This is the absolute most unprofessional place I have had the displeasure of working with. I requested my oxygen supplies three days ago and was told they would be delivered yesterday. Yesterday, a voicemail was left stating that they did not have tanks available and would deliver today. I had not heard from them by 2:00 today (it’s now after 5), so I called them. The receptionist seemed to know little of what I was talking about, despite me explaining it to her. She stated that if the delivery person told me that they would be delivered today, that they would be. At 4:30 today, they still had not been delivered, so I drove to their office. After scrambling around the office, the receptionist said that the delivery driver said that I was one of his last stops today and suggested I get home as quickly as possible (I am literally five minutes from their office). It’s now just after five, their office is closed, and I am sitting on my front steps, waiting. Anyone want to wager a bet that they say they tried to deliver and I wasn’t home?? It’s a good thing we don’t need oxygen to live or anything.

I recently moved to the area and have tried calling the Roanoke branch repeatedly during business hours. No one answers the phone. Once a voice machine answered indicating that the number I was calling was for a cell phone and that my call would be returned. It has now been several weeks and I have not received a call, nor do I expect oneBelieve it or not, Lincare is not owned by some individual cheapskate. It just looks and operates as if it were. Lincare is part of the giant, international company, LINDE. The parent would be better served sticking to industrial gases. They have no business operating in the medical field with their sloppy business practices and lack of consumer/patient focus.Absolutely the worst company I have ever delt with, and I have reluctantly been a customer for nearly 20 years having lived in a part of the country where they have a near monopoly.

This company tries to be helpful but falls way too short. It has taken 6 months to update my insurance information. In the meantime I have not received any supplies for my machine! Now that my insurance is updated it has taken them 10 days to tell me I have to get updated doctor documentation. I’m done! This is irresponsible for a “medical” company. Shame on you!

I read the bad reviews but was between a rock and a hard place when my former provider stopped accepting my insurance for oxygen supplies. From my first call to Lincare to the delivery of my supplies, the service has been terrific. Everything was explained to me in detail, not rushed at all. Phones are always answered by a helpful individual and all information has been correct. I am very glad I chose to overlook bad reviews, more than a year old, and gave them a call.

The worst experience ever I am beginning to wonder if I will ever get my supplies, its been 13 days and today I was told they are waiting for their billing department to update my insurance and of course no phone call to let me know. I will definitely be looking for a new supplier today.

I tried for 8 hours to get the okay to come get my cpap sd card downloaded for an upcoming visit to the sleep facility and was unable to get someone to say I could come in to get it done. They said they would call back and finally called at a little before 5 but knew nothing about the original request. poor office management. Secondly, our doctor sent them a prescription for a rolator walker which they couldnt fulill and delayed it for a month. If you can go anywhere else for service, go there as they dont know the meaning of the word in my own opinion. Oh, everything seems to be blamed on Covid.

I am sorry that I cannot give this location zero stars. I just found out that they claim the order for my fathers oxygen was not signed... They are on the phone now... days later, speaking to the doctors office about the lack of signature - they have not done anything in the meantime to get my father his oxygen.My 91 year old father is on his way to the emergency room... due to lack of oxygen

Ordered supplies for my mom over 2 weeks ago, they promised that day that she would get them within 48 hours. I called them and they said they had no record of her order. They did make things right however by delivering her order to me within two hours. Hopefully they can keep improving.

My partner was sent home from the hospital on oxygen. The Hospital arranged for the oxygen be delivered immediately. The delivery person called at 8:30pm to say he would be over soon. We had been home from the hospital since 11am. Oxygen arrived about 9:15 pm. No paperwork, very few supplies and I have been trying to get replacement tanks for over a week. Lincare is a large company with different suppliers all over the east coast and the group in Roanoke cant bother following up with their customers. They had no problem collecting the payment, for which there is no receipt except from my credit card company. The Roanoke Virginia franchise doesnt even have there information online. When i asked about setting the account uo on line for payments and requests i was told we dont mess with that . What kind of company, that deals with Medicare, doesnt have there accounts set up on line. I highly recommend you find a different company to deal with for any and all medical supplies. I will be forwarding my complaint to Medicare and asking them to check into the companys billing practices. There is no way of knowing what is being billed to insurance, Medicare or Medicaid if there is no paperwork.

All of the negative reviews are spot on and absolutely justified!It is truly pathetic people in need have to be subjected to such incompetence.I am terminating all relations with this so called medical supply company ASAP.I’ll get my own equipment and supplies as needed from a ‘private source’ and pay for it out of my pocket if necessary ... Enough is enough!

Absolutely the WORST customer service Ive ever,ever experienced in my life!!! Been trying for 3 WEEKS, 3 WEEKS to get my fiances DRs order filled! Thankfully he left the hospital with a concentrator from another company whos customer service is bad but Lincare has them beat hands down!!! And to beat all...a representative YAWNED in my ear while I was talking with her! STEAR CLEAR!!!

Reading these reviews. They are all the same as mine. Told I would get a new CPAP machine. Didnt hear anything for 3 or 4 weeks. Every time I called I would be diverted to a national call center in Florida. Was told 3 different stories about why I didnt have it yet. And told they would put a message in for someone at the Roanoke office to call. Never did until I finally sent a message to my doctors office and got a call before the end of the day. Dear Lincare, why cant you do something to help this office do better? Now Im told I DONT need a new machine. I was with the Martinsville/Collinsville office. Mistake leaving them. I wonder how many people have come close to losing their life because of this office. I know I have suffered some. Sure others have as well.

Please stay away from this company. They are not honest and very undependable. I’m very disappointed that they keep telling my Mom different stories. STAY AWAY!!!Here is exactly what happened. My elderly Mom was in the hospital and asked her social worker for a lighter walker to get to and from dialysis with. The social worker sent a representative from Lin Care a heavy set man approximately 300 pounds. He showed up while my Mom was getting dialysis and my Mom asked if it was a light walker and he said yes. She told him she could not test out now and he said I will put it in your room and here’s my card if you have any problems we are open 24 hrs. That night I picked up my Mom and saw the walker it was heavy and I told Mom to call. Mom called and the office was not open. So after numerous calls back and forth they kept telling us to call a billing office which we did and couldn’t get through. It was one story after another so today I took the walker to their office and left it. They would not give any receipt saying the walker was now used. I could say more but it’s unbelievable. Please do not use this company.

At their Roanoke office it took them 2 months to get my order done because they didnt know how to check their own online ordering system that my doctor sent them. Finally got my equipment and they entered it into the computer incorrectly, so I cant even order replacement supplies. I call and leave a message and no one returns my calls. Someone told me that their corporate office had to send people to work there because they were so bad, but I didnt think anything of it. I asked to be swopped over to the Christiansburg office and left a message for the woman there to call me back and correct their information in their computer system so i could order replacement supplies but then that person hasnt called me back either so at this point Im done. It has been a year and Im still using the original mask and tubing because these people are so incompetent.

This has been the worst excuse for a service company I have ever experienced! Been trying for the last 10 months to get a portable oxygen concentrator!! Apparently they conveniently keep losing my file! Never receive a call back only ignored! Took forever to get CPAP supplies! I cannot recommend this company if you are looking for service! They recently have changed their phone prompts which means you will not get someone able to assist with any problems!! Any other company has to be better than Lincare! I wish I could give them less than one star!!!😡😡

STAY AWAY!!!!! I was sent a bill 3 or 4 times. Each time I would call them explaining I havent been on oxygen for over a year now. It was a big hassle getting to the bottom of this with people on the phone. Finally they said they should not have billed me. Guess what I just got that bill again and they are saying they will place our account with a collection agency . The only reason I gave them a 1 star is because that was the only way I knew to leave a comment . VERY DISAPPOINTED

Im not really sure why the other reviews are so negative Ive had no issues with them thus far. Of course Im persistent and stay on top of things that need to be done that may be the difference. I got my CPAP Machine 2 weeks after the prescript was sent to them. I just called back the days they called me and developed no issues.

I will rate up to a 3 star because Mrs Poff was kind, respectful and helpful but overall this business, for years, seems understaffed, overwhelmed and the patient has to stay on them and drive the process; why is it so hard and why does it take so long to get a replacement CPAP once the doctor has ordered it. In fairness, once we got into the appointment they staff was awesome. It seems CPAP and Oxygen companies across the country get very low reviews. Not sure why they make it so hard.

Disgraceful establishment who does not value employees, therefore; how could you expect them to help customers in the right way.Cancel contracts as soon as possible and if you work there find a better job, there’s plenty out there.If you get fired, because you were sick, that truly shows a company does not care about the people who work for them and definitely doesn’t care about there customers.

Took my mom there to get a piece for her CPAP machine. Office closed from 12-1. When we returned to the car to wait. A car pulled up an elderly lady and their family got out to go to the door. Out of no where an employee came with keys to let them in. So I called the number got an answer and was told they they were closed. I informed them of what I had seen. They said she called ahead to come pick up something. CLOSED FOR LUNCH SHOULD MEAN CLOSED FOR LUNCH. Business is business!

American Home Patient was acquired by Lincare, with pretty much 0 knowledge transfer. Ive had to spen two days and several hours tracking down my own notes of the correct supplies calling both companies as well as to simply get a receipt of prior payment needed for my insurance. Lincare had no notes and no number to direct me to their newly acquired company, AHOM. I had to call the local office as well as be transferred to 3 different people. At this point they say they are emailing me what I need but, the customer service rep couldnt even verify to me what it looks like, so I have to wait and see.The local office has always been nice in terms of service, but I have 0 faith in the company overall.

Absolutely the worst customer service ever! Promoted needed oxygen product and was told the transfer of equipment would be easily set up by them. Not the case at all. After repeated calls with constant excuses ie-paperwork not received, blaming other company for delaying their company, Medicare issue, these things take time excuses! Geez, I would think more compassionate care and concern could be delivered with honest timely answers. Please stay away from this company.

Staff is rude. Do not return calls for equipment. Did not provide the equipment I paid for. Would not advise using Linare if you expect courtesy, honesty, or assistance with necessary equipment. Update: It has been many months since I tried getting results from Hensley at Lincare and first wrote my review. Today I received a letter from my so-called account rep confirming my insurance info.That should give you an idea of how responsive they will be to you. UPDATE: Its been many months since I wrote my reviews. I assumed that we were done with each other. NOT! The Lincare people in Florida called me twice last week to let me know that its time to order new supplies. I let the first call ride, but the second one blew my mind. Obviously it isnt just the Roanoke Linare thats screwed up. ANOTHER UPDATE: Got a local call from a female employee essentially saying she seeks to understand my displeasure with Lincare, and she wants to work with me to straighten things out. So, the game is ... ignore me, ignore me, lie to me a few times while you continue to ignore me. No, I have zero intentions of EVER discussing squat with these imbeciles. All they need to know is right here. Future calls will be considered harassment.

Its really a shame that you cant rate something as one star, because these guys havent even earned one. I have been using my breathing machine for 7 years now, and have never had such poor service on all ends as this company. Its been 3 months since I was forced by my insurance to switch to them, and I still havent received any supplies at all. Multiple attempts to get this resolved and they just keep pushing the blame off to someone else along the line. If you have a choice, NEVER go through this company, they shouldnt be in business at all.

I wish I had read reviews before I even stepped foot in office. My daughter broke her leg so she was prescribed a ped walker. I took prescription for it Monday and was told to call Tuesday and speak with person who deals with faxes. I call and leave a message after being put on hold several times. Here it is Thursday and after being put on hold for total of 14mins(called twice) to be told that they dont have it nor did Stephanie receive message to call me back! And conveniently the supervisor is on a conference call. Im so upset, very unprofessional and to think she didnt even apologize!

Very poor service. Called in to see when my last supplies were purchased on a Monday, was told their system was down and they would call me back. Gave them my info and here it is Friday and no call back. When I called them again they had no idea who I was, told me I was not in their system even though I was told I would be put in their system. I would not do business with these people again.

Horrible customer service since Lin Care took over American Home Patient. Weve been trying to get supplies for over 5 months. Weve called every few weeks, at least once a month since August for this go around. Every single call is holding to muzak 15+ minutes and then we get run around, excuses, oh my, well take care of that right away promises, broken promises, excuses. Tons of phone time, holding while they check... blah, blah, blah. Still not a single order filled. I dont see how they will stay in businesss with such poor follow through and poor patient care. Were done.

Worst Service I have ever had... Too bad they took over the account from American Home Patient. I am looking for another provider in the area to switch both my and my wifes account.Also, the office that are in is filthy and cluttered.The staff has no idea what follow through or follow up is. If you have an issue or a problem, dont expect them or the national customer service to get back to you with status, updates, or completion....Again - WORST SERVICE I HAVE EVER HAD!!!

Unbelievably bad experience. My doctor ordered cpap supplies and I waited and waited, left multiple messages with no return calls. I finally had my doctors office call them and I received a call the same day only to be told they would get everything taken care of by the end of the week and they promised someone would call...... Here it is Friday at 3PM no call. I contacted them to be left on hold twice for over 15 min. I now have to wait until next week. Its a good thing my sleep apnea is no worse than it is or Id be in serious trouble. I expect a company to kerp their promises not make constant excuses for why they cant. I would have preferred to leVe no star but it wasnt an option. For the record my doctor chose this company not me...when I see her again Ill tell here to read the reviews before referring her patients.
