This place has the worst customer service of any place Ive ever been. If you want to go to a good Firestone go to the one on Juan tabo at least their managers are much more friendly and congenial. The manager at this location has a real attitude especially for people who order services online. I will never ever go to this place again because I like staying in a good mood. So if you need tires do not go to this place!

Took my truck in for a front-end alignment. Days later my truck starts shaking and we cant figure out why. Took it to another shop to have it looked at underneath turns out that they did not even torque down what they had removed to begin with. I wish I could attach a video here because I definitely would showing how they loosened up a part and didnt bother to twerk it back down. Took it back to the store theyre denying any knowledge of it. I should have listened to my family and friends when they told me not to take my truck there because of the damage that was done to their vehicles from the specific store

Very helpful! I picked up a nail in my tire. The dealership couldnt see me for two weeks. Called Firestone and they said to bring my car in and they would take care of me. Now thats customer service!

After visiting the local landfill my tire pressure monitor indicated I was losing air in a tire. I pulled over located a nail and then quickly searched up the closest Firestone. Google search recommended the Firestone in Bernalillo.I called the store and spoke to Fred about my situation. He assured me that they would have me in and out in a reasonable time. I arrived at the store a few minutes later I disconnected the trailer that had previously been loaded with refuse for the landfill.Fred quickly got me checked in, a ticket made up on my car and into a bay for the tire repair. A few minutes later I recalled that I needed to have the oil changed as well and I asked Fred if he could add that to the ticket. He was quick, efficient and friendly; something hard to come by during Covid at businesses.In about an hour my vehicle had been fully inspected, my oil changed, and my tire repaired/balanced. I paid for my services and went outside to reattach my trailer. I was totally surprised to see that the technician had mounted the trailer to the hitch. Although I still needed to secure the trailer this was a nice touch!to Fred and your crew good job!

Came in needing a new tire after I had a flat the night before. Was on a long road trip and needed to get out fast — store manager Jeff had a new tire on in 30 minutes. Felt like a pit stop. Jeff is a rockstar you’re in great hands if you come to this location.

I scheduled an appointment days in advance hoping to not run into any issues. I dropped my truck off at 1 pm for a tire rotation and balance and alignment check prior to a road trip. By 630 my truck still wasnt touched and they were getting ready to start on it 30.mins prior to closing.

Made a 4:30 appt for a front end alignment. Walked in and said I had a appt for an alignment. The customer rep asked the other rep if they can do the alignment. The other rep says he has an appt, we have to do it. I knew there was going to be an issue. They said they were real busy today and I said no problem, no rush call me when your done. Two hours later I call back and ask if there done. The rep says sorry, there was someone before you can we keep the car overnight and do it tomorrow. I said no. There was no one before me. They just didn’t do it!!!

Took my 2017 Tundra in for front brakes and was told 199.00 a axle. They charged $341.00 to turn my front rotors and change the pads. They also told me I needed rear brakes and that my rotors would not be able to be turned and I need new rotors. I have a maintenance contract on the truck through power Ford so a week later I was in getting the oil changed they told me I didn’t need rear brakes but my rotors were able to be turned. I wouldn’t take anything to this fire stone they are definitely not truthful they rip people off and their work is mediocre at best

This Firestone location in Rio Rancho off southern is awesome. They are always friendly and knowledgeable. The explain everything very well and and as far as I can tell honest and always helpful. Next time your looking to have your vehicle worked on or need tires give them a try.

Mid road trip, during covid, I had a low tire and the psi on all the others were wonky. I called 2 other places and they wanted me to leave my vehicle (mid road trip) with them for several hours. I called and even though they were full up for the day and not taking any more vehicles, they still had me pop in and got me back on the road within half an hour! Absolutely wonderful! Thank you!

I will never bring my cars back to your establishment. Your techs bent my skid plate on my CRV and said I hit something. It was bent the wrong way and at a point that is under another connecting piece. I took it to Honda and they confirmed that that plate could not have been bent in that fashion and point by hitting something on the road. Not to mention I had not hit anything on the road and it was noticed directly after receiving the car back from an oil change. Your techs also said that my Nissan Truck needed a full replacement of my shocks, bushings, sway/control bars, the whole front end assembly. I work on cars. I know what a car requiring that type of repair fells like when being operated. I had Nissan double check since I am not ASE certified. The assembly is fine. Your techs wanted to replace it for 1800. I will not be returning and this is fraud and willful destruction.

I got to Rio rancho from Denver and my battery decided not to work. I called all around and it was over 300 for a new battery for my car and theyd have it done by Friday. I stopped at Firestone and it was half of that and they did it on the spot and I was back on the road in 30 minutes. Ill be coming here more!

My vehicle has always been taken very good care of and there customer service is excellent. I went in for a standard oil change. The accidentally switched my car with another. I expressed that I understand it happens. I did not expect anything out of it. I continued to wait and Ed came over to tell me there would be no charge for the service because of what happened. He was also very personable. I am very pleased and after several experiences with them I feel like I can trust them. Thank you!

Every time I try to come to get service done on the tires I purchased from them, they are too busy because they only have 1 tech. The waiting time is always an hour and a half even if you bringing the car in a 7am. Just needed a repair on my tire because it was going flat.I even tried the Firestone on Coors and the same thing. I had to take the car to Discount tire to get the work done. Terrible customer service Beware when purchasing from them you will not get the service to go along with the purchase.

So I came here yesterday cause my car had broken down due to the belt, the water compressor and my ac unit thing. They only charged me $10 to look at it, and it was my cheapest option, but Jessica was so kind to me and was so helpful, she is the greatest there and plus she helped me and my mom get credit there so I can pay every month, Jessica is amazing at her job, she’s professional and super sweet. What a horrible experience! First, I go online and set an appointment for an oil change. It was confirmed and set. I go in the next day and was told there was absolutely nothing listed in the computer! I was told that many people have come in, and there were no records of any appointments!T I was told that the only option available was drop off. So, I decided to leave. I was stopped and given a free oil change.. So, today I go, drop off my vehicle for the oil change. After 3 HOURS, I called to see the status, and after a long wait on the phone, I was told my vehicle was up on the rack. I asked if it would be another hour. I was assured that my vehicle wouldnt take that long. AN HOUR LATER, no call! When I called back, miraculously my vehicle was ready! When I arrive and go inside, I had to WAIT inside the quarantine lobby, while the front desk lady was having a conversation with another lady about HER HAIR!Obviously, Firestone doesnt care about its customers. From bottom to the top, it all seems like a lazy organization. I will now drive out of my way, to avoid frequenting Firestone - free oil change or not! I will also encourage my family and friends to do the same!

Great service. Quicker then expected to replace my tires. I was very happy with my experience and am now a new repeat customer. Ray was great to work with and I was treated long a long time customer on my very first visit. Ray was also very knowledgeable with the technical questions I had in addition to my tire service.

Incredibly unprofessional. Hostile. The first time I met Jeff Wohrlin I thought this guy was drinking on the job. This isnt the only complaint about him in these reviews.They cant do alignments properly. They will make excuses, including blaming your brand new tires, rather than do the honest work.EDIT - I went to a different Firestone across the city and was told by the alignment technician there that nobody had ever done it properly before.EDIT - I found out yesterday that they entirely messed up the outer tie rods on my alignment. They spun one 6 extea times in order to pull the toe in on one side. This was their lazy fix to get me to go away.Jeff Wohrlin needs to be investigated by Firestone corporate for alcohol abuse on the job.

My experience at Firestone on Southern is one Ill never forget. BEWARE! BEWARE, Rio Rancho residents. I took my vehicle into Firestone and was told, by Jeff, my alternator was giving out. I agreed to have it replaced, and two months later my vehicle left me stranded. Firestone replaced the starter instead of the alternator.

Unprofessional and never coming back. Manager didnt even attempt to help us even though his employees stripped out my wheel hubs. Cant own up to their own mistakes and just want your money. Never have done a good job in my own experience and everyone Ive heard from. Manager was very rude as well. Wont be back ever. And if you want the job done right I wouldnt recommend ever coming to this place.

Went to look at my car and the rude woman in the front watched and pointed at me thru the window acting like I was gonna drive off even tho I had already paid. Rude clientele, rude customer service, and long wait times. I’ve been a member for years and I’ve never felt more disgusted and dissatisfaction from a company. We were traveling back home to Texas when we started having an issue wit one of the tires on our truck. Doing a search on Google for front end alignment in Rio rancho revealed this place. I was able to make an appointment online for the next morning. When we arrived we were treated very professional and the work began promptly. Our truck needed an alignment and the tires rotated. The price was very reasonable and the work was completed quickly.

Horrible place. The general manager Jeff is lazy and rude. I had a coupon for my oil change and he refused to do my oil change trying to charge me double the price. I would tell everyone I know to NEVER EVER COME HERE

High price for tires but nice people

I was an ASE Certified mechanic for years, and this is the only place I would allow to touch my FJ Cruiser. They have friendly people working there, with knowledgeable technicians, who are honest and actually do the work. I always test a place first by playing dumb and pretending I know nothing about the car. I know whether or not something has been worked on with my vehicle because I worked on cars for a living for many years, and Firestone does what they say they do without taking me for everything Im worth. If you need an oil change, timing belt, new tires, or intricate electrical diagnostics, Firestone will do a good honest job, check them out, I recommend them.

They did my alignment right and even rotated and balanced my wheels and tires. Initial I thought my alignment was still off and they rechecked it and even swapped my front tires to try and diagnose the problem. They went above and beyond to make sure it was finet right. Highly recommend this location.

This auto store is awesome....I rolled in on a busy Friday, they fit me and then AMAZINGLY the office manager Ray actually drove me back to my house to allow me to get some work done from my house while they work in my car....what other car shop does that??? Truly Amazing! Leslie was also very helpful... Iverall great service.... been going to Firestone for several years now love it...

Firestone in my opinion is a great place for only oil changes and tires. For other issues I would get a different if not second opinion.

A family member wanted to go to Firestone, I told them that I had bad experiences at the Rio Rancho Shop. My most recent experience was after an oil change; before I left their lot I checked the dip stick and there was no oil. They filled it with oil and gave me a coupon for a free oil change. This could have resulted in severe engine damage had I not checked the oil level before driving off. My previous experience was a $600 strut replacement for a squeak when going over speed bumps. As I drove out of the parking lot the noise was still there. They recommended replacing other suspension components which would cost $800 or more, but could not guarantee it would stop the noise. I drove that car 4 more years and never had any problems with the suspension other than the $600 squeak they failed to fix. I did not go back or use the free oil change out of concern for damage or unnecessary repairs they might want to do. I wish Firestone was a good place to take my car and recommend. But, I see complaints all over the country. Firestone has nice equip, do a wide variety of services, have several bays, and lots of shops. I imagine that the cost of all these things cause them to cut corners or do extra work. I will post this on other review web sites so that Firestone can improve and their customers consider a second diagnosis from other auto shops.

Theyre good at fitting you in here for service and have better hours than most mechanic shops. I would only go to one of these places for their tires when they have a sale or for their lifetime alignment on a vehicle you plan on having for a while. They gouge you when you try to get anything else done here. 560 for an alternator is obscene. I would have done it myself for a 150 dillar part if I had the time.

Dropped off the truck to get the oil changed and tires rotated. They got it in and done in a couple of hours. Never have any issues with the quality of work and they dont hound to sell you windshield wipers or a new filter when you dont need it.

Quoted me almost $1,000 for a brake job. Granted it was 4 rotors and pads, but a brake job should never cost almost $1,000.00. Got a number of quotes from other, reputable places and Im getting OEM replacement for less than half Firestones quoted price. Tried to get me on their credit card before I could get out the door and get another quote and see how much they tried to gouge me. Ill never use them again for anything and would caution anyone else.

They lost my reservation and said it would take all day, then ten minutes later they found my reservation but it still took all day (from 8 a.m. to 6:30 p.m.). I asked them to address two issues. They charged $801 for brakes (way above average) and did not address my other issue at all. If you want to be treated poorly, spend way too much on brakes, and have it take all day, then Firestone Complete is the place for you. It will not be the place for me again.

A noise was coming from one of my wheels while I drove my car so I made an appointment for an estimate. When they called the following day I fully excepted to hear an expensive quote to have the problem fixed. Instead, the honest employee explained they already fixed the problem, free of charge! Took my truck in for a alignment. I bought the lifetime alignment service. Reason I took it was because steering wheel was not quite centered. They aligned it gave me the info and I went on my way. I asked before I left if they were able to get it straight and they said yes we drive them before we give it back. Well took it home and noticed right away wheel was still off center in fact it was no better. I called right away and they told me to bring it back the next day first thing 7am. Dropped it off and told them I needed it back by 10 am. he called me and told me they couldnt align it due to their machine had a broken part. They said they would call me when their equipment was fixed. I ended up going somewhere else since they never called me back. Sucks because this one is a few blocks from my house. Wont go back.

Took my Tahoe in to get times aligned and they tell me that I need tie rods. Have 84000 miles on the car. Got a price quote 575.00. Just to be sure I took it in to another tire shop a few weeks later the quoted me 275.00 and they took a look. Nothing wrong at all. Showed me and could tell everything was okay. In between that I took my truck in to get tires rotated and balanced. Surprise they did not do it either.

I have used this location for many services on many of my vehicles. The manager, Ray, is great!

Took it in on a scheduled appointment to get breaks checked. It was there ALL day and they hadnt touched it. At the end after my husband got mad then they looked at it. It wasnt what we thought and so we had to schedule another appointment for the next week. Took it a 2nd time and 5.5 hours later they hadnt even touched it. The store manager and service manager have no clue what the other does. The stores manager tends to get an attitude and comes across snippy. Definitely not impressed this far. I will say that the service manager was honest and said we did not need brake pads right now. Thats been the only positive thing. However well see if they find something else more expensive to fix.

Came in only for an alignment, that wasnt able to be done because of bad tie rod end on right front wheel. After leaving the shop my hood flew open luckily not at highway speeds, I am displeased that they didnt at least close the hood, looking at the tie rod and inspecting it theres no apparent slack or wear on the tie rod end joint. Dont take your car here I know I wont again sorry to say.

A tire was brought in at 9:00AM for a simple flat REPAIR. It takes no longer than 1/2 hour to REPAIR a screw in the tread. At 3:30 PM the tire was still not repaired. I called the manager and was told it was taking so long because it was a FREE warranty REPAIR and he had paying customers ahead of me. I guess the road hazard warranty I paid for was FREE.on the premises since

I went in to get an oil change, dropped off my car at 9, they called at about 12 and told me I needed brake service. I said to go ahead and do it, they told me they would have it done in a couple hours, I went over at 2 and not only had they not even started the brake service (they didnt even have the parts in stock which would have been fine if they had told me in the fist place) but they hadnt even finished my oil change... never coming back here

I took my care in a while back to get a diagnosis as to why it was not running, theh did a fine job and it was done on time. However, when i had told the manager that i did not have to money to get the repair there and i was going to have take it home and maybe search for a better price that I could afford, he became very rude with me, even going so far as to comment on how “The car has an ugly dent in the side of it.” Making me feel bad about the only car i could afford at the time to get me to work and school. I cant believe how i was treated. Although the work was done, I will never go back to a place that disrespects thier customers in that way.

Horrible Employees, need a four new tires and wheels, looking to spend a little over 2k on truck tires and wheels. Hours on Google say 7pm even the sign on the door states 7pm lost my money this is the second bad occasion with them. I feel bad for the owner hopefully he knows whats going on because with how it is now. it wont be generating much money if they treat customers that way. Until something changes I would recommend to stay away until there is a change in managment or front desk staff.

Dropped my truck off Saturday for an oil change and tire rotation was later told I needed a new battery since it wasn’t using all the cold crank amps. I was a little suspicious since my truck is less than 2 years old. It felt like a scam but opted to have it replaced since I didn’t want to risk being stranded.Went to pick up my truck and another customer was being told the same story for their vehicle. Not sure if it’s blatantly a scam and dishonest employees or a tech that needs better training, but wasn’t happy about spending 289.00 I didn’t need to

Very SLOW service! Always trying to soak you for no repairs you dont need. In for FREE tire pressure check and they tried to get me for a new tire sensor and tire break down and spin balancing. Told them they were full of s**t.

Well, I made an appointment to come in at 8:00 AM on 6/12/18 for air conditioner servicing. I arrived at 8:00 AM on 6/12 18 to check in and was asked if I could leave my car for several days because they were backed up. Well of course I cannot leave my car for several days. I was then asked if I would like to reschedule. Would you? What chance would I have that the same thing would occur.

Was told by the manager the tires i wanted mounted (205s) on a 15x10 was physically not possible. Went down the road yo KC Tire and a younger guy had them mounted in 20 minutes. Questionable skills and services.

Well my car was making noises so I took it in. Cost to check it out was $21.00 so after doing a complete check, they founf the front passenager tire flap had been burned through and was causing the noise. They ended up not even charging me. Good service
