I have been here a few times and have not been disappointed! Great selection of cigars, with a wide variety of premium smokes. The outdoor seating area is great on a summer evening, too. Great professional staff rounds out a great place to visit!

You have Every day cigar shops. Then you have TGF. The owner takes pride in his selection, and and is truly accommodating to his customers.

I went there for the first time since moving to the area and it did not disappoint. Great selection of cigars as well as a great amount of options for drinks. Great airflow inside and was super clean. I would definitely recommend this for anyone looking to enjoy a nice cigar and drinks.

Nice place; Ive been a few times. Drinks this last time seemed pricey, but I guess I can understand they might need to do that because of the niche nature of cigar bars. My suggestion for improvement would be to display the prices on the cigars. It seemed like 80%+ of the cigars in the humidor had no prices listed. Turns out the robusto I selected was something like $14. So two drinks and a cigar was $50. Staff was friendly, although not wearing masks.

Because of pandemic restrictions, this review is a little restricted. Not a large place. May have an upper seating area. We (6)sat outside. Service was very good, considering it was one of the 2 bartenders. He was very accommodating, good mixologist. No complaints about drinks. Plenty of cigars to purchase and smoke on premises. Not a smoker but didnt feel inundated with smoke and smell when I was inside.

I thought the atmosphere was nice although I thought your large group seating was a bit limited. I would generally describe the place as a bar that has cigars, not a cigar lounge with drinks. I thought the drinks are slightly pricey but an excellent selection.The major driver of the review actually had very little to do with me. A friend of mine with our party ordered your signature old fashioned and the bar tender didnt know how to make it. In the end he decided it was best to cancel the order and have a scotch instead. I thought for a signature drink though, it should be no problems. Thats all. Nothing was a deal breaker however. Id stop in again if I get down there sometime.

When I visit Michigan with my wife to see my grandmother we always stop and have some drinks and cigars and the service is always been good and friendly. The selection of cigars is nice, the humidor is well-stocked, and they also have a very good liquor selection. I recommend this place. They also have an outdoor patio for any people who don’t like too much smoke so you can sit outside. Nice touch.

Wonderful selection of both cigars and spirits. The staff is extremely friendly and very knowledgeable. This could very well become our new go-to cigar spot.

Good cigar and drink selection; vip upstairs. Will always accomodate what sporting event you wish to watch. Outdoor seating too. Washrooms could use updating to be particular. Great staff.

Have been there twice with a friend. Was served by 2 different bartenders who both did an excellent job, were friendly, and were knowledgeable regarding drinks/cigars. The atmosphere is also very pleasant. Definitely plan on returning to TGF in the future.

I would highly recommend this cigar bar! The owner is friendly and knowledgeable. I also enjoy that you can smoke your cigar on the patio.

Cool place although it is a bit small. No seating for groups over four people. Big cigar selection and great drinks, although overpriced. We payed extra for the VIP area yet had to walk downstairs for the bartender and cigar cutters.

Very cool place to go. A nice Macanudo and coffee was as great as the bar itself.

My clothes reeked of smoke .....duh! Its a cigar bar...if you dont mind feeling like a piece of jerky, this is the place for you...not me.

If I could leave negative stars I would. Been to this place a few times because friends live near there but every time I go there usually a Friday or Saturday night it takes an extremely long time to get a drink or even pay for a cigar. The last time I went there will definitely be my last, the owner is rude and obnoxious. You would think when 8 people come to your business and only 6 people were there that you would be happy to see us walk through the door, not this owner.

I havent been there yet, but it has cigars and alcohol, so five stars.

Breathable air!!! Omg...the things we take for granted lolI have been to.many cigar lounges and godfathers has probably the best air filtration system even on the busiest of nights where its practically standing room only....Awesome drinks, cigars, prices and service too....If you are wondering if you should try here or not just go the owner is awesome and full of knowledge on cigars and drinks to pair with!

Some friends and I went to the Godfather on a whim last night because The Hills sucked and we still wanted something to do. I was there one other time for a charity event and it was packed. This time it was very chill. Not a lot of people and excellent service! Our waitress Dawn was amazing! Super friendly and personable and would actually go back just to see her again. The drinks were good and they have an internet jukebox. I also like that the owner was actively walking around tidying things up and asking customers how their time was. I dont normally go to smoke bars but this was a very enjoyable visit.

Every drink we ordered (a total of 3) was total fire and the staff was super helpful and hospitable. Great place all around!

The owner was extremely rude to a group of us that went here as couples for a birthday after dinner cigar and drinks. Had a new female employee that literally had no clue how to use their point of sale system and we patiently stood there for 20 minutes while she poured 3 whiskeys and tried to ring them out. I didnt care at first because some of our group was inside the humidor so we werent in a hurry anyway. But when they left the humidor it got way worse. I was trying to pay for the three drinks we ordered while waiting and she kept adding other things onto the bill. I explained 3 times that I just want to pay for these drinks and that they will pay for their cigars on a separate transaction and it just went downhill from there. The owner not only took her side but even made a stupid remark to us. I dont usually write reviews but it was such a horrible experience I wanted to make sure no one else endured the same thing.

Have visited Godfather lounge on multiple occasions and have had a good experience. As long as everything goes ok youll more than likely have a decent experience here. If you have a complaint about anything then youre in for a treat when dealing with the owner Marty who thinks in this day and age you can say whatever you want to customers. He has that Old school attitude that if you dont like it then leave. Rather than apologizing for his untrained clueless bartender like any other intelligent business owner would do, he chose to get defensive on her behalf and disrespect our group. One of the guys in our group is a member there and the owner had the nerve to say we were lucky he was with us. We took our cigars and left immediately.

I enjoyed this place the first time I went which is the reason for 2 stars. However, the second time the manager rushed out out of the humidor room. He asked if we needed any help and when we told him wht we were looking for he just grabbed a cigar and was like here. No explanation as to why it was a good cigar or anything. He then rushed our payment, cut our cigars and promply told us you guys gotta get out of here meaning we had to move away from the bar and go find a table or something. He clearly seemed like he was in a rush to take our money and have us move on. What kind of service is that? On top of this he ran my friends card and said it was declined so my friend gave him another card to run. My friend then called his credit card company and was told that there was a charge for the cigar on 2 different cards. My friend thinking it was an honest mistake told the manager and the manager was like here look its declined and gave him the receipt saying declined. However, the credit card company told my friend the card that got declined was run twice before the second card was run and asked to speak with the manager. The manager said no im not talking to anyone on the phone my friend told the credit card company and they said no problem and took the extra charge off his card. We will not be coming back.
