I went here for the first time ever today. I will never shop anywhere else for bras ever again! Ella was so helpful and knowledgeable. She found me the perfect bra with out measuring on the second try! What a difference it makes when the sales people are professionals who know the product and are extremely helpful as well.
A very positive experience..Bella was so helpful in getting me fitted for bras and helping me pick out two tankinis for my upcoming trips. I highly recommend this shop to all women wanting to get the proper fitting and comfortable bra they want to wear
Woman who I assume is the owner, told my wife that she “ had to buy the bra there” after my wife tried it on. My wife wasn’t convinced that she wanted to buy it at a steep price of $95, and when she told the woman that she would think about it, the woman went berserk and told my wife that she charges a “ consultation fee” for people who decide not to buy right then and there. Well, she picked the wrong person because my wife told me “let’s go” and we proceeded to walk out, with the woman literally chasing us out into the parking lot yelling that she was going to call the police - what a whack job! Stay clear of this place! BTW, my wife found the same bra at Wacoal in Short Hills Mall for $30 less than that nut case was charging, with excellent customer service. Moral of the story…. always check reviews before going to a new place in today’s America.
Terrible ExperienceI like to support local businesses, which is part of the reason I went to this store. Unfortunately, the experience was beyond disappointing.1. Sales Associate: The person who helped us in the store seemed knowledgeable about the product lines, and the store has a big assortment; however, the sales person did not listen to my concerns and only offered me two choices of regular bras and one sports bra (despite the big selection). I expressed my doubts about the choices a few times, but was repeatedly, and frankly condescendingly, told that this was the best i would do. When I pushed to try just one more style, the sales person seemed irritated and impatient. Her attitude would have been understandable and even laudable if another customer was waiting, but I was the only person in the store at the time!2. Return Policy: While I felt rushed and somewhat uncomfortable with the sales person, I nevertheless trusted her expertise and ended up buying 2 bras at $80+ each. When I made the purchase, I had no reason not to expect that the store would stand by their expensive products and their sales people. The next day I tried the items with the time and freedom of being in my own home, and I noticed that one of the bras had rough fabric that irritated my skin when i moved my arms. I called the store to ask how many days i had to return this item. They said that all sales are final! They said there are signs in the store that state this; but they could not have been too prominently displayed because I didnt notice them, nor did the sales associate mention this during check out. I understand that panties are final sale, but havent seen that to be the case for unused bras with the tags on. At these prices, the store should want to see its customers satisfied. Frankly, unless you know precisely what bras you need, this return policy is reason enough to stay away from this store.3. Consultation Fee: I was disappointed and admittedly frustrated when i heard over the phone that I couldn’t return this item. But trying to think of some solution, I asked if i could exchange it for another item. Shockingly, she told me no because she was confident there wouldn’t be anything in the store that would work better. Given their selection -- and, you know, their business -- this was a pretty strange response!! But I let it go and asked if maybe i can exchange it for an item for my mother in law. They said no because that would be a new $55 consultation fee. Consultation fee? What consultation fee? This was the first time they mentioned that! Apparently I didn’t pay it in the store because I bought $200 worth of goods, but NO ONE told me in advance that if I tried a bra in the store I would owe them $55 and now, somehow, this fee was the reason I couldn’t exchange the bra I purchased for one in a different size for my mother-in-law. I literally couldnt make this stuff up if I tried.4. Pricing. The bra I purchased for $90 is available online for $70 from other retailers. I actually think this premium might be appropriate if there was good customer service but in fact, the item is returnable on amazon! So not only are you saving 20% online, but you are getting better service!I will never go back to this store, but I genuinely hope that the team takes these comments into consideration if they want to remain competitive in the market. I wish them luck and encourage anyone shopping there to think about these issues before purchasing.
I have a very badly broken back. I had a rod put in and then broke it again above and below the rod during a terrible boating accident. Loren mentioned that I might not being wearing the correct size and she was very correct. Not only did she put me in the correct size, she found bras that would work for me based on my shape and my circumstances. I’ve had my new bras now for almost a week and have noticed a huge improvement in my lower back pain and in my posture. Having a larger size chest I never knew that bras could be comfortable. Loren I can never thank you enough....I had to take two flights the other day and had an hour layover in between and I noticed such a difference in the way my back felt. Wish you could fix the problems I have from the other broken bones I got in the accident but decreasing my back pain is a huge improvement.
Had a great experience today at WOB! The sales associate took so much time with me and educated me on the different sizes and shapes! I did not feel rushed or pressured to purchase anything I did not want. I purchased 4 bras and felt so confident leaving with one on! Thank you for the great experience- I’ll be back!
I would have given the store a higher review if it werent for the one saleswoman that was quite nasty and told me as soon as I walked in that they could not fit me unless I had the dress with me, which of course, I did not have because it was at Bijou Bridal. Then the saleslady went on about how they charge a consultation service because they cannot waste their time on someone that is not going to make a purchase. The only reason I remained was because the other 2 sales ladies were very kind. The store should strongly consider getting rid of that saleslady with the bad attitude. Customer service is important in sales and although she understands proper fitting of undergarments, the nastiness and poor customer service is enough for me not to recommend anyone to that store. In fact, when I return to Bijou Bridal, I will let them know about my experience as well since they strongly recommended that I went there.

Was patient and I ended up purchasing 4 bras, a nightgown, beach cover up etc. I loved that they had such a large selection (wish they had more robes though) and that they were so helpful. I have shopped here before and it has always been a good experience. Beats the department stores where they generally do not have knowledgeable salespeople nor do they have such a good selection of bras (sizes and styles)!
I am a plus size bride to be, as well as 55 yrs old, and needed the right undergarment for my gown. The staff at WOB was fantastic!! I was not uncomfortable and they didnt make me feel bad about myself - ladies you know what i mean. They also have bathing suits which fit your bra size. I will go back here for sure. Thanks to all at WOB.
This was the worst experience I have ever had in a store in my LIFE. I drove 30 minutes from where I live to get here. I went into this store looking for a 24 dollar spanx thong. After trying on I notice the tag was double the price of what I saw all over online. I simply asked why and got a NASTY response about how because I asked I now am required to pay a 55 dollar fee for shopping online and wasting their time and inquiring about pricing. Then heard rants about retail and their investment in their merchandise and being a smaller store gives them reason to somehow double the price. A simple nice explanation might have done the job. Reminder- I simply asked why I.T was more. Throwing a fee at me and a nasty attitude sure doesn’t help the retail business. Client relationships do which are not found online. I wound up completing this purchase - supporting this store was painful and it deserves to shut down. I worked in retail myself and doubling retail pricing isn’t the answer to saving retail. Neither is nastiness.
The staff was incredibly helpful and knowledgeable. If you have an unusual size or are just looking for a bra that actually fits, they have over 50,000 brass!!!!

The staff was pleasant. I have been going there for 10 yrs & will continue to. Was there in May of 2017 spent 675.00+ Went yesterday was looking was TOLD take your time as I was wrapping things up I was told we close in ten minutes you know. As I dropped another 645.00.
I went to WOB last year before my sons wedding and within 5 minutes, the salesperson found the best bra I have ever owned. It turned out I am a weird size and before WOB, I was entertaining every other size in the world and never feeling happy or even comfortable in my clothes. I need to go back for another fitting because the company has discontinued that style. I have total faith that I will walk out feeling great!
I had a very positive experience at W.O.B. Lingerie. I was visiting from out-of-state. I felt the sales lady (who was about 50+ years old) was very helpful and found me the correct sized bra which I didnt have when I walked in. No one pushed me into buying anything. I bought only one bra to ensure that it really was the correct sized bra for me before I purchased any more and I was very happy with the purchase. Yes, it did cost more but in weeks before I had purchased 4 cheaper bras at another store that didnt fit correctly & I couldnt wear them. I would go back again toW.O.B. Lingerie and buy more bras in the future.

Whenever I go my experience is consistent from the moment you walk in its a comfortable and welcoming environment, sensitive to your needs and always a proper fit..Im sorry for the negative reviews I have read but it doesnt sound like.WOB:/In fact today my sister asked me where she could go for good bras as well as variety so I highly.recommended WOB. I came on the site to send my sister their link and was surprised to see some negative reviews, this is when I decided to share my experience. Thank you!
Was assured I was now using the correct bra size, tell that to my underboob and the bulge from the top of it.I have to adjust every few minutes. Of course this being now that I wear the bra for longer than 2 minutes like in the store.Great selection tho.
My sister, who was recently diagnosed with breast cancer, just visited this store to see if she could exchange some bras which were purchased prior to her recent diagnosis. The manager couldnt have been less compassionate or less empathetic. She was rude, abrasive, and obnoxious and told my sister everyone has something wrong. Really????? Needless to say, neither I or my sister or anyone we know will be shopping at any of these locations and we will be making sure that everyone we know spreads the word to avoid all locations of WOB. Sorry I had to give them one star but that was the lowest I could go.
NEGATIVE STARS! I purchased an over priced bra for my wedding dress. I brought the dress with me to make sure that the bra would be compatible because of the stores final sale policy. After trying a few bras I went with a bustier that looked nice under the dress. 2 days later I put it back on when I went for my dress alterations. The bones in the bustier were so week that they began to protrude out! I contacted the store because it is impossible to wear this bra due to the poor quality. They refused to discuss the situation with me and only repeated that it was a final sale. So I now have a $139 piece of garbage. Do not trust the quality of the merchandise while you are in the store as it will most likely hold up for at least 10 minutes and then its true form will make you wish you never even heard of this place! DO NOT GO!!!

Huge selection of not just bras and underwear but swimsuits (all year!), cover ups, & sleepwear as well. The braologists determine your size and bring everything to you in the fitting room. Its also a great store if you need a specialty item for a dress that wont work with a regular or strapless bra. If they make it, WOB will have it.

Im sorry to say that this store will not be my go to store. The sales associate insisted that the bra I was trying on was the correct size. I kept politely trying to explain the way it was fitting was too baggy. She called in another associate, they insisted that the bra I was wearing fit fine (a 42DD). Ummmm tape measure anyone? I decided to travel to a store on Bloomfield Ave. in Montclair.The sales associate nailed it on the first try (without a tape measure) Im a 36G. The bra fit perfectly!Not only was she accurate she was extremely nice, their prices were reasonable. Id rather travel an extra 30 minutes and save the time trying on multiple bras for better customer service.

Very upset $100+ bra broke after only a few months - I purchased 2 bras a couple of weeks before my wedding which was October 1st. It has only been a few months later and the underwire on my bra broke while I was out in public. It scraped my skin under my breast and was very upsetting. I decided to call the store and had very unpleasant customer service. I was hoping to receive a new bra or at the slightest a discount since the bra was over $100 but all they could say was that they have no responsibility for the bra once it leaves the store. Ive never heard of a company not being behind the products they sell and DO NOT RECOMMEND anyone wasting their time or $ in this store.
I called the store to let them know about my 3 bras that all broke . I got the owner on the phone, she was pleasant until I told her about what was wrong with my bras. she then proceeded to tell me that it was my fault because I wash them in the washing machine on gentle cycle and because I hand wash them and hang them up . I said but they all broke in the same place and in the same way and she refused to even entertain the thought of looking up my purchase., which she said she can’t do because she keeps no records of her sales which is bizarre in itself. I told her that I’ve had similar bras from Lord and Taylor that have never broken before and she told me to call them then instead of her which is also Bizarre. Then she hung up on me !When I called her back to confirm she hung up on me she said yes because she was busy then I told her that I can now see why there are so many negative reviews on her website especially since there are other women who have the same issue that I do and she refuses to address the issue .She then called me a pig and a liar and hung up on me again . I’m still in shock at the name calling . Do not go to this store ladies . The owner is unprofessional and rude and does not stand by the product she sells ! * Actually found my receipt. They are not even 8 months old. Response from owner below is a lie. Told her I hand wash and that I had more than three bras. Even asked if I could bring them in so she can see they are in good condition and that the wire broke on each one. She wasnt interested. Also after my horrible experience I went to her website and saw the other reviews and called her back to say I understand why she has a 3.0 rating and told her I was going to add to it since she was so rude. She said go ahead I will write one about you and then she called me a pig. I am reporting her to the BBB and calling Wacoal as well.👍🏻Follow up to my review . I called Wacoal headquarters and told them about my experience and sent them my receipt from this store and the bras. They sent me a letter assuring me these should have been replaced by this store owner and sent me three brand new bras. Can’t say enough about their customer service. What a wonderful experience . If you want their contact info let me know . final warning about the World of Bras, Ladies do not go to his store. They do not honor the most basic problems with your bras. The owner is a disgrace to what once seemed to be a go to place in the past.

We had no luck buying bras here. They advertise that they have hard to find sizes in stock but really they only had a few. When we asked to try no wire bras the old lady said we would have to stop being so picky. At one point the old lady and the young sales person were giggling at my mother in the fitting room while I watched them. We left extremely frustrated and went to their other location hoping they would be more helpful. No. They dont carry bras over a 48DDD. Why advertise what you clearly cannot deliver?!
Staff was not helpful and rude. Was told to go check out macys. Was hoping to get sized and find a properly sized bra. Money was no object.

ALERT TO POTENTIAL CUSTOMERS: BEWARE! I went into WOB in River Edge this morning to buy a few bras. After trying one on, I decided to not buy anything, and they wanted to charge me a $45. Fitting Fee. Although there are 2 signs in the store that indicate this fitting fee, they are poorly displayed and not pointed out to me prior trying anything on. When I tried to leave the store after refusing to pay this fitting fee, one of the owners followed me to my car calling me a thief and a scumbag and took a picture of my license plate and subsequently the same day filed a report against me with the River Edge Police.

Feh! I really dont like this store! I recently went for a second time, although I dont know why since my first trip I bought a bad bathing suit. Full disclosure...I am a large person. I have been waiting to have gastric bypass surgery which was postponed for insurance and personal reasons. I have not bought a lot of new clothes over the last year. But I really needed new bras. WOB advertises that they have a huge range of sizes, but they had very few bras in my (outrageous?) size of 46. The salesperson is pushy in a very sneaky way and I found myself buying 2 bras. One is ok. The other snapped the second time I wore it. I know they will not take it back, and I am going to contact Chantelle to inform them how this store cajoled me into buying a product that was not really my size and then has a no exchange policy.I feel like an idiot, and an ugly and fat one at that. Dont shop there. Their prices are not even competitive.
