Great quality. We worked with Robin at river edge store in Paramus NJ. She is exceptionally good at what she does. Our entire house looks beautiful. Elegant furniture. Service is excellent.Delivery guys were professional.We got so many compliments. We will always be loyal customers of Ethan Allen.
Customer service was unsatisfactory and disappointing. My issue was not addressed, followed up or resolved. Customer service never called backed after tech came to house to inspect and take report or followed up as promised. Once the furniture is purchased and delivered, the store is uninterested in resolving any concerning issues. Customer satisfaction is not their concern or interest.
We are so pleased with the Kyle wing chair that we bought from Ethan Allen! It is beautifully made, very comfortable, and has an updated, elegant look. Our entire experience with Ethan Allen was excellent. Anthony, the designer who worked with us, was great. He understood us and he understood what we were looking for. HIs suggestions were right on target. I felt we worked together like a team that had been in place for a long time . I highly recommend Ethan Allen.
For seven years now, I have been blessed with the service from Anthony at Ethan Allen in River Edge, NJ. He is the ultimate designer with phenomenal style. He takes his time with his clients. His suggestions are always spot on. I have never been disappointed with his ideas. He has helped me decorate two homes. I promise you, you wont be disappointed. Andthony and the quality of Ethan Allen merchandise go hand in hand.
River Edge NJ Ethan Allen store review is a zero. There is no customer service. All they believe in sell sell sell and their pocket. I had an issue personally after i placed my order for my bedroom set. I did not vocalize to the salesperson- my mistake. When i called for my appointment i asked Cheryl my salesperson (correct salesperson not designer b/c all they do is sell) if she offers coming to the home for decorating services. Her answer was yes. I made the appointment to see her in the store. As we are shopping for the bedroom sets other samples were shown which were displayed on the floor. We decided on one and placed order. I had to go home to measure to make sure what we were ordering would fit. I said this out loud that i would have to go home and come back and her coming out to our home was never mentioned. As we left the store i complained to my husband (not Cheryl - my mistake) that i was really disappointed that she didn’t offer to come to our home and give us other design options (as my sister in law received from the WATCHUNG NJ Ethan Allen store). After weeks of placing my order i had 2nd thoughts about my nightstands being too matchy matchy. I emailed Cheryl and she was able to switch them with something i preferred and found. Her comment was that is was a bette choice to switch them out (again me questioning why i went ahead with this order). Now comes delivery day of the headboard. It doesn’t fit up my staircase! They send a technician. The answer is that the headboard needs to be cut in 2 places and then will be reinforced, however i must sign off on a waiver to release them of the 5 year warranty. Well since i was unaware an issue would arise i wanted to cancel my order. Well if you speak with Andy you will get no where either since he supports his sales team! Does not care about his customers or clients. I do not recommend the River Edge store! They are all about the bottom line. I am forced to keep my order and only allowed to change my headboard. What if i don’t find anything to match the dresser that is not one you would choose as a single piece? Well I’m forced to keep it or i lose money! I don’t understand it…if i was allowed to switch out my nightstands why can’t i change my dresser if i go with another headboard? Oh b/c they lose money!! Forget about keeping a client happy for return purchases! Waiting for a call from another salesperson/designer to make an appointment to choose a new headboard. Not a new bedroom set according to Andy.

I have always dreamed of owning Ethan Allen furniture. Their reputation for fine quality furniture with customizable options was the driving force for making this purchase. I have seen some reviews citing price comparisons between Ethan Allen to lesser quality retailers. My grandmother used to say, “You get what you pay for”. One cannot compare to some other retail furniture stores, as the quality is top-notch at Ethan Allen. It is important to compare “apples to apples”. With cost as a factor, consumers have options. On a budget? Ethan Allen has various financing plans. The designer (Anthony) was so knowledgeable and spent a considerable amount of time ensuring that I had the perfect solution for my living room space. With perfection comes wait time. The furniture may take 12 weeks because it is customized. My grandmother also said, Good things come to those who wait”. The delivery was seamless and the entire process was easy. The furniture looks amazing and the workmanship is superb. I plan to purchase more pieces in the future from Ethan Allen. Thank you for a positive experience!

We had a wonderful experience. Anthony was very patient, easy going, and thorough. Our couch arrived 5 weeks early!!! Never had that happened!!! We love the quality and comfort and it is exactly as we envisioned!

Currently we are decorating our home in Long Island.Arlene Mcguire has been very helpful in picking out items.I know I can always get in touch with her via email or directly in showroom.Decorating long distance but being able to go to other showrooms has been great!Arlene has great taste and is helping me create a beautiful timeless Living Room!
My order was supposed to be delivered about a month ago.( I ordered them 6 months ago)They didn’t give me any notice that it was delayed before I called them.Furthermore I am still waiting for a chair....Thanks for my ugly living room for 6 months.

Great customer service from Katie / Kathie (?) in the customer service department for missing parts, lost in a move. She followed up with me, where OTHER Ethan Allen reps and stores didnt - for 2 years! Nice selection of high quality services, including in - home design visits.
The Furniture itself is not bad, good design, but their logistic is horrible, when they tell you something will be delivered in 6 weeks, be ready to wait over at least 12 weeks or 4 months.Thanks for making my home empty for 4 months.
Anthony was a true pro and pleasure to meet. We told him we were visiting from out of town and weren’t buying anything from the store but he treated us like vip customers and gave us great ideas for our home without even seeing it! He is a GEM and an asset to the store. Very helpful without even a hint of pushiness that you sometimes get from lesser furniture stores. Cannot speak highly enough of him!
Beautiful displays but limited stock available to see in person. Sales person was great once they found us but didn’t get help until we were almost done.
Damaged table that i have been chasing up to get fixed. The service person acknowledged the issue after visiting our home and promised to file for a replacement but there has been no action even after 3 weeks of chasing their customer service. Very disappointing. Not the Ethan Allen i have known and loved for their products and professionalism. Both have been subpar this time.
Could use some updating but otherwise a good store. More compartmentalized that other furniture stores so you get a roomy feel. But I think opening up the place and modernizing it would help.

I love the furniture in this store, and the store is always filled with beautiful furniture. It can be tricky to find the store from the street since NJ streets dont let you turn left. Make sure you use a GPS!
