One of a class museum in its own kind. In my view it’s the best museum in London. Beautiful n amazing architecture building having a lot of rooms which holding precious info of the world about nature, gems, animals, birds n many more. Wonderful giant sculpture waiting for u in main hall as soon as u entered the building. Dinosaur section is the best one. Awesome thing is its free as other museums in London. Must visit if ur in this beautiful city. It’s not only good for adults but kids too.

We left it too late to book our time slot and 15:15 was the earliest option. My 11 year older daughter enjoyed the dinosaur exhibition. So much so that she bought a dinosaur tail to wear. The cafe is over priced and disappointing for what we pay, but it is an oasis to rest between all the walking. My daughter loved avocado, chicken and spinach sandwich, but it’s better to take your own picnic if you have time to prepare it.The shop is great. We bought so many things over the years. The gem stone section was amazing. We were chased out as the museum was closing at 18:00. Book your slot a month or more in advance to get a morning time slot to enjoy the whole experience if you are not local. See

Great experience including the Fantastic Beasts exhibition. The food is a bit pricey, as expected of a museum, bit the attractions are well worth the trip! The staff are so friendly and helpful so dont be afraid to ask for help if you get lost. You will need to visit here more than once, this place is huge! Im bringing my nieces and nephews here for a day trip next time. There is plenty of things for both adults and children to enjoy so its fun for all ages.

The museum is sensational. I recommend it a lot for children because there are a lot of stuffed animals. It has full-size animal reproductions that are very realistic. There is no age to visit this museum. The museum is very accessible for people who cannot use stairs, there are elevators for better accessibility to the exhibitions.

What a place!Had a fabulous time with my fiance (soon to be wife) walking around on my birthday. The amount of exhibitions and knowledge you can acquire from a place like this is astonishing.Id recommend you visit this not in one go as you will be absolutely exhausted. You should attempt to visit it in probably 3 days if you want to actually learn anything.Architecturally speaking, it is fantastic, just shows how great the buildings of old were. Being around for over 100 years and still holding all its glory, really amazes me.I cannot wait to come back more times and check the new exhibitions.

Lots of construction going on outside, not signed in the most productive way though in all honesty this would totally depend upon the direction you are coming from. The building itself as always is quite remarkable to see and explore, exhibits are all incredibly well presented and maintained. The staff were helpful and polite, through some exhibits there is a one way system in place, but given recent times this is to be expected and doesnt detract from what is a brilliant day out. Look forward to going back, as there is always something you havent seen whether it is part of an exhibition or the amazing architecture/interior design. It was clean throughout with plenty of evidence of continuous cleaning in eating/drinking areas. Hand sanitisers are easily found throughout the building. Toilets were very clean also.

What a beautiful museum the building is absolutely stunning! The collections are great, my children loved it all, every section was interesting and kept their attention. It was easy to access on the tube, there are two entrances one for the general public and one for anyone who needs ramp access (wheelchair, prams ect). The gift shop is great they have lots of crystals which were actually cheaper than eBay which was a shocker! I do recommend buying one of the maps so you can find what you are looking for easily. They have a fantastic beast exhibition on at the moment which was ridiculously overpriced 😳

Natural History Museum is one of the best identity of London.. Every feature takes us back into many centuries before and we can witness the preserved history.I was never aware of this until my friend told about this a couple of days before. He could explain the dinosaur exhibition exactly of what he saw 9 years before while I was watching it. That is the level of impact it can create to anyone visiting this place. This is just a beginning for us and we would visit this place many times in a year for the learning of our kids. I would even introduce this to all my friends and even be part of the visiting along with them.My son enjoyed every moment there and he even remembered the precious visit we did in a different place while he was too young. So, I can completely see how this can be a benefit to the future generation.I also got the privilege to do a small donation as this is a free entry but we still got our role to play to preserve the environment and the future generation to be benefitted for the same.Thank you for all the hearts who had taken immense effort to preserve this nature.

There is SO much more to see though - you can spend your whole day in the museum, and still you wont have seen everything it has to offer. If I had to find a negative, it would be that some of the exhibits are looking a little old - Im talking about the interactive exhibits here, the technology for some of which is now crying out to be updated and, sadly, is often on the blink. Still absolutely LOADS of good stuff to see though, and while I genuinely miss seeing Dippy the Dino in the main foyer area, the whale skeleton does look pretty impressive when viewed from the right perspective!

I think there may have been some dinosaurs and other animals but I cant confirm as I spent my afternoon shuffling around desperately keeping hold of my kids. Had they slipped away for even a second Id have lost them in the scrum. For those of you with covid concerns Id recommend staying away. Despite the tickets saying that face coverings were encouraged Id say that less than 10% of people were wearing them. Most frustratingly was the fact that all bar 1 of the gel dispensers was empty. If today is indicative of the reduced capacity then I really cant imagine how busy it will be when things return to normal.Toilets were clean, cafe reasonably priced. Fantastic museum. Have always enjoyed every visit from a child and now in my fifties Have gone back many many times. Very fortunate to have got a chance to work there for a few weeks and saw some if the exhibits not on display to the public. It has changed a lot over the years and have to admit liked the way museums used to present exhibits, personally feel it has been dumbed down a bit to appeal to a wider audience. Used to like it when the dinosaur skeleton was in the main hall but suppose more apt now and free? Has been used in so many films that I know of in the last 50 years, sometimes as itself, sometimes masquerading as other places. Always something new to see and very educational. By being rude and slow u will just hardly achieve any good results. Another thing, dont come with baby or with toddler. They are not welcome here. My son been hungry, so I was feeding him with snack while walking, until Ive been stopped by one staff member and been told to leave premises because food is not allowed. Its understandable if food is not allowed, however I think small kids and babies should be exception, but the way Ive been approached, its just huge disrespect. She could say to me to go and sit in buffet or in restricted area where I can feed my baby, not to shout at me like animal to leave. This give rise to long lines outside the museum. The wait time can be as early as 30mins or less depending on the number of guests arriving that day.I suggest you plan your visit quite early in the morning from 9am, I am not sure the exact time the museum opens it doors on a daily. But, been early means no wait times. It is worth it...There are no entrance fees, but you can buy lots of wonderful souvenirs at the gift shop. You have no worries coming in with kids and having to carry your jackets all by hand as they have very large individual lockers to hold your belongings.
