This Ulta store is always clean and well-stocked. Ive ordered for pickup several times here and its always ready quickly! A few days ago I went in to get a concealer match. My skin tone is very tricky - Sidney was extremely helpful and very patient in trying to find a match for me! I was very happy with the product. Staff in general has always been very polite and kind, and it seems like they enjoy their jobs. I love coming to this location and will continue to do so for all my beauty needs.
Why is no one at this location answering the phone? Ive been calling the number listed for them on google for 3 days now trying to get through to someone to book an appointment and no one is answering. I even called Ultas 1-800 customer service number to make sure I was calling the right number and they said I am. They also called them to see if they could get through and they couldnt either.

I went to this store to make a change with a product that did not work on my hair and the staff was very understanding with me, they recommended another product, the truth is they are very kind, I would give them 10 stars, thank you very much.
Erica was my eyebrow tech. She did a tint and a wax. Very first time having the service. I should have posted a before and after. My eyebrows are thin and need some sculpting. She did a great job. They should last 2 to 4 weeks.
This Ulta always has the best selection of goods available compared to other locations. The staff are great and very helpful!

And when I asked her about foundation she referred to me to some cheap a** products. I made an order online to pick up in the River Forest store. Then I had to cancel an order. The first time I called to cancel a pick up order one associate was nice enough to do it- no problem! Now today, I tried to call an associate and asked her to cancel an order. This female is talking about she don’t know how to cancel an order and the manager doesn’t know how to do it! So all of a sudden they don’t know how to cancel an order and it’s not letting me canceling online or in the app?!? You know what? River Forest Ulta is a hot mess and I’m not coming back! They really need to get it together!!!
I’m very happy that this is the closest Ulta to me. Everyone inside is super friendly and welcoming. Who really made my visit special was cashier Yasmine! Yasmine was so nice and understanding when I mentioned that my birthday was put incorrectly in the rewards system and that this month is actually my birthday. Although she couldn’t change it she was nice enough to give me some birthday samples. She was so kind when she explained to me that she could not change it in her system and still had me leaving out of the store super satisfied. I also appreciate the seriousness this store is taking in disinfecting after every customer. Good job Yasmine and Ulta! :)

Extremely bad customer service experience! I was rudely asked not to take a picture of product. I was sending this image to an individual who is unable to physically get to those store. There was no empathy or appropriate customer service skills exhibited in this interaction. I was told the reason for no photos was for theft, no other retail beauty competitor has this policy. This is a huge miss for Ulta and will impact their business long term.
Horrible service I asked for help and the lady didn’t even want to help me I ask her to come help me look for something and she asked me twice with what until I told her can you please come so you can help me !
This Ulta has great customer service & they are very clean they wipe down the counter after every single transaction & hand sanitizer throughout the store (: The store is in a plaza so its super convenient if you have to do any other shopping. Theres a Whole foods, Trader Joes, Target & walgreens all right next to eachother and Panera, TGIF if you get hungry. Plenty of parking.
The brow service is not the best especially for the price. Went in she cleaned my brow a bit but was not well defined the way I liked it. I asked for her to fix it and she said it was fine. So much for customer service. I will be heading back to my usual brow salon. Thank you, next !
I always have to search around to find an associate when I need help. Some associates will avoid you like the plague, I have had this occur on multiple visits at this location. I think they should try to be friendlier and more helpful to their guests.
Walked in today around 7:00 pm. The store was not crowded. Not once was I asked if I needed help, offered a bag or greeted by the ladies working makeup. They were too busy doing who knows what. I’ve been to better ulta locations, but sadly it’s the closest one to me.

Great selection, easy parking (free!), knowledgeable staff, and is right next to a giant Whole Foods and Panera (and DSW and Loft, if you’re in a shopping mood!).
The store is always clean and tidy, even during the holidays. I love the hairdressers they have employed, they do a great job and are always helpful. I look forward to my haircuts!
Waited 10 minutes for the brow bar employees to even acknowledge me and get them to take a break from doing each others makeup. They were rude and never even looked at me. They continued doing each others makeup to tell me there were no openings. I wanted to make this my new spot but will definitely not come back.

Get my hair done here. Love my time with my stylist Nina. Shes very personal with my hair and knows how I like to wear it. The store itself is fine, usually clean. Sometimes there are more associates on the floor than needed. They can be helpful but they can also act like they dont see you looking for something, let alone coming through the door, so that hello welcome to Ulta is non existent. Stuff like that i just brush off cuz I know how to find a mgr if I really dont like the service Im receiving.
Beauty heaven. Variety in brands and prices. Cosmetics, grooming tools, perfume, etc..Best part: lots of help and no sales pressure. I feel so great going here even for one item, and have been happy with every purchase.

I LOVE ULTA! But Im not a big fan of this location. I have an obsession with their free gifts with purchases, its how I try most products so I know if they are actually worth springing for the full size. This location is CONSTANTLY out of most of these. And I mean I have been a regular at this location about 3 years, and rarely go to other locations just because of the convenience of this one. Its been this way all 3 years, and the attitude of associates here has just gone from not too great to just horrific. I mean Im asking myself often why I spend so much money at this place. And yet I do in spite of the disappointment, and rude comments by associates. I kind of feel worse about myself for continuing to give a place like this so much money..... 😟
I wanted to spend some money here on a Saturday afternoon on organic skin care products. No worker was in that department. I tried to approach a lady with an ear piece, assuming she was a worker, not knowing she was a manager. She seemed more preoccupied with her employees stealing than she was concerned about a customer wanting to spend money on products. I asked if anyone was working in the skin care department. She said no and walked away. So I walked out. I will head back to the Ulta in the city on Roosevelt. The employees there displayed amazing customer service.

Its a well-kept Ulta. Staff is friendly, and their Stylist Monica is the best. She always makes me look and feel good, and suggests all the right products for my hair. I wont let anyone else touch my hair.
Love Ulta but not this location. Its a small store with really tight aisles. Its difficult to look when more than one person is in the same area. They are frequently out if stock, especially on the Ulta line of lipsticks, shadows, etc. Whenever they have a promotional free gift on something they are also always out of that too, even when you arrive first thing in the morning on the day it is to start. Many times Ive walked out without making a purchase. Been visiting Sephora more or I go to a different Ulta location.
I usually have a pretty decent experience here. The selection is decent and the employees are friendly and helpful. The employees sometimes help me and end up trying makeups on me that do NOT look good, despite their opinion to the contrary, and they do not always have all colors in stock, which is a bummer.

They don’t even deserve a star. I went there and I was happy because it wasnt busy. I thought that I would get good customer service because the workers wasn’t busy. I came in and not even one person asked me if I needed help. They were actually trying to avoid making eye contact with me so they don’t need to assist me and they can chat among themselves. I am very disappointed that there were workers there and did not even try to help me. They made me feel UNWELCOME. The RUDEST AND WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER! I will never come back to this store! I HAD BETTER EXPERIENCE AT OTHER ULTA.

They have the worst service Ive ever seen. The workers stood around talking while letting the inexperienced worker help everyone. They never offered assistance. When I asked for help, they pointed to the direction of the items & continued talking. Only one cashier working even after there were 6 people in line. The cashier was rude with an attitude. I asked for help & she ignored me. Talked over me. I return the item I had just purchased. I will never spend my money on this place.
Barely there hair color and cut wasn’t even layered..So I went there for for beauty day for myself get a hair cut color my hair lighter and get a facial. It is my first time trying out Ulta for this services. Booking was a little challenging because you have to browse for the schedule availability of the stylists you want price is also included it’s helpful that you have rough estimate of your costs. Oh btw not sire bit this branch they never made follow up to remind me of my appointment which I’m surprised most salons do. I booked online to grab a discount for beauty service for first time customers.The salon area was organized and clean staff who did my hair was ok I wasn’t really impressed with my hair outcome like I said I got a barely there hair color.. plus I wanted to get bangs but stylist suggested not to since it’s summer which makes sense I expected layers for my hair instead it was just plain straight cut just flat.. moving forward with my facial I loved my facial service my face felt hydrated and cleaned plus she gave me a coupon for discount which was super awesome!!! Also the manager assisted me when I asked to get the 20% for hair service since I set the appointment because of that advertisement. Maybe I’ll comeback for facials but I’ll try other Ulta shops.

Rudest customer service of any place I have ever shopped. I wanted to exchange a Christmas gift that I knew I would never use, but I definitely did not want to hurt the feelings of the person who was kind enough to give me the gift. Instead, the cashier credits the account of the person who gave me the gift. When I asked why I couldnt exchange or get a credit as the gift had a gift receipt, the manager tells me sorry, but the transaction is done. She then has the nerve to say that honesty is the best policy, and that I should have told the person that I didnt like the gift. Really? So now I get free unsolicited advice from a Dr. Phil wannabe. I should have raised a ruckus, because this was handled so poorly. Instead, I vowed to never again shop here. So rude!
I came into the store to buy the Led light for gel polish and found it with an associates help. I asked her does it really work because it was one of the cheaper Led light brands (Red Carpet Gel Polish Pro Kit) I guess I got what I paid for because it does a poor job at drying my gel polish. I wouldnt recommend this product.
The staff here is always so warm and welcoming, helpful and professional. The store is clean and easy to navigate through.

I came in to kill time. This was my first time and last time in their store. No beauty representative could help me find foundation but could follow me around the store like I was a thief. When I asked about the HAUS Laboratory line, the lady became rude and I could not comprehend why. If our community would come together and stop spending our money with business who don’t respect us things would change.

If I could give this location less than one star, I would. Nobody on the floor. Out of every product I went for. Employees could not have been less helpful and the store was filthy and unorganized. And a ton of displays with what looked like old, used products. Never again, Ulta....never again. Sephora is SO much better than you in every aspect.

Really need to work on customer service. We called ahead for a specific shade of nail polish my wife wanted. They said it was at the counter waiting for us. We arrived 20 minutes later and they didnt have it and had no idea where it was put. I was sent to the back to find it and another customer helped me. As I walked back to the front, one of the clerks was finally on her way back to find it and just said you good? and that was it. Not really what I look for in customer service.
Good inventory and always friendly staff make this a nice Ulta to visit.
Store is on the smaller side, but I usually find what Im looking to purchase. More importantly, hair stylist, Vince keeps my hair looking great. I ALWAYS get stopped after my blow outs with questions about who does my hair.

For my 1st time applying for a credit card, the cashier who put in my credit application flopped my opportunity to buy a 140.00 perfume joy, due to putting the wrong information to an old address, i looked like an idiot getting turned around and out the door because of her mistake and even sofia the manager told me to call her credit card dept, which i cant even change or stop which is rediculous, now my card and information is in my old address and i waited in line in front of 12 others and finally when it was my turn the two employees, manager and regular associate cashier send me off w nothing but ridicule and humiliation, leaving w nothing and bad 1st experience, no credit dept help, w my information w wrong address, and corporate also avoids u, i tried that, they dont care.. i got screwed..someone else is going to get my ulta card and probably wrongfully use it...worse experience..so much for my wifes valentine gift. Thanks for nothing ulta on lake and harlem, look out for these characters, its only a job to them.
If I could five them 0 stars, I would. I spend a lot of money at various Ultas and the Oak Park location. was the worse experience I have ever had. The cashier was rude and the employees in the store acted like I was bothering them when I asked a question. I will NEVER shop at this location ever again. Maybe they should get training from Sephora employees, who are very helpful!

Its ulta so they have great beauty products. Hence the 3 stars (meets expectations). If you want your makeup done make a appoinment at the beauty bar for $35. Unlike sephora you can not get your make up done by paying for >$50 in products unless you make an appointment at MAC or Lancome; however, they are not organized in regard to appointments and even if you have an appointment it might not be honored. So if you want your makeup done outside of the beauty bar... go to sephora.

Beauty retailer offering a huge variety of beauty products for both men and women (hair, skin, nails, etc). The only thing is they are a little over priced. You can find some of the more basic products at places like Walmart for a lot less. The only thing I really go here for is their perfumes/colognes. If I cant find what Im looking for at Marshalls or TJ Maxx, I go here instead of Macys or any other major department store.

This is the closest Ulta to me and I would rather go to an Ulta location an hour away or another beauty store. The customer service by far is the worst, it never fails. As soon as I walk in, I pass a few employees, not one says hello. When I am looking for a product I always find that there are a few employees talking among themselves. None of which will acknowledge you or ask to help. Even on my way out they never bother to even say goodbye. Also, if they happen to acknowledge you, they will point out where the product is located and have no interest showing anything else. This is very dissapointing and every time I walk in here, I remind myself not to come back or reccomend this location to my collegues or friends.
