This place rates a 5+ for workmanship. The installer we had was one of the best I have seen! He treated our home like it was his. Shane arrived when on time and left the work area clean every day. So why a 2-star review?Customer service is HORRIBLE! We have not experienced this type of service from a service business. From the beginning. We arrived at the showroom in late January. The sales staff was polite and helpful. After the sale and down payment is where the horror story began. We were told 4-6 weeks after we paid half the bill which was several thousands of dollars. I contacted them in the middle of March but scheduler would NOT respond to calls or emails. I also called and emailed the owner, Mike. Nothing!! No response. Frustrating.We finally got our A1 installer to work on our project end of April though end of May. After job was complete, I contacted owner again. This time he responded immediately. He basically said he was sorry. If you can stomach poor customer service this your place.

Though they did a nice job, they charged two hours of manpower ($150+) for one man to do a job that took about 30 minutes (sealing a countertop). The second serviceman came late and was there for 15 minutes but the job was mostly done. They also measured the sink in bathroom which tops about 5 minutes. I did call to correct it but they said the job took two hours of manpower. For a company that’s been around as long as they have, I would expect a more honest account of their labor.

I’ve always been very pleased with the kind and very experienced staff at DeGeus. They stand by their work and are always happy to help solve any problems, even the most minor issues. Mike is incredibly busy, but he follows up and is honest, helpful and is highly knowledgeable and experienced in this field. I’m so thankful I can rely on them after the tile has been placed!

We went to Degeus in search of the perfect backsplash for our kitchen and a quartz remnant for a countertop. The customer service was great and we have no complaints. They offered several suggestions, let us take home multiples samples, showed us what grout colors would actually look like with the tile, and were just all around extremely helpful. They arent over the top pushy salespeople and just let us look around until we wanted assistance. They have numerous quartz and granite remnants, which ended up saving us a ton of money. We would definitely recommended them for your tile and countertop needs!

I have worked with DeGeus Tile & Granite for 20 years and now with Carpets plus for the past several years thru my role as a Kitchen & Bath Designer at Beyond Kitchens. Building and maintaining relationships in our industry is key! And finding a company that you have worked with for so long speaks volumes to their customer service, quality of work & listening to our needs. Remarkably through nearly 20 years in business and lots of growth, they have maintained the personal touch that sets them apart!

Customer service needs improvement. Communication is poor and tone has a condescending element. Tilers and workers on the ground are great! Front desk staff can do better

Enter at own risk. The parking lot is filled with huge pot holes which isnt a good first impression. You would think with the outrageous price they want for tile that they could fix their parking lot! I walked into the store and wandered around for a while. No one greeted me or asked if there was anything they could help me with. I guess Ill take my business elsewhere.

Received friendly professionsl help, good selection of stone. Felt good about the value of the product. Fourth time making a granite purchase here.

I use the Poor/Fair only because there is nothing lower. There is nothing Fair about DeGeus. Completely unhelpfull. All information had to be dragged out of them, and they still did not give adequate infofmation for anyone not a tile expert to understand. They were very slow calling back with answers to any questions. Their quote for instalation was Highway Robbery. They were $1000 higher than the next closest bid and 3 times higher than the installer I chose. In addition they did not have the bid correct. They forgot to include several important items. After they found out I was not having them install, their attitude got worse. Use DeGeus AT YOUR PERIL.
