I recently worked with Tim Carney to purchase a Macan. He made it as easy a transaction as I have experienced. Tim was attentive to my requests and schedule. Tim is obviously knowledgeable and answered all questions I had. He was never pushy. Tim made me feel comfortable while making such a large purchase. It’s been a while since I was excited about buying a car. I think Tim genuinely shared in that. Any customer would be happy to work with him.

I have been a Porsche owner for 8 years, and this is my 3rd Porsche. The purchase experience is good and smooth, but the pain came after I paid the money. I purchased my car around end of July, contact my sales in September when my temporary plate about to expire, and he confirmed the state has already began process my vehicle registration. I waited another 3 wks (been pulled over twice during this period due to expiration of plate), I called both DMV and county office, none of them has any record about my car. So I reached my sales again along with the managing partner of this dealership. They told me that they used a 3rd party company to handle all the registration process, and confirmed my application was delivered on 9/30 morning. This is different than what I heard before, I was told my application already being processed at the beginning of September. I asked for tracking number to make sure it has been actually delivered, Dealership told me that 3rd party company refused to do so because its against their company policy, but they can confirm its already been delivered. I waited another week and called DMV/County office again to inquire my application which delivered on 9/30 (thats what Ive been told), guess what, no record at all, and both DMV/County told me the tracking number will be more efficient for them to check my application. I have to contacted dealership again, and my case again been transferred to another person, this was the 3rd person through the entire process. I ask them to push for tracking number, as Im not asking for other peoples confidential information, I merely asking for the tracking number of My application, again been refused by this third party, I think that company called Jupiter or something, and they give me the latest update as my paperwork was just sent out Oct 8th, ok that explains why they refused to provide the tracking at the first place!!! My county office eventually received my paperwork on 10/20 and asked me to pick up my plate and registration on 10/22. Big thanks to my county office for processing this so fast, but its absolutely ridiculous for a Porsche dealer to handle a case like this. Its fine to use a 3rd party company, but you need to vet their professionalism and reliability for your own reputation. At end of the day, customers will always hold you accountable.

I visited Porsche Rochester yesterday after not receiving a response to an email. My purpose in going to the dealership was to have them confirm the year of manufacture of my classic Porsche 356B. The DMV requested this information to create the registration since the VIN was not in their database. Previously I spoke with Porsche Headquarters in Atlanta who were very helpful in confirming the information was available in the Porsche database and suggested I visit the local dealer who should provide what I needed. To be clear, the request was only for Porsche Rochester to produce a brief statement on their letterhead confirming the VIN is for a 1962 Porsche 356B. This was needed by the DMV to get a classic Porsche properly registered. Unfortunately, my experience with Porsche Rochester was not what others have indicated in their reviews. Dennis was condescending and made it repeatedly clear he was unwilling to help. Obviously, I wish my experience had not been so negative, and hope your experience at Porsche Rochester is more in line with the other reviews. Happy motoring.

Took our recently-bought ’99 C4 in for service and general looking-after. Paul carefully walked me few items that needed attention, and others that were normal and were fine as-is. Work was done very timely, and our car was cleaned outside and in when picked up. Highly recommend.

I had my Cayenne serviced at this location a couple of weeks ago. Danelle was very helpful in that she made sure everything gets done in one day. It is very difficult to book a rental at this location and they dont provide a shuttle service. They also dont have a place where you can stay while they service the vehicle (or I wasnt shown one). Ive been to a few Porsche dealerships across the country through the years and transportation to and from the dealership during service was never an issue.

Paul head of service at Porsche Is exceptional. Definitely knows how you make you feel special and important. Even though we were only having two recalls completed he made sure we were provided with a ride or a loaner car!

I stopped in twice to look at a Cayman and both times my sales person took all the time I needed to make my decision. I took 2 test drives and was never pressured about buying the vehicle. I contacted the dealership in advance about the car I was interested in purchasing. A friendly associate confirmed its availability and then scheduled a test drive for me, and then re-scheduled it after my schedule changed.My Audi specialist, Will, was FANTASTIC- knowledgeable, friendly, enthusiastic and helpful. Service department (specifically Paul) is the best Ive ever dealt with at any dealership. Called in to get a price quote on replacing my parking brakes after another dealership told me a parking break fault on my vehicle was caused by rust and corrosion. Paul instead told me to bring my vehicle in because he believed it was a calibration issue, not rust and corrosion. Sure enough, he was right, and he saved me a lot of money. Will be making the trip from Buffalo to Rochester for all my servicing.

I recently bought a 2014 Porsche Cayenne GTS out of state from an independent dealer and had it transported to me here in Rochester. I bought an extended repair warranty from Garber. Recently I got an add coolant warning on the dashboard. I added a pint of coolant. Warning went away but two weeks later, got another warning. I noticed the liquid level in coolant reservoir was once again below the sensor probes.Garbers service department checked things out. They couldnt have been more accommodating and helpful. I got an appointment for the morning after I called. They put it on the lift, removed appropriate splash panels and gave everything a close look. They found no leaks They topped it up with coolant, and service manager Paul explained to me how to read the min and max level marks on the reservoir tank (not clear in owners manual). I was on my way in about 15 minutes and best of all, no charge! You cant ask for more than that. My mind was eased because Ill be driving the Cayenne out west for a ski trip next month. I am delighted with their service.

Over a month after the purchase, I still havent received the plates of my new car yet. The temporary plate has expired. I have called numerous times, but my calls always went to a voice box and never got answered. This is NOT I would expect from any car dealer, let alone Porsche. Very disappointed.

Excellent buying experience. I purchased a CPO vehicle from this dealership from out of state, and they made the experience easy. The sales rep, Dave McAloose, was courteous, professional, organized, and didnt waste my time. He was the right balance of following up diligently to get things done, without ever being pushy. I would recommend him to family. I have not taken delivery of the vehicle yet, and so reserve the right to amend my rating of the dealership until that happens; based on the experience so far(they even took custom video of the undercarriage for me), I expect all will be as agreed and expected.

What a pleasant place to have my Porsche serviced. I had purchased this one out of town and they could not have been more welcoming to me even though I bought it elsewhere. There was a odd lingering problem that was there before I brought it to them that was there since new. They really dug into it and found the problem and corrected it. Their techs are just excellent.

Completing service at Audi of Rochester is truly an experience. In many other dealerships it is often overlooked and treated as a “you need us” mentality. This dealership treats this as a white glove service. Accommodating my schedule and understanding that my time is just as important as theirs. I can drop my vehicle off in the morning, get a loaner, come back to a cleaned and washed vehicle, and go about my day.
