I went there the other day to turn in cards for store credit. The employees are extremely professional and courteous! They offer approximately fifty percent TCG player value for store credit and they give you these cute little coins if you dont spend all your credits on the day of the transaction. Good atmosphere and a lot of friendly people. Definitely will be going back. Thanks guys!

For the first time in months, Millennium games has turned into the scalpers of pokemon products. I went in here on release day of the Pokemon Celebrations UPC and was greeted by a 400 dollar asking price for it.This is almost 30 dollars above the lowest scalper price on eBay. Previously they charged a reasonable 1.8x premium on the elite trainer box on release day but they marked up this item over 3x the price.There is no reason a store that specializes in trading card games and board games should be overcharging for an item unless there are extenuating circumstances that require such measures. You as a retailer have the responsibility to stay stocked with these items and provide reasonable pricing to people who would like to purchase these items.This store does have a buy limit on pokemon celebrations by the way. They obviously have enough stock to go around. People come to your shop to purchase below market value. If I wanted to pay scalper prices I would have just paid a scalper on ebay.I will appendix this review with this; Millennium games is a nice place for singles cards. They have had a lot of cards that I liked and purchased for only a little bit over market price. Thankfully I have never sold my cards here because they offered me a third of the value of my cards and counted my normal ultra rares as bulk.

I have never been in a more pleasant game store. The shop is beautiful and the associates are incredibly helpful and friendly. I went there today to sell some old Yu-Gi-Oh cards and AJ was a tremendous help. Seriously, I cant recommend this store enough!

Don’t be scared off by the sketchy parking lot and location. Even if you aren’t into the whole dungeons and dragons type scene, this place has family party games both mainstream and obscure. Rows upon rows of strategy games, party games and whole section of new releases you don’t see other places. And the staff is always friendly and welcoming.As a bonus, it’s a great stop for disc golfers as they have a variety of discs, sizes and most importantly BRANDS to chose from.

Whenever I go up to Millennium, I always leave with my wallet in pain. But in a good way, because everything I have bought there I know I wanted and will love. The employees are helpful and playful with customers, the public events they host draw in so many like-minded people. It feels like a real sense of community whenever I go for Commander Night.

This is one of the best game stores in upstate New York, not just Rochester. They have a large selection, a ton of play space and well run events. The selection of board games, card games, and miniatutes is great and the place is very clean and organized. Highly recommended as an outstanding example of a great game store.

Fun atmosphere, friendly employees, and lots of stock of pretty much any game that you could think of. I also shop here for disc golf equipment. Their selection of minifigs is vast, you could spend hours looking for just the right piece. And dont get me started on all the cool dice they have.

Best game store on the east coast by a long shot (I have been from Maine to Florida to give you and idea) They have a huge amount of board games from adventure, horror to classic style play and many more genres! Friendly staff thats full of knowledge. Great selection of Magic the Gathering cards from rare to collectable cards and bulk stock. Always up to date with the new Magic sets and run Magic tournaments and board game days to learn a new board game or simply have fun playing something new. If you are in to disc golf they have a pretty impressive stock of discs and accessories also! I go to Millennium Games at least 2 times a year and I drive 3 to 4 hours just to go there. Its absolutely worth it and you will not be disappointed!

One of my favorite places to go. I go to Millennium just about every weekend. The staff is super friendly and helpful and I like them a lot, but they are constantly asking me if I need help finding something. Literally was asked 10 times today, sometimes by the same person, if I needed help finding anything. I get customer service is nice, but I feel like Im being bombarded and its a little stressful, especially when I am very familiar with store and just want to look around. Otherwise, great store!

Just moved to the area and was looking for a place to get preorders set up for a game that I got products for. The staff was very knowledgeable and friendly and they have a HUGE selection of products. Definitely recommend this place for anyone that gets RPGs or anything board games of that sort but they also have a huge selection of many other things too!

I love this store, Im from the Albany area and havent seen a store like this in the Capital District at all. The selection is incredible and its so easy to find everything because its organized which you dont find at many gaming stores. I make it a point to stop here every time Im in Rochester

Local place to get dice, solid staff and a bunch of unique items. The dollar dice bins a great place to start if your new to dnd it pathfinder and just want some cheap but effective dice. Spent 43$ on a gift and a nice dice set for myself plus some dollar dice to fill out my tray.

Very expansive store with anything you would want for tabletop gaming. Vast selection of MtG, DnD, and other game products, and an incredibly friendly and helpful staff. Would highly recommend.

This legitimately has to be one of my favorites stores or vendors in the Rochester area. My kids love coming here and picking out new dice, games and cards. I love looking for new board games and miniatures and their selection is second to none in the area. Their prices are great their staff are friendly, helpful and I really cant say enough about how great this place is for the entire family.

Ive been in the area for a couple of weeks, and have been here at least twice a week since arrival. Its massive! The board game, books for various rpg systems, and miniature selection is phenomenal. They also offer a selection of used games and rpg systems as well (eg dnd 3.5, 4e, pathfinder 1e, etc.) There is also a large gaming room where there are various tournaments and events as well. Great place and people.

Great selection of games! The used games are really cheap and most of them have all the pieces! The regular games are a little overpriced but its worth it because they have such a huge selection of all different games.

The employees here are very helpful in finding a game to suite your needs whether you have an exact game in mind or just a general description of what you’d like. They’ve also got an awesome loyalty rewards program.

I avoided this place for a long time. On one hand I wish I had continued to do so because I’ll be spending a ton of money here. The staff is very friendly and helpful and know what they are talking about. They have a huge selection and inventory for anyone who is looking for board and tabletop games as well as puzzles and lego. If you play disc golf they have that too. Would 100% recommend this place. I’m actually angry I avoided it for so long.

Used to go there for board games, and it was ok. Service was so-so, selection was fine. But then something happened that made me never wanna go to Millennium again. My college board game club was having a convention -- keep in mind this is a non-profit college group . . . anything the convention earned went back into the clubs treasury for future conventions and buying more games, supplies, etc., no one is actually making money on this except the vendors. Our group reached out to Millennium about running MTG events but we ended up not going with them. We never shook on it or finalized it, we just discussed the possibility of them doing it. Well, when we decided not to go with them they scheduled a huge MTG tournament for the same weekend of our convention which I doubt was a coincidence. It totally crushed our MTG event attendance. How petty to be mad that some kids decided to go with a different vendor for their school gaming convention that benefits the whole local gaming community. Yikes.

We are so lucky to have a monster LGS here in Rochester. They have tons of stuff for Magic the Gathering, board games, Warhammer, and D&D. They also carry a bunch of disc golf equipment, as well as some Star Wars Lego sets. If you are at all interested in any of the aforementioned it behooves you to pay a visit here.

I used to frequent the store for their 5 for 10 miniature box that used to have some good finds. Now it’s filled with minis from the Planeswalker board game that can be purchased for around 12 dollars with 27 minis. They do have have a solid selection of unpainted minis and RPGs though.

Must go in Rochester if you like tabletop games!

Millennium Games is my go-to place for miniature gaming. I used to purchase heavily on Amazon, but have found more satisfaction at this local business. The stock is abundant, the staff is helpful, and their rewards system saves money. I highly recommend this store to anyone over Amazon or other large online retailers!

While I didnt purchase anything on my trip over there, it was very clean, well laid out, the team members were all following safety protocol, and the prices for their games and other items seemed very reasonable. Ill certainly head back there when I have a better idea of what Id like to buy!
