Not sure what’s happened this weekend but 2 days in a row our take out order was screwed up. I was the only person placing an order. I tried to call to tell them what happened and I got dumped to voicemail three times.I would have preferred to talk to them in person rather than leaving this review.I get back to my place and both of my sandwiches were wrong. I ordered 2 sandwiches Taylor ham and cheese with mustard I get home and the sandwiches are Taylor ham egg and cheese with mustard I can’t eat egg so I had to throw out the sandwiches. I paid $17 for two sandwiches And a coffee that we could not eat. All I would say just make sure you check your food before you leave. All summer long they were great now it’s the end of October and they can’t get two simple sandwiches right.

Finding the perfect bagel is a true gift and Avalon Coffee Co provides.The boiled NJ style bagel is a must grab while in town. Hidden within the crunchy exterior is a light and fluffy interior. We had the chocolate chip and blueberry, both delicious. They make their own cream cheeses, so we opted for the Cinnamon Walnut Raisin cream cheese. It was super light and they don’t skimp on the amount. I love a good bagel slathered with cream cheese! I mean look at this beauty!I look forward to trying more bagel and pastries they offer. The giant muffins almost swayed me to ditching the bagel, but I’m glad I stuck with it. Absolutely delicious.It’s a packed house, so expect to wait for your food. Worth the wait!

Loved the Sausage, Egg and Cheese Bagel sandwich, filled us up for good 3 -4 hour. Unfortunately due to shortage of staff we were not able to get any specialty drinks which was disappointing coz of it being a coffee place. We did love the regular coffee though. We hope we do get to try more from their menu on our next visit.

Had a bagel with egg, cheese and sausage. It was excellent, and the large blueberry muffin I saved for later was delicious. This was my first time stopping in. The service was friendly, and I will return.

Amazing food seriously. And let me tell you about those smoothies. The remedy? That frozen cup of sensual love could cure the type of hangover that comes waking up naked in the woods. Like the type that if you could find your phone you would call your own momma so that she could beat you to death for the mistakes you made the night before and put you out of your misery. This place was awesome 👏 We stopped by for the first time just to grab something to eat not realizing they closed at 3 and it was 3 and they told us to come in and they didn’t mind cooking for us. They cooked and cleaned and we got our food sat outside and it was amazing. The burger my son got was so flavorful and juicy. The fries were awesome, salad’s delicious 😋 coffee fresh even for 3 and the wraps me and my daughter got so good. Def worth the stop and will be going back!!!

Food was OK. The guy doing the cold side was awesome. The guys doing the hot side had bad attitudes. The wait was forever. We waited for at least an hour after we ordered our take out to get our food.

I also had a turkey sandwich today and it was excellent. Ive been a customer for a long time and the past year the food has been better than ever. Theyve added new things to the menu which Ive tried them all & their all very good.

Just had a great lunch experience here with my extended family! All enjoyed the portion sizes. The toasted crunch on the Avalon Burger Bun was a pleasant surprise. Tons of options to select from here. We are looking forward to come back and try the deserts. Stay alert in the parking lot for backing vehicles! Other shops present at the location.

The short, Armenian boy got my food out fast with it tasting good, despite a long line. The owner, besides being incredibly handsome and in my opinion sexy, was warm and welcoming. I’ll be coming back here for a long time!

Yep...from Seattle...coffee and treats easy to find there...so this place was just what a couple of travelers needed to get our fix on the other coast. Plus saw a cardinal sitting on a headstone in cemetery next door...Yep came for the birds!

Went for the fresh roasted coffee beans, ended up getting a couple cinnamon rolls as well, which were delicious. I got a pound of the Sumatra Manderling coffee which was very reasonably priced around $11. The coffee is very good, I really enjoyed it. The Sumatra roast makes an excellent cold brew, very good as a drip/pour over coffee as well. I dont live in South Jersey, so unfortunately I wont be able to stop in until next year, but I may have to order some beans online, whoever is doing the roasting over there really nailed it with this one!

Good coffee and good food with friendly service in a pleasant atmosphere.Covid measures made my shipmate and I feel comfortable having lunch out front.My friend got the salmon sandwich bagel and I ordered the salmon cream cheese bagel. Definitely spring for the sandwich. The difference in quality is worth the difference in price.In all a pleasant and appealing place I hope to visit again before long.

Avalon Bagel has been a staple of mine for many years. Enjoy the everything bagel toasted with vegetable cream cheese then add on lettuce, tomato, red onion & cucumber. However this morning they didn’t have cucumber. Maybe next time.

Seemed like I bothered the lady that took my order by phone, costumer service needs to be worked on, food was really good but shouldn’t feel like I’m bothering your employees when calling to place a order. How someone talks to any costumer that is spending their hard earned money to support your business can make or brake someone’s experience, funny I didn’t waste a second of her time because i knew what I wanted. Unsure if I’ll return again.

The food is great however inside needs some serious cleaning. The floors need to be swept and mopped. The ceiling and the dropped ceiling look disgusting probably due to neglect. The ceiling fan most likely has never been cleaned. Same goes to the bathroom. The vents are dusty all the way around. All in all I don’t think I will be stoping by anytime soon.

A wonderful spot for coffee, bagels, breakfast sandwiches. I cant wait to have lunch from here to see its the same great food. Very friendly service.

I grew up in NJ and this was by far the best breakfast sandwich I have ever had. My fiancé and I got bacon, egg and cheese sandwiches on scooped egg everything bagels. The cheese was warm and melty, bagels were soft and there was a healthy amount of meat on them. We live in Wildwood and this is now our new go to spot!

Went there for the first time a few weeks ago and the young lady that took our order wasnt very friendly at all. The person that i was with said they had to walk away because they were about to say something that wasnt nice. We got our food and left which was really good by the way. I attempted to go there again today and was waited on by a different employee again got the same unfriendly treatment. So instead of ordering I just left. I agree with another post on here that stated the employees appear as though they are being bothered.

I got my order very quickly. Its a convenient location and the coffee is really good.

You cant be preparing an order with gloves on, then answer the phone and enter it into the pc and not change your gloves, especially when other people answer the phone and enter orders with no gloves. That is what just happened . . . It is a cesspool of cross-contamination. Very disappointing because the bagels have been great in the past.

Omelette plates are huge. Supposedly a three egg omelette, was much larger than three eggs. Plates come with home fries, omelettes are two fillings and a meat, and toast. Cheese is 75 cents extra. The everything egg bagel is very good, nice chew, and the lox spread cream cheese is well studded with pieces of lox. The bagel with lox cream cheese is $4.50 as of September 2019, and two omelette plates with two large coffees was $20. Excellent value!

We went there for breakfast this morning and ordered 2 cinnamon raisin bagels ..not one hint of cinnamon and scarce raisins ..when I spoke to the manager about it he told me they cant add too much cinnamon because yeast wont rise.. so then how does the other bagel places have plenty of cinnamon.

Have been coming here for years. Excellent food and service. Just had the Whitefish on a toasted everything bagel with tomato and onion and it was delicious! Can get busy, especially during the summer but well worth the effort.

Solid place for a great breakfast. Well organized with seating inside and outside. The employees are friendly and helpful. The food is great! Try a Rio Wrap! They have a nice selection of very good bagels and cream cheeses as well as types of coffee and similar drinks (which you can assume from the name)!

I really liked my bagel sandwich with pork roll, egg and cheese. However, Joe got a bagel with cream cheese and we both got one drink and it seemed very expensive.

The people who work here have bad attitudes except for cooks!!! When you walk in no one acknowledges your presence at all ; no hi, how are you today, NOTHING!!!! Since the NEW owners took over the prices went up right away. It’s a joke! The quality of the food went down too! There is absolutely no respect when it comes to their paying customers (the people who are keeping this business afloat). It’s absolutely ridiculous. I have never encountered customer service employees and employers so rude. The only reason I gave 1 star is because I had to in order to write this review. I will never eat here again because- why would I want to give my money to an unfriendly business. Now don’t get me wrong I’m not the type of person who after 1 bad experience, gives out bad reviews, this is not the case, I have been coming here for years and always gave them the benefit of the doubt and this was the last straw.! The Avalon coffee company needs to review their employees if they want to continue keeping customers!😬😡

This place is great!!! Me and my cousin went for breakfast the everything bagel breakfast sandwich with bacon was amazing!!! My cousin loved the cinnamon walnut raisin cream cheese.

I had the everything bagel. I thought the bagels were fresh. Unfortunately, I thought the bagel was too large and had more of a kaiser roll consistency.

The staff is angry, they barely talk to the customers and when they do they have this why are you bothering me vibe demeanor that very unpleasant.

Bagel are wonderful. Watch when u get unsweetened tea. They dont clean the container regularly bc I has a off white film in my drink that only comes from not cleaning the right.

Great bagles and spreads, I grabbed a set for the office and everyone really enjoyed them.

Forgot to place half our order in the bag. Had to make a return trip from the crest and not so much as an apology or complimentary coffee. Bagels are ok but not worth the price. Customer service doesn’t exist. Get your breakfast somewhere else. Feedback is a gift, really hope they learn from this.
