Great people to deal with

So I have been contacting this place for almost an entire year to get my window repaired. When I first contacted them the lady Ray that answers the phone tells me that my realtor paid to have the window fixed. After calling for 10 months consecutively I finally get the owner of the company gym to come out and measure my windows. He tells me that is never been paid for and that I’m gonna need to pay for it. I get him in contact with my realtor. They gave me a price of $489 to replace one Window!! That is glass for the top in the bottom of one window!! I just replaced an entire window not just the glass for my bathroom and it was $152. Needless to say I will not be using this company he will not be getting my hard-earned money and I would advise you to not give him your hard-earned money either. He made the Comment that he does advance auto and several other companies so it’s safe to assume he’s charging me their prices. Completely insane!! Good luck if you decide to use this gentleman‘s company.

Supposed to give my brother an estimate on fixing a few windows, called said they would be by and never called and never showed up.

We took the frame for our Travel Trailer in to have a replacement piece installed. When my husband went to pick it up he told them that it was not cut right and was too much play in the window. We left it for 4 more days called and was told nothing was wrong with it. We had to pay the money to get our window back before a trip the ends a scratched too short to fit snuggly and the frame has a spot that must jave been put in a vice and now its scratched and has sharp places. I have pictures of the shoddy workmanship.

The pricing is not done honestly. I got two quotes for windows from Economy Glass, first one was $4,000 when I called then when my contractor called he also got the quote for $4,000-$4500. However after they came out to plan when they would do it they saw that it was on a nicer home than they expected and said they would need to re-do the quote. I told them I was on a budget and would go with the cheapest possible quote, the man replied shoot you have a car in the garage that could pay for all this which took me off guard that he would make that comment. Then came back with his new quote of $8200 for the job. I of course said no then got another company to do it which cost $4,200. So I would definitely shop around because this company obviously bases their quotes off what they think you can afford not off what it actually cost

The staff is very friendly but a little snow in job completion. I also think they are a little expensive. But I guess thats too be expected when dealing with a local mom and pop shop.

Economy Glass was hired to replace an existing framed glass shower enclosure with an unframed all glass shower enclosure. They mis-measured the area and ordered glass based on those inaccurate measurements. When installed the new glass shower does not keep the water from escaping from the shower. In addition, the installation was botched because several tiles were cracked as a result of using a pneumatic drill. After installation the owner of the company said he was unhappy with the way it turned out. He indicated his willingness to fix the issue. After numerous phone calls and visits to the home to remeasure the glass, he has now refused to fix it. Economy Glass has been paid one-half of the cost for the job. The other half was to be paid upon satisfactory completion. Those funds are being withheld and Economy Glass has indicated that we received a $1600 shower enclosure for half price indicating that they have no plans to complete the job. Therefore, they will not receive the remaining portion of the funds. We are attempting to find another contractor to fix the botched shower job and repair the broken tiles.

If there was a -0 review rating,i would click it. Ray(sp) said she ordered a replacement glass for my wood stove door in Nov., its now Jan. 20,2020 no glass. Yes, she said it would take a while but I doubt if it was ordered. I heat with wood, spend alot of time cutting, splitting, stacking and I cant use the wood stove because of no glass. This business has dropped the ball. According to other reviews, Im not the only person unhappy with this business. I dont review on emotion, but service. Support local? Do ur job!

Contacted Jim Washam to do a turn key job of a door replacement. I paid him half upfront and after several weeks of no contact or any update on the status of the project he finally did finish the job. the door looked great but he left the inside completely unfinished and told me that he was done and that was responsible for finishing. He then proceeded to demand the rest of his money. I told him that the door needed to be trimmed Properly before I could pay for it he then returned and re-trimmed the inside of the door and then without waiting for approval charged my account the remainder of the amount due before the job could even be inspected or approved. This combined with his foul language and attitude makes me wonder how they stay in business.

Do not waste your time with this place. Tried to get a piece of glass cut. I was told by the women up front it would be done by the end of the day the day I took it. Called the next day at lunch time and talked to Jim the manager and was told it wasnt done but theyd get on it right after lunch. I never heard anything went to go get it later that day and the lady up front said that they havent even started on it and itd be an hour or so before theyd have it done. Wow what a JOKE. Dont waste your time!!!

This company doesnt even deserve a 1 star rating. My order was forgotten and after a week of me waiting for my item I called and was told it was ready and would have a call back with pricing in about 5 minutes. An hour and half later I called and got Brandon who was very rude and passed me off to someone else who cursed me and hung up on me 3 times. When I finally got a call back 4 days later from Ray in the office she informs me she doesnt believe me and that her techs were good guys and would never lie to her or curse me. I was told to come and pickup my unfinished product and couldnt speak to the owner!

These folks rock! Rhae answered the phone when I was calling around for pricing. All of the other companies I called, simply gave me a quote, but Rhae took the time to explain just how they cut the glass and smooth the edges, etc. She was very professional and kind.Their prices were better than their competitors, and when I showed up to take delivery of my glass, Jim Washam (the proprietor) helped me out to my car with my glass and made sure that he carefully placed it into my car to ensure that it would make it home safely!I highly recommend these folks! You will not be disappointed!
