Busy place. It’s by appointments through brokers. You will see that it says no trucks on great lakes. You have to continue south to quality drive and turn left to go southeast and then another left to head northeast back up to great lakes and turn right.

Its one of the oldest shipyards in Detroit. Still operates and has expanded its business. Proud to know the owner.

If your loading there prepare to wait. They dont get in any hurry. Took 3 hrs and only 2 trucks were in front if us

Pretty quick to load a flatbed. Lunch hours are 11:30-12:30

From a dock worker stand point I bet its great. From a drivers perspective its aweful.

When working at Nicholson docks Mrs Wade in mind and Ecorse and Detroit Docs Ecorse Michigan nicest place to be at for fishing and have fun have a great lakes steel plant and he course docks where I work and be safe with all my fellow co-workers

Not open to the public due to it being a steel mill.
