This past 4th ofJuly weekend 2021, I decided to finally get the Les Paul model that I have always wanted. I had shoulder surgery in 2013, and stroke in 2017. I still have tingling, and limited motion in my left (I play right handed guitar) hand, and was looking for something more for physical therapy. In addition, Ill be having back surgery in August or September. The Epiphone Les Paul standard pro plustop, in Green Burst, was a no go. Too heavy, and green is no longer available. I talked to Rick, explained the situation, and told him I would stop in the next day and talk to him. He sent me info on two Epiphone Les Paul Muse guitars he had in stock. I did some research on them. Even though they are basically chic guitars they fit my needs perfectly. Its a lighter guitar, and is beveled to easily play sitting down. Rick knew exactly what I really needed and was very patient. I never felt rushed or pressured. In fact we had a BS session after the sale. I really felt comfortable. It is now going to be my go-to store for any future purchases. I dont like supporting the big chains. I prefer supporting smaller, local stores in my community. It was a very pleasant experience. I also couldnt have asked for a better guitar to suit my physical issues. Limelight music now has a new committed customer.

Great local music store. First choice for all my guitar purchases and much better to deal with than big box music stores. I always get treated fairly and recommend to musicians of all skill levels. Salespeople are real musicians. Rick is a great guy who has been in the business for many years. I am lucky to have this store in my neighborhood!

Took a used Strat I purchased secondhand to be setup, as the prior owner played with things he shouldnt have. Not only was turnaround time lightning fast, the guitar sounds and plays absolutely perfect. I am overjoyed to say the least, and didnt want to put it down. Love this place, thanks guys.

Ive been a customer for years, and while I dont shop often, when I do, its been all good. The prices are either competitive or better than the online stores, the service is exemplary and there is a great selection of guitars, esp. electric ones. Always have what I need in stock, and if not, they order it. Plus, its a small local businessthat I like to support.

I just bought a ukulele there - Rick was very helpful and pleasant! He gave me a great deal and took the time to educate me on all the facets of the instrument and theyre even setting it up for me! Definitely the best experience Ive had buying an instrument.

Usually love traveling and visiting different guitar stores but I don’t recommend this one. Unless you wanna be followed around constantly with heavy pressure to buy a guitar right away Don’t come here. Bald douche bag in the back with an attitude was the most unpleasant part of the experience.

Stopped in on a whim to pick up a tambourine, ended up starting guitar lessons with my Crestwood again after several years of a lapse (never really caught on the way I felt I could have then), and was paired with Frank. After only a couple of lessons with him, it clicked; excellent instructor for my needs! I was so thrilled about the prospect of playing the guitar, I ended up buying a new Yamaha! The guys were extremely knowledgeable, understood what I was looking for, and accommodating when recommending a guitar, and switching it over for my left-handed playing. It is so much more comfortable, small, light, etc. that I am really looking forward to playing again. You have all been an amazing help! Thanks guys!!

My car wasnt working so I took my motorcycle to Limelight Music, to pick up a bass that they were holding for me. when I realized the difficulty of getting the bass (In a hardshell case, no less) onto my back to drive away on, I was worried. My worries subsided quickly as the gentlemen working there spent a great amount of their time (and their duct tape) to ensure that the bass would make the 40 mile trip back safely to my home, strapped to my back on a motorcycle.Well, I made it back home safely thanks to them, and I have a beautiful bass that survived the ordeal.These guys at Limelight Music are phenomenal at customer service, and as a 1st time visitor/buyer I know Ill be back there.

Took guitar lessons for 3yrs from Frank- I have been very patient with him and his teaching styles. Seen many students come and go, yet I chose to stay with him despite him being difficult. Very inflexible and will unfairly charge you. Overheard other instructors lessons and believe they are better for any looking to hire a guitar instructor from limelight music.
