This is a road ranger NOT a pilot. If you are with a company that only allows fueling at pilot do not stop here. Otherwise its a pretty decent truck stop.

First of all note to drivers this is not a pilot, I put in the necessary edit that I cant believe hasnt been changed yet. This is a road Ranger which they ended their business with Flying J / Pilot back in Feb 1st, 2020.Anyway the place is okay, the food is typical gut bomb gas station grease, cleanliness is Id say 7 to 8 out of 10 for the times Ive been here anyway. Mostly everything here is overpriced like most places anymore, Im looking at you loves. Anyway its a mediocre truck stop, Ive seen worse, Ive seen better.

Good Pilot, lots of gear, food is good they have skillets of it & PJ fresh~Bathrooms clean..

I haven’t been in Rochelle in a while and to my surprise, saw this new Pilot. Very clean, everything was well stocked, coffee counter was spotless and the showers were fantastic. Night shift was friendly. Parking is limited so you may want to try to get there early if planning to take your 10 hour break.

This Pilot suffers from awful parking lot/fuel lane design. If theres a sufficiently long enough line, it completely immobilizes anyone trying to park or leave their parking spot. The inside is fantastic, but P/FJ has been designing truckstops for over four decades. Theres got to be a better way to handle fuel traffic. I can easily foresee trucks lining up to the street at this location.

Newer pilot. They offer their pj fresh food here. Fuel bays are not so good. Had garbage cans overflowing and squeegee for windshield not in good shape. Also if getting fuel use the bays farther away from building they pump faster. The ones near the building are so slow you may as well take your break while getting fuel.

Excellent hot food. Showers are awesome. Associates are passive (laid back) but the internet needs a little work. I’m next to the building and marginal to no signal on premium or free. Flying j style parking, width wise. 👍

I stopped to spend the night on 4/10 and went inside at 5pm to grab some pizza for dinner.....stood in line for almost 10 minutes because theres about 20+ local college students who have stopped in to get food+drinks also. After I finally get to the register, I asked for 2 pieces of pizza....I was told that Im not allowed to order any food until after all the students order and are served first to make sure they all get to eat....now I know just how important us truckers really are to PFJ, so I guess Ill be stopping at the Petro across the highway from now on.

My last time giving this place a chance. Pumps wont allow a credit option with a dual debit/credit card. Pumps run quite slow. Very high convenience store prices. Long lines with slow checkouts. I walked out after realizing I would wait 10+ minutes for an overpriced drink.

Nice clean stop but who designed the parking lot and fuel pump space? Wouldn’t be too terrible if there was sufficient space to flip a U-Turn to back in to the right side spaces if the left side is full, otherwise better be damn good at blindsiding!

This is decently busy location. Srvice is slow. And fuel lane are going to be blocked from the 30 min cant back up club.

Best Shower I have ever had on the road! PJFresh, very fresh as always indeed! Everyone in this store was extremely friendly and helpful. I will go out of my way to plan my fuel stop and break here again!!!

Horrible parking for a Semi and 53ft trailer a really genius that that built the parking lot come up about 5 ft short to be able to back in. Inside was clean but very weak for choices given time it will be destroyed along with all the hoods in the parking lot. Also Wifi and phone signal horrible

Very nice & clean Pilot...this place is fairly new. The team here are friendly & helpful...I accidentally put quarters into dryer instead of washer & even though management didnt have a key to refund me at the machine, he refunded me at the register. Thank you so much ❤️ will definitely come back whenever we are in Rochelle!

New store, very clean, well stocked. Nice restroom and shower BUT music is everywhere and too loud; in the store, at the pumps, and in the parking lot.

On 2/8/21 I made a parking reservation via the Pilot Flying J app and all the reserved parkings were full when i arrived a few hrs later. This happens every once in a while so I went inside to get my receipt and to let them know that someone must be parked without a reservation because the parking was full. They said: sorry, there is nothing we can do, we can offer you a refund but thats about it. What is the purpose of allowing drivers to pay in advanced for a reserved parking when you will just let anyone park on those spots regardless? Now the responsible driver that trusted your company and paid to have a parking along with peace of mind must just arrive and deal with the oh well, nothing we can do attitude of the employees? Ive been reserving parking with Pilot for over 2 years and this is a first. To top it off, as they were refunding me, anyone could still go to the app and make a reservation as the app was still showing 6 available parking spots. There are Pilots that do not offer reserve parking and thats fine but to offer it and not have it available simply because the employee is not willing to go outside and remove violators is unacceptable. I hope this is an isolated incident only in Rochelle, IL and doesnt become common practice in other Pilots.

They had what I needed and the people at the register where friendly and courteous.

Pumps shut off at 75.00 dollars. Then you have to start over to finish filling. Then no receipt. Not happy.

There so called fresh and delicious has only pizza become this brand new store everything is broke down and the employee the few times Ive been here have about as much care as there equipment working because I had to wait 45 mins for a shower because no one went to clean them. Any truck driver willing to stay here dont plan on good service or working equipment. Stay at your own risk there is 2 other truck stop all together stay there they have good employees and food all around within walking distance.
