I would not recommend Boylard to anyone I know. We purchased Marvin windows from Tony our salesperson back in February. We thought the ultimate windows came with inserts but he failed to mention they did not. Thats fine, so we ordered the inserts back in April. I asked him for an update in May and he said they should be in any day now. 7 months later and still no inserts. I have asked several times for an update since then and he continues to ignore my messages. I understand things are behind right now because of covid but this is just bad customer service. Definitely will not be using them for any renovation projects in the future.

ALL I WANTED WAS MATERIAL NOT EVEN INSTALLATION. Company is a joke. Easy 100k+ the company is missing out on windows and lumber. John Monigold straight up told me hes not interested in my project and didnt even suggest any alternatives on material they have

Terrible customer service, several associates were extremely rude to my wife and I. Treated us like we were dirt. They missed out on $50,000 in material sales that we would have purchased from there but purchased at another store for our home remodel. Get over your attitude and learn respect and sales skills.

Excellent service and product selection. Nick Monigold is a true professional, and has provided outstanding service for our renovation project. Bolyard Lumber should always be your first choice.

I have been here on three occasions and the female sales associate has all three times, looked me in my eyes and did not say a word to me. Only one time did she have a client in her office. The guys at the sales desk in the back are helpful. The reason I am giving this 3 stars is because they have a very good selection and carry quality products.

They are the the rudest people ever. I went there this am and the sales guys was 10 minutes late and out of the 5-6 people there no one could write a ticket so I could buy material. No had to Waite for the sale guy, shoot my time apparently is not worth anything to them. I will put a sign on my van BOLYARD LUMBER SUCKS dont buy from them the builder that buy from them are crazy.. There $$$ are terrible buy from a real yard and get customer service.. Maybe they should look up what that means. Bet there too dumb to figure it out. This isnt the first time this happened there.. Will drive a 100 miles out of my way not to spend a cent there.. I hope others check out there reviews and buy else were.. We dont need that kind of NO service in this industry .. Also the yard guys suck just as bad as front counter help... Good luck dealing with these morons

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE...BEWARE....I have been a long standing customer of Bolyard Lumber. I spent over $4,600 for screens for my new house including screen doors for doors that open to our backyard. I made it clear that we have small children - that the doors would be used frequently and that we wanted screen doors with push bars and toe kicks. They dropped off all of the screens. As we were installing them the screen doors we noticed that the screen doors did not have push bars or toe kicks. I immediately contacted the owner of Bolyard Lumber, John Monigold, and requested to exchange them or return them. He told me that I should have known that they do not make screens with push bars and toe kicks and that the screen doors are special order and not returnable. I explained that this was never made clear to me and that I never signed anything regarding the non-returnable nature of the screens. I requested any type of sales receipt that I signed indicating that the screens were not returnable. Not only was he not able to produce a sales receipt with their return policy but he was indignant and told me that any reasonable person knows that this is not returnable. This is horrible customer service. I am now out over $3,000. I am contacting my credit card company. We will see what happens.

Not helpful at all and quite rude. Called to get a quote on some lumber. Was told that it would be no problem on the phone. After I e-mailed my plan to them they responded via e-mail, I feel I would be wasting my time doing anything on this. I called back and was assured they could help me. After waiting another day I recieved another e-mail. I WAS INFORMED BY MY BOSS TO NOT DO ANYTHING WITH THIS. (caps theirs) So not only did they not help me but they also wasted my time. Very unimpressed, I will taking my business elsewhere in the future.

I had a custom kitchen installed in my residence in Chesterfield, Michigan. The Dealer/Installer was Bolyard Lumber or Bolyard Design. The Kitchen Manufacturer was Downsview. Both the Dealer and the Manufacturer have been a nightmare to deal with.Poor quality, poor workmanship was displayed on both their parts. No service on inferior cabinetry. I am stuck with a very expensive kitchen that is an embarrassment.

They were better than Dilman & Upton in terms of quality, but more expensive. They were worse than Johns Lumber in quality, same price. I purchased 2x8s in 2014 and 2015.

Terrible customer service. We went in looking for closet organization systems and they would not give us the time of day. I thought they were in business to sell merchandise, but apparently not to people of my ethic background (Asian).
