A real diner. 5 bucks for egg and olive on white toast. 8.00 for an onion ring dressed burger. Super nice young waitress. The place is clean. And the place had alot of patrons. 1st time there. I hope to go back soon..
Came here for the first time on a Saturday morning for a breakfast date with my son. I love trains so the interior decorations added so much charm. The diner is comfortable and homey and extremely well socially distanced with clear barriers everywhere. They even provide sanitizer at each table.The waitress could not be sweeter. Attentive yet not overly so. Took great care of us. Really great service.Food. Delicious! Im positive the biscuits were made within minutes of our order. Fluffy, fresh, so good! I was most impressed with the stuffed red velvet French toast. Usually diners kill you with sweetness from the filling and you leave feeling ill. Not these. The filling was perfect and you can tell the chef cares about what hes doing (a quote from my teenager)lol.Im sorry it took us so long to discover this place but Im glad we finally did!

My husband and I were looking for a new diner to try. I searched Google and came across Railway Station Diner. We decided to give it a try since the reviews are really good. I am so glad we did! The food was delicious and you get a big serving at a low price! Our waitress was very polite and attentive. I highly recommend the Railway Station Diner. Oh and we were lucky enough to see a train go by! :)

I try to frequent this place weekly. Used to bring my kids here for Breakfast once in awhile before school however there off to College now. Cant beat the prices one of the best tasting and priced, 2 eggs, 2 sausage patties, home fries, toast and coffee in town, The Farmers Omelet is a nice treat when I like a change.

Absolutely loved the experience here. Fast, friendly, clean, and delicious. Best part was we had a huge breakfast plate with coffee for $6.25. Our server was so friendly and attentive to us. Reminded me of old school greasy spoon diner. It is a must going in the area.
We have always liked the ambience of this classic diner. Have not eaten inside for a while, but have ordered take out which works fine. Just call to order and pickup inside or at window.
We like the Railway Station Diner a lot. Great food (we have only eaten breakfast) We dont make it very often due to how far away it is and its limited hours.

Since the covid pandemic I try to eat at local restaurant to support small businesses. On many occasions I’ve been disappointed or not treated nicely. But My daughter and I stopped There for a quick bite to eat Around 1:30, 30 minutes before closing. We were treated by a very nice waitress who took care of us. As we were eating and about 6 minutes to 2 pm she sat 3 tables after asking the cook if it was ok seeing it was almost closing time.The cook okayed it and they were seated. I haven’t seen that in years!!! She was so nice about it to the customers one table even had 5 guests! It just made me feel so happy to see a business run like this. I’ve been told in past from other restaurants we are closing and the still had an hour. I think this restaurant is great not to mention the food was great my daughter ate everything and she’s picky. Thanks for a great local business experience! We will be back for more!

My boyfriend and I love coming here for breakfast! The staff is always so friendly, the food is consistently delicious, and they make you feel like a part of their family. Especially during Covid times, the staff makes sure everything is up to cdc guidelines. I highly recommend trying this place! It will become your favorite breakfast spot.

The food is delicious!! Love the creative and tasty specials too! Online menu convenient to browse, and Facebook page pictures to make your mouth water! We ordered 8 meals at once (breakfast and lunch items) and everything was perfectly packaged for us to go at the drive thru window. So convenient and safe too! Everyone working was super friendly and kind. We will be back!

Absolutely the best place to eat for a great portion and great price. Food is cooked perfectly and service is impeccable. Price is crazy inexpensive to where you look at bill to see if anything was missing from the bill. Kudos to the Rail Diner for being around as long as they have and having the best food around. Great diner for good breakfast. Spent week in area and had breakfast everyday. This is the mor ing hangout for the senior crowd. The restaurant did an excellent job with all the covid precautions. The waitresses were excellent and very friendly. Always quick to refill your coffee. I had array of breakfasts, from Belgin waffles, to omelets to eggs. Everything cooked perfectly. One day had the ham and eggs and was impressed with the nice slab they served. The only fault is their homefries are basically just sliced and fried up with butter. That’s the typical NY style I find. I rather cubed and seasoned on the grill but they were still good with some salt/pepper and ketchup. Would definitely stop back in when in the area.

What a great place!! Met friends here for breakfast and it was awesome! Our waitress was kind and very efficient. Catered our every whim. The breakfast was served hot and quick and the eggs benedict was fabulous! She kept our coffee cups filled and took pictures of our group. Great place.
Great breakfast option. We had a larger group of people and they accommodated us quickly and without a long wait. They dont rush you here, however our waiter was quite busy and didnt stop back for refills right away. We also had to wait for our check for awhile, had to go to the register and ask them to have someone bring it. This was my first time here, so maybe it was just an off day. All of our food was great!

Over the years I have come to the railroad diner. Normally when I order here it is great service. However today not only was my order wrong but when I called and tried to gain an understanding whomever answered the phone was incredibly rude to me. Her tone was abrasive and she was incredibly short with me. I was completely disappointed with the service and how I was treated as a black man on MLK day of all days. I’m not sure I will be back anytime soon. This is all after I left a tip because I love the place so much and I didn’t even dine in. Hurt dissatisfied and disappointed.

I have been to a lot of diners and this is without a doubt the best one in the Rochester area. Dont let the outside appearance turn you off, (not the prettiest building) the breakfast food and wait staff are second to none. I have never waited more than 30 seconds to be seated and never waited more than 10 minutes for food to arrive. Admittedly I have not eaten much of their lunch menu, but their breakfast is outstanding.
The food was amazing & the prices were cheap! We had a party of 6 for mothers day breakfast, and though it took maybe 15 minutes for seating such a big group, it was still worth the wait. The omelets are huge and come with choice of potato and toast (cinnamon raisin bread is offered here)!!

Cant go wrong with the Railway. Great value, good portions, and the staff is the BEST. They can be busy at times (because theyre awesome) but they know what theyre doing. Try them if you havent!
This place was great! We were greeted by a friendly waitress as we entered, and got great service throughout. The food was good, filling, and the bill did not break the bank! So all in all a good experience and Im sure Ill be back one day
