Love David Harkins. He was such an amazing person to assist me for my mothers day gift she was extremely pleased. So much so, that she currently bought a mattress from him prior to moving to AZ. Want Quality, Amazing customer service go to Harkins Family Mattress see David. BTW he sells furniture indoor & outdoor.

Loved this place. But we had to close!

My issue with Harkins Family Mattress is their return policy, or lack there of. I usually never order furniture I haven’t seen in person but upon delivery I intended on ensuring what their return policy was. I’ve never heard of any legitimate store with a no-refund no-exchange policy. All sales final are usually reserved for sales and this was an ordinary purchase. I will give the benefit of the doubt that there was a miscommunication and nothing malicious, as David stated he explained if there are warranty issues they would help and my husband just misheard/misunderstood. Again, I usually always get everything in writing and much more vigilant - so buyer beware. They were an hour late in delivery but considering we agreed to purchase the patio sectional that very morning it’s understandable, they were also very apologetic. The communication between David and I has been professional so there are no issues there. However, as for the furniture itself I’d give it zero stars. We’ve purchased patio furniture that requires assembly before but the panels for the particular sectional we chose are even more flimsy than you’d expect of a “cheaper” patio sectional. There is a defect in the back of one pieces (which is basically a hole because the pattern wasn’t cut properly) and while we have the 90 day manufacturer’s warranty I feel its so much trouble for furniture that will probably only last about 6 months, if that. To say I’m disappointed and as a customer not satisfied is an understatement. We wasted our hard earned money on a bad product and now we’re stuck with it. To add salt to the wound I was debating between two sellers, one being Harkins - to purchase the same item. I chose Harkins because we like to support locally owned small businesses. However, I really regret that decision because if I went with the other seller I would have been able to exchange it. When I asked to exchange the set for a higher quality one and pay the difference David explained all his sets are made with the same material, they have no higher quality sets. Lastly, after I wrote the above review and posted it on FB, David had the gall to blatantly lie and say my husband opened and inspected the boxes in front of him, which has zero truth to it! I wouldn’t recommend buying anything from Harkin’s Family Mattress, especially the patio furniture!
