A couple of years ago, American Door Systems did our front door. Its lovely, well-insulated, and the gentlemen installing it were super perfectionists (in a good way).I just went back to get a quote for replacing our garage door, and it looks like theyre just the same as ever: super good at what they do, with no fuss. A small selection of *quality* doors at a good value, with qualified professionals who know what theyre doing. I highly recommend these folks if you need exterior doors, windows, or garage doors.

The team at American Door is great to work with. We have worked with them for many years; custom front door with sidelights, garage door and opener and just this week 2 new Larsen storm doors. Prices are very fair, service excellent. Check them out before you purchase elsewhere.

Great experience!!! The installers arrived at 8:00 am and basically worked all through the day. All of my doors were custom sizes so they needed more work/finesse to install. To top it off, it rained the majority of the day and the guys were like machines. Super nice and they also did a fantastic job framing in and trimming out each of the doors. I cant say enough about my entire experience...from the quote process, to ordering, to install!

Tim arrived right on time, with a mask. Thank you! Took a look at the alignment of the rails on our garage door which had recently been damaged. Said he would realign and check out both doors for any issues. Took about half an hour. Everything working great. I have used this company for decades and have always been pleased.

We had a new entry door installed in the front of our house this past week. I found American Door on Home Adviser, after contacting four or five other companies about buying and installing a new oak door, we decided to go with American Door for the job. I dont think we could have made a better choice. They are very good at what they do, they are honest, theyre pricing is fair, and theyre workmanship is top notch. As a wood worker myself, I know a good job when I see one, and these guys are the ones you want to call and use. I just LOVE, LOVE my new door. Everyone at this store was very helpful. I was very unsure what I wanted. I have been looking at doors for a couple of years. John came to my residence and measured and made sugestions based on what I was looking for, the space and color. This is one decision that ended up PERFECT and the guy that installed did a great job. I paid over $6500 for my front doors. 1. Stain was left all over windows. 2. Weather Stripping was not properly installed with 1 gaps at top and bottom. 3. Side window trim began bubbling and peeling within 4 months. 4. Door is completely faded, which began fading within a month of Install.They attempted a repair on side trim but 3 months later bubbling again. Door is less than 2 years old and looks like 20 years old.I guess it was my responsibility to call the office and let them know that stain was left on windows and weather stripping wasnt properly installed. Owner wanted to know why I didnt call asap, I thought paying $6500 would afford me a quality job but I was wrong!!I have called again an if not repaired to satisfaction I will spend an hour or 2 each day trying to deter others from using American Door.

I have never deal with any company that never return call or call you back on your status. I had deposit the money for the door I had told the sale rep that the door is wrong. They sent people to take out the door and never return my phone or text. They run away with my money and never hear anything back from the rep at all. Do not do business with this company. Bad services and not get the job done and run away with my money and never return call. What a scam company.

I had a garage door and 3 windows installed 1 year ago, the doors and windows look and work great. The installers did a great job and the inside and outside of the house was finished perfectly.

What a nightmare. Until now, we were repeat customers. We had 2 storm doors and an exterior door installed without incident. We paid a very large sum of money for new windows throughout the house and a doorwall. The windows took over 3 months to come in. The installer took twice as long as estimated to install. The installer damaged multiple areas of our home, left his food in our garage, left nails, screws and ladders within reach of my toddlers (for days. Like he left them up at the end of the day). Did not use a single drop cloth and filled my house with dust. He cut himself and left bloody fingerprints on a window. The windows with preassembled trim are perfect. The windows with trim installed by ADS look bad. Random, bulging, exposed nail holes, corners not tight and aligned, trim material splintered. The owner became very angry with us when we voiced our concerns and disappointment in the workmanship. He did send people out to fix some things, which required multiple attempts and resulted in more damage to our home. The job is still not done to our satisfaction, especially considering the amount of money spent. But in the interest of our safety and sanity we have decided to not pursue matters further.

Friendly and informative; I purchased replacement garage door torsion springs here for a fair price. Ive since installed them myself and they seem to be working perfectly.

Purchased a garage door from them and had a good experience. Came back and purchased 21 Great Lakes Windows, door wall and other items through American Door. The installataion process was just great and employess very respectful. However, over time the seals on the Great Lakes windows failed and the lock on the door would not work. Someone came out who was not helpful, so I stopped in and talked to Sue, one of the owners o American Door Systems which is a family business. She her husband John and son (who does installation) were great. American Door Systems had stopped selling Great Lakes Windows because of the failure of the windows. However, we determined my windows were still under warranty and Sue worked really hard to get Great Lakes to follow through on the warrenty. I received new replacement windows and a new door wall (the lock was broken). American Door Systems installed all the windows and door at a really really fair price (installation was not under warranty). I am so gratful to the business. They are very customer oriented and committed.

What a great experience !! From the start of the process, Kendra was very helpful and patient, and answered all our questions . We purchased a Clopay insulated garage door with windows and a MasterLift 8550 wifi garage opener, and had them install. Tim was the installer and hes done a great job. He did not rush thru the installation and took his time to do it right, which I appreciated very much. He also made sure to clean the garage before he left. What a breath of fresh air he was!! After going thru many trades over the one year remodel of the entire house, American Door Systems and their installers are one of the few the trades and services that I can highly recommend. Top notch installation and great prices!! Thanks again!!

Had a great experience! Everything from door selection to installation. John and Sue spent a significant amount of time consulting us during several visits to the store prior to any purchase. They are patient people! :) We purchased Therma-Tru entry doors, an Emtek entry door handle, Fox storm doors, and a Clopay garage door in the fall of 2016. John accommodated custom colors on both the interior and exterior of the entry doors. He even went above and beyond to find a non-standard storm door handle that was a close match to the entry door handle we had selected. A week before delivery, the spring on our old garage door broke. John sent one of his installers over to put a temporary fix in place free of charge. Everything was installed on the same day. The installers were all personable and professional. They went to great lengths to make sure dust didnt infiltrate our open floor plan. Upon completion, they walked us through the installations wanting to confirm our complete satisfaction. Everything looks great and continues to perform perfectly. Thanks to all who were a part of this project!

Bought front door middle of June.it is now middle of August and still waiting.No contact from them at all.I have to call them.Zero stars for sure.
