Been coming here for the best meat in Riverbank! The Family run business has been a huge asset to the community. Besides the freshest meat in town, they have a excellent taqueria as well. Love the shrimp and asada burrito!! So good!

Been shopping here for almost 30 years. Great selection for a smaller store and have good quality meats and condiments. Open every day of the year. Spanish and English spoken fluently here and all are welcome. Short order kitchen serves great hot food as well.

Been coming to this store most every week for 30+ years now. The same family has owned and run it for the whole time Ive know about it. They always have what I want at a reasonable price. The little taco shop inside the store has some of the best Mexican fast food Ive ever had. Its a neat little local store that has managed to survive and thrive even in these recent hard times. If you want authentic mexican carneceria then you should give this place a try. And although I always try to speak my pidgeon Spanish while ordering, the staff can speak fluent English when I get tongue twisted and cant get out what I want to say.

I was talking to the manager of this place, expressing to her that one of the products that I bought to eat came out born or MOLD.While I was explaining, she hung up on me and did not have the respect to return my call.This place has a professional ethics problem, they forget customer service, they believe that because they sell a product, one must go where they are. On the block is Garcias Márquez where I have never had a problem and from now on I will continue to be your client since in this place they dont appreciate it.They reminded me of places in Latin America where they believe that one buys out of necessity and not because they give great customer service.To avoid and have to deal with people who do not have a little professional ethics. Better never again use their services I advise you to avoid getting frustrated with the staff of La Chiquita Carniceria visiting the store on the block with the best reputation as Garcias Marquez.

Meat tasty, soft, fresh, butchers recommend how to cook meat and what meat to use, deli very tasty.The only thing that makes me not give 5 stars is that the place is already small for the clientele.
