First off the owner Cody was super nice and seemed knowledgeable in what he does. We originally needed rollers put back on and garage hung back on correctly because it wouldnt close. He told me over the phone it would be $40-$50 for a half hour of work (which he thought it would take which ended up accurate) and other companies will charge you $110 for an hour no matter how long it takes. Then I asked about the service call and he said that would be waived if we had repair done. After repairing it he told my husband it would be $70 (which includes a service call which I was told was waived). Then he told him about nylon rollers and that upgrading them makes it quieter and they last longer (which the noise is a minimal difference). The nylon rollers for the parts are no more then $20 for all of them and we were charged another $80 on top of the $70. From reading more it looks like the steel ones last longer they are just louder so I dont think it mattered if they were replaced. Seemed like would be the best deal over the phone. For sure, bad on our part to not research more or question more, but definitely feel misled and overcharged (especially for how cheap the same parts are and I dont feel like were necessary).
