It was really crampt during Free comic book day!.I knew and worked for Ralph DiBenardo decades ago when he owned the Comic Relief in Portsmouth, NH. He does have a good head for business and Jetpack Comics survived the pandemic through online ordering. I read a recent interview in the Hippo 🦛 Press 🗞️ newspaper and I 🤔 thought I would stop by, see 🙈 the store, which I havent visited in years, get a free 🆓 comic and search 🔍🔎 for a comic book/graphic novel I was looking for. Fosters Daily Democrat 📰 was there taking pictures.The staff were very helpful and I stumped them with my question about a comic book I was looking for. Together, we found out its an online comic that is now very expensive. They like there boss from the way they talk about him.If you are a comic book, fanboy or gaming enthusiast, I recommend this store. I like the Batman pinball machine they have there.

Jetpack is the best place to go for your comic book or gaming needs! They have a wide variety of genres for both and I have never had a bad experience there ever. My all time favorite comic book store but it is so much more than just that. I cant wait to bring my daughter to free comic book day its so cool to go check everything out and enjoy a great place with a great crew of people who work there and have always been able to answer any questions I had. Highly recommend! First off the staff - when I walk in they know my name, my pull list, what I order and I go in every other month and my pull list isnt huge. They have customer service down. An amazing experience, tons of merchandise and most of all the best in the business. How I am treated makes me recommend Jetpack highly AND makes me keep coming back. Jetpack anything com I like this place its where I go for my comics and collecting my toys . They also have a section for play games and having fun with friends there cool people to.

Our family have been customers for years from our oldest children to our 9 year old which we took a few days ago for his birthday. He was so excited! As parents we were impressed by their safety considerations with the pandemic - we appreciated it and felt comfortable going and will go again soon because of it. Everything has always been very organized and clean with an awesome variety of things and collectables. They have something for everyone. Our brains are happy when we go there and our brains leave with a smile. Friendly and knowledgeable service which trickles down from the owners - it is a positive place! We are grateful and lucky to have a place like this in the area and worth visiting if you are not from the area.

This is the best place for miles around to get your geek on. even when you want to explore graphic novels, get recommendations, or some gaming miniatures this is the place. The staff are very caring and always willing to help you find a new story to dive into. I highly recommend them and thats no easy feat coming from this reviewer.

Dont recommend. Went to get some pokemon cards and they were absolutely scalping. Wholesale for a tin of shining fates is $30 and they were selling them for $60. There is a difference between being a private business to make profit and being absolute scum and doubling the price because the demand is high.

Traded in some cards from Magic the Gathering and it took several days to get a price on the cards. When I did finally receive a buy price I sold them without a hitch ( or so I thought.). I now have a -$55 account balance because the check they gave me for $30 bounced. So they got my cards for free and Im stuck paying over what I was supposed to get, in order to get my account back in the positive. SMH, accident or not, your a legitimate business. Things like this should not be occurring.

Gone here a few times now and they always have what I want. I just moved to the area recently and Im a big DnD player. Its nice to be able to get miniatures and sourcebooks here.

I cant say enough good things about Jetpack! Ive been coming here for many years now and unless Im in another state theres no other comic book shop I go to. The staff are always friendly and are super knowledgeable about all things comics, games, collectables, movies, etc. They have a HUGE selection of basically everything youre looking for. They also have a game room out back which is awesome for those into card and roll playing games. They recently held a meet-and-greet with the author Joe Hill and that was amazing. I highly recommend stopping by if youre in Rochester or the surrounding areas. You wont be disappointed!!

One of the best places in Rochester. The selection is amazing and the staff is always helpful. They have something for everyone. Free comic book day is one of the things I look forward to every year because of the amount of Joy it brings the kids and for that matter adults. They do a great job with that and it certainly brings interesting people into town doing cosplay. The signings that theyve had are certainly a great thing for the area I hope you dont get that purple thing unless you end up going to the comic book convention and many dont have a way to do that.

Ordered some prerelease items out-of-state. Even through delays to the pandemic, recieved items quickly. Store communicated clearly how they were handling delays and product allocations. Would certainly purchase from them again in the future. Competitive pricing and great service.

One of it favorite comic shops. All the best comics and great toys, etc. The people who work there are always super helpful and friendly. I love how they organize the Free Comic Book day in Rochester. Its so Great. The only downside to Jetpack Comics is the $10 minimum to pay with a credit/debit card.

Issued me a refund of my preorder of Jumpstart @$90 a box (I ordered 8 as soon as they went on sale) Now that distribution is low and the price Skyrocketed to $199 a box they refunded me all 8 boxes leaving no possibility of getting the price anywhere else that was promised at preorder.The reason they do this is solely so they can sell MY PRE-ORDER boxes to someone else at $190+ a box!!! Completely skirts the preorder process and is totally against the rules of a WPN gamestore. Buyer Beware! As a player I have taken hits many times on preorders never cancelling on the shop I ordered with due to ethics apparently this shop does not practice the same methodology and ethics as I.Shame on you! I hope wizards revokes your WPN license!

Helpful people, a diverse selection of various comic and gaming related stuff. Great for kids and adult geeks alike. They have a big open space for gaming next door. It usually seems empty, but I must always go when there are no games.It would be great if they offered more younger kids games on weekends or earlier on a weeknight.

Home. Thats usually what I refer Jetpack Comics to. I remember when Ralph was back at Paperback Bazaar and then that place closed and sad times were here in the seacoast area as there were no other options. And then, twelve years ago Ralph opened Jetpack and life was good again.Ive made friends here, Rich and Jon are great dudes who always go above and beyond when Im in the shop. My dad and I have been going in since Jetpack opened and Ralph always asks how my dad is doing when hes not with me. Courteous doesnt begin to describe it. Theyre like family. Rude, crude, bad dudes, but family.The amount of sales they have is impressive. The, practically town wide, Free Comic Book Day Mega Event that they put on every year rivals a comic convention. The charities that they help every year is awe-inspiring. Rochester has gotten better because of places like Jetpack and Collect-iques. Dont listen to 1-star keyboard warrior, go to the shop and experience the place for yourself.

I used to shop on their ebay site. They had great prices and customer service. Recently their prices have seemed extremely high and I reached out to them to see why. They sent me some sarcastic answer about how Ill have to catch next years sale. They have obviously forgot how to value their customers. I am a seasoned Ebay buyer/seller . DO NOT SUPPORT THIS BUSINESS ANY LONGER!!! The response they gave me below is just to cover their butt on poor customer service. A business looking to continue business with someone who has spent good money with them would have tried to earn or save their business rather than to say move on and take care. What a joke.

Best comic store Ive been to by far. TONS of stuff, staff with big personalities, events all the time, and really a nice small town community atmosphere (especially for a store so highly regarded and well known in the comic community). Stay there for a half hour, and youll see the staff joking around with regulars, and regulars talking to other regulars- its a place where everyone knows your name (if you go there often enough).

I cannot accurately describe in words how awesome and amazing Jetpack Comics & Games really is! Not only do they have a plethora of spectacular goodies, they have a fantastic, knowledgeable staff as well. Want to know when a character first appears in a comic series? Someone there knows. Having a hard time remembering the name of a comic or game but you can describe it? Theyll find it for you! If youve never been to the store, you are doing yourself a disservice. Five stars isnt nearly enough!

Jetpack is by far the best comic shop on the Seacoast! They not only carry all mainstream DC and Marvel comics but also carry a HUGE selection of indie graphic novels and comics as well. The guys running the shop are incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help you find your next favorite comic.
