The AR1 Ultra Soft mattress set is just dreamy! It is soft and yet very supportive too. So happy I am not sleeping on a bunch of chemicals!Kevin was great to deal with. Very knowlegable, friendly, and responsive!

Sleep Essentials helped us correct issues keeping my Mom from getting any sleep at all without being upset during the experience most of the time. The representatives from Sleep Essential were incredibly patient with me, as I had already made a few mistakes when I then, found Sleep Essentials. So, we got the right adjustable bed for my Mom, to include the right height (get the right legs), right mattress, and right type of sheets to keep wrinkles at a minimum. My husband and I are over the road team semi drivers. Sleep is so important, but ours is usually done while the other is driving. I bought Sleep Essentials for 2 reasons: My standard style mattress broke down within 2 years and had a ridiculous dip in the middle. The local furniture store would not honor the warranty because the backside of a manufacture tag left an ink stain on the side of the mattress! They said I could have the mattress cleaned and then they would honor it!! Second, I like my mattress being chemical free! I had continual lower back and neck issues. Once I got my Sleep Essentials mattress those issues went away! Also, waking up with headaches went away! I never realized sleeping on a standard style mattress (even with pillow tops) played such a role in my issues. They were easy to work with and very patient as I asked numerous questions. While it might cost a tad more, it was very well worth the purchase. My brother purchased one for my mother who has complained of back pain all her life. Her back has improved tremendously!

Had been looking for Months to find a great mattress. We found it with Sleep Essentials in Roanoke, VA. We live in IL spoke with the gentleman at the store several times and finally made a decision. The mattress came probably and my husband and I put it together.(it was heavy but easy if you have muscles) I will never go back to a traditional mattress again.

My husband and I made two trips to try out Sleep Essentials mattresses. I had researched latex mattresses and knew that they were the real deal. Kevin was patient, informative. Our order arrived quickly. I immediately slept better than I had in decades due to spine injuries after mva and surgery. After about three weeks I felt the mattress needed a little adjusting. I spoke with Kevin, he asked me questions, made suggestions, and sent out another mattress layer to meet my needs. No hesitation. It is like sleeping on a cloud. Previously, I had not been able to get to sleep without tossing and turning for hours and would waken after a couple hours and in pain. NOW I am sleep in minutes, sleep for a full 8 hours and am not in pain upon waking. Even my husband is amazed and grateful as am I. Sleep essentials is a godsend. Do not hesitate to buy this sleep system.

Once ordered, the mattress arrived very quickly and easy to set up. The video that Sleep Essentials provided was very informative.I ordered the pillow and it was backorder so it took awhile to get to me. The mattress has been great. The most comfortable that we have ever had. We purchased two singles, so my husband and I would have individual mattresses and adjustable beds. So, put together, it makes a king size. We love the bed and both get a great nights sleep . The staff at the store answered all our questions and were great to work with.

Awesome product and Awesome service!I started off just wanting to replace my pillows. It was impossible to find a regular pillow that was comfortable and would last more than a few months. In my search I stumbled upon Sleep Essentials and ended up purchasing the GOLS Latex pillow. I slept on the pillow and was hooked instantly. I couldnt believe how comfortable the pillow was. I was in the market for a new mattress, and if the pillow was that great I began to wonder how great a mattress would be.I spent MONTHS researching different mattress types and brands. I purchased this mattress because I had lower back pain. Believe me when I say I woke up with less pain and more flexibility. It contour to your body. I have know Lee Carter personally and professional for many years. I have bought several mattresses from him through Sleep Essentials. I also have referred many of my patients to Sleep Essentials. The feedback I have received has always been positive. He sells a superior product which is chemical free and he stands behind what he sells.

We looked for quite a while and read lots of material because we had just spent money on a mattress that had the foam in it. It had dents within 6 months. Listened to Sleep Essentials discussion of the advantages of the latex mattresses. We have had it for over a year and it has 0 dents. It still sleeps the way it did from the start. The only downside to the mattress is it is floppy should you try to move it. But for sleeping, we are more than pleased.

Most importantly, Lees videos are thorough, easy to understand and advocate for consumers. But beyond that, Lee is in the USA & we are in Australia. Though there was never a chance of a sale, he answered questions for us and helped us make our decision. Anyone needing information on beds and mattresses will find valuable information on his YouTube cannel and anyone fortunate enough to live near his shops can confidently purchase from him knowing that they will be guided towards the best product for their circumstances and wont be ripped off.

Lee and his videos have been an amazing resource to debilitating health issues my wife sustained from an over abundance of fire retardants on our mattress which contributed to a hyper response to her already over active immune system. We had the bed for 6 months and it’s been amazing. It’s hard to find a mattress that my husband can sleep comfortably in. Most mattresses give him back pains eventually but this one has been a back saver.

It’s a nice mattress, I have a king size. I recommend getting a split king so you can flip around the layers to suit your comfort range. I got the 9” 3 layer bed. I think a 4th layer is necessary if you’re around 220lbs or over. I added a 4th 3” latex topper. My 125lb lady loves it. It’s only been about a yr. time will tell how it holds up.

I bought a natural mattress from a local company, it cam wrapped in wool and was a bit firm. And even though Ive never been allergic to wool, I could not sleep on our new bed and had allergies every time I came in the room. We unwrapped the mattress to find 2 layers of latex under the wool. I called the Sleep Essentials showroom and they were so helpful. I explained our situation and they recommended a soft top layer and new cover. We received it and are so happy! Sleep Essentials basically transformed our new mattress into something comfortable we can now use! It was also surprisingly easy to set up as well. Lee,Just wanted to say how much my wife and I are loving the AR-1 split queen mattress and adjustable base we purchased from you about 7 months ago. The mattress is unbelievably comfortable! Despite it being the least popular, we are so glad we chose the arrangement recommendation-1 (AR-1). We were a little apprehensive at first because we were ordering it online and unable to try it first. Your videos explaining the various arrangement recommendations were very helpful! It made deciding on the arrangement much easier and gave us more confidence when choosing online.Based on our body weight, which was below 150lbs for each of us, the AR-1 was a no-brainer since we were leaning towards a softer mattress. I don’t know why the AR-1 is the least popular? It feels so much different from your typical mattress you would purchase at a typical mattress store. It has a unique feel that you just can’t find any where else. Additionally, it’s chemical free organic latex which will last a lifetime.Lastly, we just wanted to share how much we love the S-Cape adjustable base we purchased with the mattress. I would highly recommend the Perfection Mattress that Lee Carter sells at Sleep Essentials. Since purchasing it there is a tremendous difference in how I am sleeping. It is very comfortable and well worth the money - which is actually cheaper than a lot of traditional mattresses. One of the best features of this mattress is that there are no chemicals added for fire resistance. After sleeping on traditional mattresses with the added chemicals, my thyroid stopped working properly and every morning I would wake up with a terribly stuffy nose. The thyroid problem cant be corrected, but the breathing issues have stopped. Lee is extremely knowledable and truly listened to me. He and his product have greatly exceeded my expectations. I rate Sleep Essentials as a 10 out of 10! Watch Lees educational videos and go see him to get a CHEMICAL FREE mattress. Dont spend another night rolling in toxic, dangerous chemicals. This Perfection mattress is the best mattress I have slept on, bar none. I love the fact that it is free of the fire-retardant chemicals found in other mattresses, and the latex rubber will last for years. Its great to know that Ill never need to buy another mattress!The latex rubber is supportive and comfortable, and it maintains a comfortable temperature, unlike other types of foam that tend to make me hot. It also doesnt have the memory feature, which I have found to be annoying.The service at Sleep Essentials is exceptional, and owner Lee Carter is both helpful and knowledgeable. I cant recommend Sleep Essentials and the Perfection Mattresses highly enough.

We are VERY happy with the mattress and pillow that we bought for our young son. Around the age of three, he started having intermittent (3 - 4 times a month) and mysterious bouts of vomiting in the mornings after he got up. It wasnt like the flu, because he didnt have a fever, and he was usually completely recovered by early afternoon. But it was still troubling. It wasnt until he slept on an air mattress at a friends house (when he was 5 or so) and got very sick the next morning, that we put two and two together and realized that perhaps he had some kind of allergy to whatever chemicals were in the air mattress, and those chemicals were making him sick. We realized that the mornings that he had been throwing up at home were the same mornings that we found him asleep on his carpeted floor. So we told him to stop falling asleep on the floor and sleep in his bed. But the problem persisted, and we realized that this time around, when he woke up sick, it was because he had slept with his face right on the mattress. So his own mattress had similar chemicals, too! But it took us a while to figure out that one, too! Needless to say, finding Sleep Essentials was a godsend! The 100% latex mattress we bought for our son has completely ended this problem for him. And we recently bought the 100% latex pillow to replace his old cotton one (that had not given him trouble, and had fallen apart). The only time he has had a recurrence of this problem is when he slept with his bathrobe on, and lo and behold, his bathrobe is made with flame-retardant fleece. So thats been thrown out, too! Its very scary to think that all the chemicals in the old mattress were doing that to him. Hopefully there has been no long-term damage to his health. The mattress has probably saved him in more ways than one. So, thank you, Lee! He loves that mattress, and is so pleased with his pillow, too.

I searched for over 3 months and then found Lee’s YouTube reviews and watched all of them. With his honest and detailed education, I bought a split king latex with prodigy 2.0 or the L&P 700 as MattressFirm calls it. It’s been over a year and my wife and I are extremely happy with our sleep essential purchase. Thanks Lee. Also, Lee answered the phone when I called and took care of us through the entire purchase.

Be prepared to pay and pay and pay. I bought these because I didnt want to keep replacing my wonderful 3 foam mattress toppers every 4 years but please know that there is NO refund, NO exchange or trade, NO guarantee. The sales person will ask your weight, height, and sleeping pattern/issues then he will tell you which mattress pads you need to build your bed. Its pretty much a craps shoot on whether you will be comfortable or not. Your money is gone before you even hang up the phone when you order. If you are not satisfied too bad. Your only recourse is to KEEP BUYING more mattresses (actually individual toppers) until you are comfortable. They do only charge you 1/2 price for these substitutes though but then you are stuck with $450 original toppers that are useless. During your first call they only tell you there is no refund but tell you you can swap out the toppers . I took this to mean exchange or trade but they are very careful NOT to use those two words because swap to them means you BUY others and swap them out on your bed. I originally bought 4 toppers, 3 to make a bed and 1 as a soft topper for our RV. All was too firm even though I bought the soft ones. The second call to the store resulted in the above info that was never mentioned in the first call. I chose to purchased the ULTRA SOFT topper so all is not lost to replace the soft RV topper and I dont know if there was an error or what but its even harder than the first one. I had to put my old 3 foam topper on the new bed so our shoulders and hips wouldnt hurt otherwise its too hard but Im done paying them more money. I will just have to keep buying new foam toppers when they wear out. These purchases were a complete waste of $2,225.00 for us but to be fair what you are getting for your money is the durability of latex and no chemicals (thats a biggy). My issue isnt so much the product as it is this companys policies. Only a couple companies make latex mattresss and all the sellers buy from the same makers. They are the same exact mattresss. Buy from a company that has better return policies. Incidentally, you dont need a prescription for these as stated in the video because they are sold and invoiced as individual toppers. If you want to assemble them into one mattress thats on you.

90 days now and we are still so unhappy with this bed that I feel as though I need to leave a bad review to alert any future potential customers of this place. I feel like I need a hip replacement now because this bed is so hard, and I bought the softest one they sell!!!! After a few nights of trying to sleep on this brick, I went by and asked Mr Lee what if anything could be done about it, whereupon he told me that I had bought it and it was Like returning underwear!! Well, I have never spent $3153.00 on a pair of underwear before, but I do know what customer service is, and this guy is great at B.S.ing you until he gets your money...then its You picked it! I told him, I do tattoos for a living. If someone came in and was not happy with a tattoo I did, I would make it right He asked me to leave! I should have suspected . There was a couple in the same day as we were that were complaining that they must have gotten the wrong topper because their bed was so hard....I wish I would have walked away from this place right then.

Night 2 on a 12 - Perfection 16 mattress and Im hooked! For the first time in over a year, Ive slept for more than 3 or 4 hours. Night 1, I slept 11 hours; night 2, I out-did it and slept 12 hours! I can feel my injured body healing.The service you are providing to your customers is not just a good nights sleep, but a therapy for pain and suffering. This is the second day in a row that I didnt wake up and grab for my bottle of pain pills. THANK YOU! My doctors did the best thing they could have done for me in prescribing your product!

I dont recommend buying beds from Sleep Essentials. Bought a bed and frame. Footboard came apart. Took 3 months to get it back and not even 3months later the bolt pulled out of the footboard and caused my husbands side of the bed to fall to the floor. He already has neck and back injuries and pain and that fall to the floor which caused him to fall out of the bed made his neck and back hurt worse.

After days of research on the internet I found the Sleep Essentials website. Sleep Essentials has the best price I was able to find on the internet or by calling the usual furniture or bedding stories for a latex mattress. The owner is very knowledgeable about bedding products and genuine about his products and service.I researched all the different types of bedding products available today to include jell, latex, high density foam(Temper Pedic), water, and air mattresses ranging from $2000 to $6000. I checked out all the so called name brand products like Selly, Sterns & Foster, Temper Pedic, and Serta, all had similar products of varying makes with the same internal makings which any research will bear out that most retail mattress are made by two or three manufacture’s who label the product with different names depending on who they are making it for. If you have ever tried to warranty a bed, you will find in a hurry that the deck is stacked against ever collecting on a warranty from one of the retail brands listed above, believe me I have tried. You might just as well be trying to pull a ducts tooth, just try and find one!I suffer from severe neck and back injuries sustained in an auto/pediatrician accident some 20 years ago. Due to my injuries, my spine is fused from L3-S1 so I cannot sleep on a bed that sags. We spent about the same amount this latex bed costs on a Temper Pedic type of foam bed that only lasted less than ten years, yet had a 20 year warranty. When we received the high density foam mattress we had to let it air out for several weeks due to the chemical smell that permeated the air and made it impossible to sleep on. Im not quite sure if the smell ever went away, or if we just got used to it.In doing the research, I found that all retail mattress are required by law to have the fire retardant spreyed on them if they can burn. The chemical smell is overwhelming to the senses and reminded me of Formaldehyde. Gave my wife a severe headache and made me somewhat nauseous, so when I found the Sleep Essentials website and talked to the owner, I knew this was the mattress I was looking for. This mattress has no chemical smell at all.The owner was very helpful and was able to deliver and setup the bed the same day I made the purchase. Its been about a month since we purchased this mattress and I can say without hesitation, this is the most comfortable mattress I have ever slept on and has great back support. Prior to purchasing this mattress I was waking up every morning with escalated pain in my back. Since purchasing this mattress, my low back pain has decreased or remains the same through the night.
