nice variety of items, but the pricing practises here drive me nuts. I constantly find that items Im interested in buying either are not priced, or have the price written on the item permanently in sharpie. Pleaaaaasse get price tags and use them!!! I never buy anything thats defaced with sharpie or not priced, and thats several items of interest each visit.
Donations are supposed to be taken until 3pm but the last 3 times I went the grouchy old man had already put up the chain by 2:30. Threw my stuff back in my pickup and wound up dropping it off at a shop in Atlantic County. Place seems too centered on clothes and furniture these days. Many items are seriously overpriced. Dont understand why they close Sundays and why they cant stay open later at least one day a week. Most of us with jobs cant get there until later. I most likely wont be returning but it may help boost sales.
Whoever is running that store is way Over priced and they look up items online to price them.I can buy cheaper on eBay or other stores but I like to buy local too . I don’t understand why went everything they get is free,Cmon stop the over pricing you ARe NOT A Ebay store, ( REMEMBER. THIRD STORE ) means you get donations FREE stuff, so stop overpricingPeople can buy brand new at ROSS or Walmart and other store near YOU .
I have an entire mobile home full of furniture in Cape May that Id like to donate. I understand that theyll pick up the furniture up, too. Sounds great...but NO ONE picks up the phone when I call the thrift store in Rio Grande. I have called ALL HOURS of the day when they are open and always get a message - call back to speak to an associate to schedule a pick up donation. So, ARC....if youre reading this...PLEASE give me a contact that works!
I really like this store. It is a nice well-presented selection of decor items, clothes, linens, dishes, vases, knick knacks, etc. I found a beautiful large decorative ceramic tray for on $12. There are some seasonal Christmas dishes and Christmas linens as well that were fun/nice. Its more upscale than some thrift shops - a fun find. And the staff is very friendly and helpful.
The staff running the store were very helpful, but the stuff is seriously overpriced. Its like they look items up and price them for a 100% profit margin. There was an old PC projector that they priced around $75. Considering its age (no HD resolution or HDMI), it is worth $25 at most. If you are looking for good deals, then youre looking at the wrong place.
We come there a couple of times a year. We were just there and was disappointed. There are numerous people working there but In order to buy clothes you have to go through all the items, most people aren’t going to spend a lot of time going through them all. It doesn’t take that long to separate by size like they were before. I did feel other items were really over priced. Don’t know if I’ll be back
I love the Arc. You can find some great items here. They always have a large selection of living room and kitchen furniture as well as knick knacks. Great prices and all of the money is used for agood cause.
They sold me a real Michael Kors, which I resold for a profit, and they sold it for 8 dollars. They also sold me for 8 dollars, a fake Gucci. Thanks for nothing.
Great place ! And the staff there is always helpful... Always batteries to find something there add a very reasonable price...
This place is Awesome!! The staff is super friendly and very helpful - Great things and fair prices too ⭐👍💯 I never been in there and didnt find something I liked 🎁
Got a nice chair for 30 bucks Im happy
Way over priced. Even the wearable items have that dumpster smell that is difficult to remove. Tip: bring items to the front door to check for stains. The store lighting is horrible. Jewelry is overpriced by alot for a thrift store.
Its nice clean and good things.
Wonderful employees. Always willing to help. Great prices.
Great selection!!
Bought a nice walk clock. Excellent place for newlyweds with limited budget.
Ive found some great stuff here for very reasonable prices. Lots of stuff IS overpriced, but thats common for a lot of thrift stores.
You can get some.deals here like any.thitft store.its just in a good area
Our go to thrift store when visiting Wildwood. Great variety of furniture, clothes and gift items.
Good place to get great bargains
Friendly staff, well laid out. Some clothes seem a little high for thrift store.
Prices are very very high for a non-profit thrift store. Clothes are cheaper at Walmart.
Over priced and they look up items online to price them. Things unorganized and lots of old inventory.
Workers very helpful n nice
I bought a pair of Concord 11s WITH OG Box and all. Authentic as all hell!!! Final price.....$3.49!!!
Fantastic great finds today
Great Deals all day every day?
Friendly staff and my son got a discount - they work with prices :)
Very courteous staff.
Always visit when in wildwood on vacation
A little exspensive
Such a great store!
The place and the items were questionably clean and emanated unpleasant odors. Prices were somewhat inflated. Not really antique antiques were too expensive for their value. We paid taxes on already taxed items. The clothes were dirty and outdated. Still, we found a functional Sony branded clock radio at an affordable price.
