This is a great place to shop for all your pool needs. Building a pool this is the place. Everything you need is at your disposal. I have been buying from National Pools for the last 5 years and staff is always courteous and extremely helpful. You bring your water sample and theyll give you a print out for all necessary chemicals. I was not an expert in keeping the pool but now with their help I am a novice and can hold my own. They help keep the fun in running a pool. I highly recommend National Pools as the one stop place for anything dealing with pools. Of course everyone has a right to choose where to buy.

Zero service. Went in last week for assistance with our new hot tub. We moved into the area and the house has a hot tub. Since we are not familiar with the operation or controlling water quality we went to National for assistance. The person told us she would have their service person call us and come out to help. No call for a week. When I called back she said “I don’t know how this fell through the cracks.” She assured me he would call us in the morning. No call this morning prior to noon. Tried to call again and went through their ridiculous automated phone system only to be sent to the general mail box. Did this twice before I called the other two companies in Roanoke that are listed on google. Guess what, they answered their phones. They were very helpful and even offered assistance today! We walked into Waterworks today and had two people school us on proper usage. They graciously spent 40 minutes with us even as they assisted other customers in a busy store. They were awesome. National you lost a customer, but I guess you’re too busy to even care.

I called National Pools to ask them to come open my mother-in-laws pool. This is after she had called them several times. The person answering the phone said that she would have someone call me. I called twice with no reply. Very unprofessional and horrible customer service.

I just wanted to take a moment and provide feedback of our Kamado Joe grill delivery last Friday in Moneta. Your guys were Outstanding! They kept us informed of the delivery time and were right on time at our lake home. Once on site, they assisted in setting up the grill and made this task much easier. They were very professional and a pleasure to work with. Please pass on my sincere thanks.

Patio furniture: Allison was helpful and knowledgeable. She made the effort to explain why we should buy from them and not from Lowes. Pointed out the warranty, how to maintain, and pricing. She made the effort to move furniture around to show us different scenarios according to our patio area. She arranged delivery from Roanoke to Martinsville. Explained their people would not leave until furniture arranged to our liking and adjusted to our comfort. She added us to their email list. Just an observation: were there on Friday about 3:00: all female staff at that time and, of many customers, my husband was the only male.

Very helpful and courteous staff, very nice people. Stuff there is a bit pricey in the chemicals and accessories area but its a specialty store and they are the only show in town. One note: Sat morning is the only time you can go there if you work M-F. I was surpised that they close early on Saturdays and completely close on Sundays during pool opening season. dont show up Sat at 3 to get water tested and buy some chemicals like I did or youlll drive away cursing..like I did. haha
