Great Furniture Deal has amazing customer service on top of great prices and inventory! I ordered a desk on a flash sale back in May. Due to COVID, shipping overseas was taking longer than normal. I canceled the order and thought I could find it elsewhere. I COULD NOT! Literally nowhere else in the world! As I already had the hutch for this desk, it was imperative that I had THIS DESK. This place was great! They were able to get me a mattress that is been searching for and couldn’t find. It was $200 cheaper than the only other place I was able to locate one. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and informative. There was a small hiccup as to the date the mattress was being delivered, but they followed up a few times and everything went smoothly. I honestly thought customer service was dead and gone until this. I’ll definitely be giving them my business in the future!

I just completed my second purchase from GFD. I found a dining table for $1000 less than on Wayfair. Theyre a small shop so can be a bit slow to respond, but they strive to make it right. One of my items was damaged during shipping, but they sorted it out with the shipping company even before it was delivered. Barbara in customer service is very helpful. Will buy again!

I really can’t complain. It was the best price available anywhere. The sofa is beautiful and in pristine condition. The delivery men were polite and helpful. Communication from the moment of purchase was frequent and thorough and the furniture was delivered in about three weeks.

Awesome Company and excellent customer service!I had purchased an entire living room set from a local high end furniture store going out of business. After about a month decided I needed to add the swivel chair. Got the name of the manufacturer off the existing furniture, called around to every major furniture store and no one could order it for me. Then did a Google search, Great Furniture Deal appeared with a picture of the chair. I threw it in my cart & checked out. Within 45 minutes received a call confirming order with details & timeline of shipping, backed up with an email!! When delivery date came, Barbara from customer service was so proactive.She emailed and called me about how the delivery process would work & to check for damage. The chair showed up on time and beautiful! I am so grateful to Great Furniture for their awesome service in their excellent customer service!
If you value your time and money and want to receive what you paid for, then do NOT do business with this company. Not only did we have to miss over one week of work to keep being available for the delivery that kept getting delayed and/or canceled, but then the furniture arrived damaged. It was coated in a residue, had nicks on it, did not fully function, etc. We were forced to deal with Barbara for the delivery issues and damages and, as other reviewers have attested, she simply does not care about whether you receive good service or what you paid for. She told us that she would refund the delivery costs and did not. We placed the order last October and still have damaged furniture at home with no resolution. Now that I have seen the other negative reviews, I realize that we are just one of many to whom they have done this. We took the steps to mark the damages on the delivery sheet (per their policy), so the poor service is not just to those whom they can bully by saying, You should have noted it on the delivery sheet (which other reviewers mentioned). Our purchase totaled several thousand dollars, so there is apparently no purchase, large or small, that they value enough to provide good service. I have made other large purchases from other companies in the last 1-36 months and I have never experienced these issues. We have, for example, ordered from Ashley Furniture and Coleman Furniture and have had no issues. I would gladly have paid several hundred more dollars to not deal with this company. Any savings you think you see when price comparing is truly not worth working with this company. I am, by nature, a very fair person and I will gladly update this review if we ever receive the delivery refund we were promised, replacement furniture or reasonable compensation for the damaged furniture. But, as a buyer, do you want repaired furniture that comes with a hassle or new, undamaged furniture?

I ordered a bedroom set from GreatFurnitureDeal in May. I spoke with Barbara who let me know it would be a few weeks to process and ship the order to our new home. They processed the order quickly and it was shipped within a few weeks. Due to COVID the delivery company took a few weeks longer than expected and had some issues delivering the furniture. Barbara called me every time she had an update on our order and was extremely helpful with getting the delivery company on track. She was also able to help us with some minor damages that happened during delivery, which was great. Barbara is by far one best customer service agents I’ve ever worked with and is truly an asset to the company. We will definitely use GreatFurnitureDeal in the future. My gorgeous, white, modern curio cabinet arrived and it met all of my expectations for quality, appearance and assembly. It was so easy to assemble and you dont need any tools other than the Allen wrench it came with. It takes two people and it took my son and I only 40 minutes to assemble it. You will love it! My family and friends are in awe, as am I, for showcasing such a beautiful piece of furniture.

I am leery to use online companies to make big purchases, sight unseen, but I really wanted these chairs- “Southern Motion Fame” power lift leather chairs. Great Furniture Deal’s price made it worth the gamble. I had ordered leather samples so I knew exactly what I wanted. I had nothing but a pleasant experience dealing with the sales person. The chairs arrived when promised and were carefully set up, verifying everything worked and no blemishes (I paid for the white glove service) and the boxes were hauled away. We’ve had them a month and couldn’t be happier. I would definitely order from Great Furniture Deals again and would confidently refer friends and family.
The company is not endorsed by the Better Business Bureau, and its rating with BBB is an F, which should tell you something. Im submitting my complaint with the BBC, now, as well as filing in small claims court.I am unable to respond to the companys response, so I am posting a new review in order to respond. I have been waiting for a reply from Barbara to the email I sent yesterday stating we would not accept a $300 settlement for a useless sofa. However, THE COMPANY has cut off further communication.Furthermore, I called Barbara immediately after receiving the damaged furniture. The PACKAGING was not at all damaged. The deliveryman was in a hurry and left before we opened the boxes. Since we knew that no damage had occurred to the boxes, we thought that was fine.Now we have to pursue the matter in small claims court, which is a hassle. I strongly discourage anyone from ordering from this company. The sheer amount of similar complaints theyve received is testimony to the type of business this is.

I ordered the nightstands on 9/20/19 and paid in full, up front $3,200.00. I get a phone call several weeks later when I am expecting them from someone at Great Furniture Deal saying they will take another 4 weeks and I was nice and said thats ok. I then waited and got a call saying it will be another two weeks to get to my house. Then I got a call saying it was going to be another week after that. They get here and both nightstands were wrapped in black plastic around card board that was broken, torn, dented and taped in all directions to be held together. When removing some of the card board the one night stand was split open entirely through on one side from top to bottom. The other nightstand had the molding coming off where it had been glued back on on the right side. You could see the glue. I follow the instructions Barbara with customer service gave me via email and phone call to take photos, document on the delivery slip the damage and to not accept the damaged merchandise. I told her I wanted my money back. She told me she would file a claim, that I did everything I was supposed to do. I then get an email from her stating CFC is shipping out new nightstands, completely ignoring my request for my refund. I called her and told her I was not happy with this situation. She said you would have the company expedite the nightstands. Now I get an email from her saying they will take another 7 weeks from the last delivery date to get the nightstands. I have waited a long time. Great Furniture Deal has had my money for months now. I have company coming in for the holidays and no furniture now on either side of the bed in the guest room. I am not happy with the quality and service with this transaction/business deal. It is not fair to me. I have been more than patient and accommodating from the beginning.

BUYER BEWARE!!!! Ordered a custom made lay flat chair because I am paralyzed and sleep in a recliner. This company promised me a sleeper chair but apparently a lay flat and sleeper are not the same. Now I have a $2500 chair that I an unable to sleep in and customer service told me there was nothing that could be done.
Horrible experience. We ordered a faux leather sofa set. The sofa arrived terribly damaged. The company will not replace it and is only offering a $300 settlement on an unusable $1700 sofa.

It has been over a month and we still do not have our third piece delivered. After many emails and calls, they claim there is no one above the claims manager to speak with. Beware of horrible costumer service! Jess in sales extension 404 was rude and unhelpful from the second I called. She said it was my fault for not seeing an email sent to my spam, she said she did not need to be helping me locate my order because it was within their time frame. she basically turned every sentence and request around blaming me. She laughed when I asked if she had a manager and said she ran her entire department and basically said good luck trying to get answers over her head!

The customer service is horrible. These people act like it is an inconvenience to them when you call in to check on your order. I spent my hard earned money with these guys and they never call to give you an update, the shipping tracking site doesnt give me any insight as to where my package is and they were late in getting me log in information to their site to check on my order.When you are buying furniture online think 2x before dealing with these guys. P.S. The females who answer the phone in reference to customer service are rude and non caring. They are in the wrong field and would be better off working for LAPD or NYPD.

I bought a TV stand from them. When the package arrived, it looked great, so I signed for it. When I opened the package, though, there was quite a bit of damage. I presume the package was likely dropped at some point, but there was no evidence of damage on the outside of the package. I contacted them, and after a LONG time, they finally told me that since I didnt report package damage on the shipping slip when the driver delivered it, even though the package HAD no outward signs of damage, that they werent going to do anything about it. I ultimately filed a claim through paypal, and finally, after months with dealing with this, paypal has refunded my money. AVOID these folks at all costs.
