Awesome little ‘food court’ located right beat a park and an out door performance center. Every restaurant or business in the square provides great food! Parking is pretty limited but I’ve somehow never had trouble finding a space.

Love the variety of all the food here. Always something to choose and ice cream at the end.

Really like the restaurants here - there is something for everyone - coffee, ice cream, Chinese, burgers, pasta, and even wine & craft beer!The rooftop terrace is a great place to take your food for a refreshing meal.I find it very eco-responsible of them to have solar panels, wind turbines and the bikes in the gym also provide electricity back to the grid.

I have heard about this place for years and it was the first time I visited everything from Chinese to ice cream gourmet coffees Italian food rooftop dining if you want to and enjoyable different experience handicap accessible even an elevator to take it to the roof people were very courteous and polite I enjoyed it

Always have delicious food and great service here! Also, theres a great rooftop dining area for the nicer weather! On my most recent visit, they were short-staffed and/or especially busy, so some food was not available and we had to wait awhile for our orders (thats the only reason why Im rating them 4 instead of 5 stars).

Its a great place to relax and hang out. We went to hit the Great House of Guitars, then lunch, then Ice Cream. There was live music outside which just made for such a relaxing afternoon!

I-Square is a great concept but poorly executed. The food is over priced and the service is mediocre at best. The atmosphere is a bit sterile and not the same vibrant atmosphere of some other local restaurants/bars. I ordered wings a salad and a couple of beers and the order came to a whopping $64 before the tip. All I can say is ouch!

We love everything about i-square- especially how it serves as a model for renewable energy and eco-fonscious building and business practices. We also appreciate the charge stations for our vehicles! In the nice weather we love going to concerts or eating on the roof, and love the ice cream, wine bar, craft beers, chinese food, burgers, salads/italian food- and the majority of the staff is high school kids who are very friendly and polite. Often times youll see the owners there, as they are hands on with the business! Weve had a great time at breakfast with Santa, or for Monday night football with specials. There are often special events, and a trip to the imagination (be sure to check days/hours) is always fun! So much to learn there! Dont forget the brewery that opened in 2019 just up the street! Our whole family highly recommends it.

We hosted our moms retirement party here with about 25 people with appetizers and open bar. It was awesome! The Nolan’s were so nice and the place was perfect. The food was great too! Highly recommend!

This place used to boast how strongly they were following CDC guidelines. Apparently the CDC is now their enemy for changing the mask policy, and if you get anywhere near this building without one on, the lady from behind the cafe will rush you, waving masks in the air.Subtly wouldnt hurt, but she was super proud to tell everyone we are a private business and we can enforce whatever we want.Yes you can, but you can also accomplish your goal without exercising authority and control over your customers. Or in this case, former customers.

While I love the Square itself, the Market Grill came up short again. 5 of us came for a Cuban sandwich which is always fantastic, but they were out of the ingredients. (2nd time). I can overlook that given the huge turnout the previous day, but again they cant seem to follow your order. I asked for a turkey Reuben..in fact the extremely friendly cashier offered it to me. .and they served me a non-Turkey, standard corned beef. Very good food..the Chinese food is the best...but what does it take to get a order at the grill?

Oh, dear. What happened to Pasta Cucina? Gone is their customized green salad offering. The salads are now reduced to your average, basic jumbo. Chicken, chicken, chicken. Arent there other proteins? Had my heart set on shrimp but not an option. So I settled for the chicken Ceasar wrap. Settled is the optimum word. Was there parm? Was there a dressing? Oh, found a smidgen of each in one corner. Youll not see me there again.

It is a cool place to learn at. I get to be hands-on and do what i am actually learning.

I-Square is a great concept of a Food Court that would normally be located some where in a shopping mall, but instead is located on the outskirts of a residential neighborhood. There are several restaurants in this newly developed building that is going Green - Theres electric chargers in the parking lot for those who drive electric and hybrid vehicles, and large wind turbines that generates power to the building.Theres a variety of tastes inside, like a coffee shop, ice cream shop, sandwiches, Italian, Asian, and wine & drinks.Also during the Summer season, theres live music playing in the court yard in front of the building.

Great place to grab all sorts of food. They burgers to chinese to pasta, and even some of the best ice cream out there. The rooftop has some really great views along with a rooftop bar. Amazing!

I-Square is a blessing for the community! It has a very comfortable atmosphere, great food varieties, polite, and courteous staff. The owners Mike and Wendy Nolan can often be seen working with their employees and always have time to say hi to you. We have made it a tradition to go and get ice-cream there after my daughter finishes one of plays.

The BLTs are fantastic price right and worth every dollar the bacon is Big its Chris the lettuce is fresh nice size sliced tomatoes great absolutely great sandwich

Service was terrible. I was charged for one thing, then after waiting for the buzzer to go off. I am told they cannot make my meal, and without offering a refund I made a alternative decision that was cheaper than the original order and I was not reimbursed.Food was bland, over salted, and burnt. Overpriced to begin with.Same goes for the ice cream decent selection, expensive, rude employee

Did you know that you can cycle just about anywhere in Irondequoit from i-Square, and it will take no longer than 20 minutes? Its a great spot to meet, start and end rides from, then gather to eat and drink. Choices abound, and rooftop seating awaits you!

I opted for a chicken caesar wrap from the pasta station in their food court. I also ordered a coffee (they brew finger lakes onsite) and it was the perfect midday pick me up. The space is all about community and I even took a moment to go hop on one of the energy powered bikes upstairs!

Just went in to get lunch and coffee and was accosted by not one but TWO workers informing us we could not enter without masks. This place needs to read the new CDC guidelines and let people make up their own minds about masks. This is still America. No need to tell you we chose to walk out without spending a dime at this establishment.

Went for the first time and it will be the last time. We ordered a hot dog and a grilled cheese. Over 45 mins later our order still was not done. A customer who ordered before us, her order also was not done and was told her order would be another 25 mins. That means at least another 35-40 more mins for our order. My husband was treated very rudely by the owners. The way the female owner handled the situation was very unprofessional to say the least. She definitely did not no how to defuse the situation of many upset customers. Rather apologize for how long it was taking and offer a refund, she took the approach of being rude. My husband asked for his money back as did others. If I could rate our experience a zero, I would.

AMAZING service! We went to market grill and Hong Kong one and they were very flexible with our online order. When we arrived we attempted to pay with Apple Pay and since that wasn’t available they were very flexible and the employee Morgan was especially kind with all the questions we asked. Not the first time there but as usual the food was AMAZING!!!

Family favorite. I love that they have gluten free options. The only downside is they took my favorite sandwich off the market grill menu (grilled veggie). I also wish they had a gf substitute for their chips that come with the sandwich. Their prices are already a little high (which I dont mind because its quality food), and they charge extra for gf bread. I just wish theyd offer a simple substitute like a small bag of Lays chips.Ice cream is amazing too. Best mint chip around!

I love I-Square, I just think they are extremely pricey. The food isnt all that great, but they do have banana ice cream.

Attended a bridal shower. The food and service at this event was excellent. The bar attendant was very helpful and efficient. We all had a wonderful time at this venue.

We take our kids here for ice cream, set up Girl Scout cookie booths, meet clients for lunch or afterwork drinks and have epic goal setting sessions on the roof in the summer. The food is amazing...and you are always bound to run into someone you know!

Excellent addition to Irondequoit. Very friendly. They hire a lot of students from the high school. Nice. Small wine bar. Ice cream, Asian, gourmet burgers, rooftop seating. Lots of room outside for children to run and family events.

Mike and Wendy Nolan have done a wonderful job with this establishment. I describe the market as a food court but nicer. Its fun to go with a group and everyone has lots of choices. The ice cream is purity from ithaca, which is affordable and delicious. I recommend getting the chicken Caesar salad from t pasta place. It comes with the most delicious garlic roll and sweet butter.

Great place for coffee and other food. I work remotely and its one of my favorite spots to visit when I need to get a coffee or lunch.

I was there for an event called the Flower City Frag Swap and got to see this beautiful new building. Great venue! Convenient parking.

I really enjoy the idea and atmosphere of I-Square but there are almost no options for vegans, I ordered pasta and broccoli and got all the way home and found it topped with cheese. I wasn’t asked if I wanted cheese or was it stated on the menu. It would be awesome to see at least one or two vegan meals on the menus!

Love this place! Being an Irondequoit resident myself, I always felt there werent many food and restaurant options, locally. This place, which is very family friendly, allows a group to sit and eat various foods together, as there are multiple food options (including a wine bar!) Parking is never an issue and they have fun events outside and on the stage throughout the summer and fall. Great addition to the town!

I-Square is an Irondequoit institution. It is our town center and it is the focus of a thriving suburban community. It is also becoming the essence of our identity.I-Square has everything. Food court. Coffee and teas. I-Scream for Ice Cream. Conference and banquet rooms. The Imaginarium. And so much more.

First time here. Nice variety of food options at I-Square, so you should be able to find something to choose from if you go with a group in the mood for different things...and of course top it all off with ice cream! I had lunch at Pasta Cucina with my 2.5yo. I enjoyed the penne bolognese and my daughter enjoyed the mac & cheese kids meal. Food was very good, but keep in mind the serving size for the kids meal was the same as the regular single serving so it was a lot for a 2.5yo. We were probably better off ordering something I knew she would like as well and split it with her since the serving sizes are pretty generous. We will definitely return and try out one of the other food options or maybe stop by some evening for a ladies night and try out a wine flight at The Reserve Wine Bar.

Love this place. We walk up here for ice cream and a brew in the summer, and we can’t wait to be able to get back to doing that!

Interesting place lots of restaurants, cool to sit up on the roof in the summertime. Have eaten at several of the different restaurants all good food.

Decent but not particularly nice space with several independent food counters. The food at these counters is not good. The Chinese stall had lackluster sesame chicken, the pasta bar gave me horrible indigestion. The wine bar space is decent but definitely has a mall food court vibe to it.

This place probably has the best Chinese food on Rochester. I would absolutely go there. The portions are great with decent prices. The staff is friendly as well.

The people there were nice and those many selections if you didnt know what you wanted they presented everything beautifully but the quality of the food was not so great my pancakes were dry and the French toast tasted like there wasnt any egg in it the syrup was way too sweet and liquidy and the bacon tasted microwaved tasted microwave. The coffee savings way too sweetie even though I ordered a sugar free flavoring the coffee itself needed no sugar at all and the flavorings for the coffee tasted cheap all together I would suggest going somewhere else for breakfast

A great resource for our town, it has been the perfect addition. Whether Im going for ice cream with the family, a drink with friends, or a nice dinner with the wife, I-Square is the place to go - definitely give it a try if youre in the area!

Amazing food and drinks in a setting that can be as classy or as casual as you like. The rooftop garden is spectacular. Pasta Cucina has some of the best, most affordable Italian food in Rochester.

Every time I have gotten take out here. Food is over cooked, cold and gross. I got a coopers plate most recently and the mac was most certainly a pasta salad.

I-Square is the anchor to a growing commercial development in the Town of Irondequoit, NY.The existing buildings include a groundbreaking sustainably designed community center, called the Imaginarium, that boasts a number of unique features: on site alternative power generation (solar, wind), a free spinning center whose bikes generate power for the building, a cafe featuring all electric power kitchen, on site water collection and storage to reduce run-off and water waste, porous pavement, among other things! The building has been studied by other towns and businesses as a model for sustainable design.The other existing building in the I-Square development features a wine car, a cafe, and a food court. The food court offers freshly prepared Italian, Chinese, and American bistro restaurants, along with an ice cream parlor. There is a roof deck, which connects to the roof of the Imaginarium, where patrons can bring their food and drinks. Ive enjoyed each of the food venues at I-Square. My family visits them regularly.Adjacent to the I-Square buildings is a park with a bandstand, where local and visiting bands often perform, sometimes in collaboration with the famous House of Guitars, located across the park.During a recent tour of the facilities, the owner explained that in the next 2-3 years, an adjacent building to I-Square -between the Imagiarium and Titus Avenue- will be demolished and replaced with a new structure to house more local businesses, which will connect to the existing buildings. The owner is also in the process of opening a local brewery within a stones throw of I-Square, as of the time of this writing.
