Awesome staff. Came in with a special request for a silly labeled wine as a gift, all 3 of the staff members working at the time helped me look for something and even checked the basement too. We found a couple that worked great!

I stop by here a couple times a month. They have a great selection and friendly staff as well. I am bourbon guy and often search for rare bourbons. I picked up a couple of great ones at great prices.

There are 2 liquor stores in the area that have my wine always in stock and this so happens to be one of them as well. Nothing negative to share about this place. Small business, more than worth the trip. Owners make you feel comfortable. Nice to have a place like these where they make an effort to get to know each and every customer.

They had the wine I like and every resonable, employee was very helpful in help finding the wine I needed.

Found out about this place when I moved into the area and have been shopping here almost exclusively now. This place has a well variety on different liquors, wines and whiskeys and you are almost for sure to find some of your favorites or spend a good deal of time exploring new options to change things up. Staff is great, kind, friendly and I love talking with them. A definite recommendation if your looking for a new go to spot.

Small store with competitive prices

My go to Liquor store. Dont let the small size of the place fool you. They have pretty much everything you could need. Great prices and and the family run staff is friendly and always happy to help with anything you need.

I love the various selection that they have. The one thing I am very into is the pre-mixed ready made drinks. The Owners make you feel comfortable. Nice to have a place like this where they make an effort to get to know each and every customer and bond.

What a great experience at Gates Liquor! Joe Jr. and the staff are always very welcoming and available to answer questions and/or provide recommendations. Regarding the selection, they frequently have bourbon offerings that are rarely/if ever available at other locations. Gates Liquor is always the first choice for all of my spirit needs!

My girlfriend recently got into trying different scotches, so a friend suggested that I stop by Gates Liquor. Gates Liquor is a nice neighborhood liquor store. We switched to Gates Liquor from a larger store based on consistently available inventory and good prices.

I love wine, but I dont know Brand names that well. Although the attendant, Joe, was occupied, he graciously came over to assist me and gave me a crash course on wines. Its always a pleasure to stop into Gates Liquor. If J is working, then hell kindly greet you and engage in good conversation. ( I did not, however, have a good interaction with the sister my very first visit. He has more than made up for that.) While the prices are a bit high, its location is convenient, its selection is varied, and its a good place to purchase high quality liquor.

Easily my favorite liquor store. Ive gotten my drinks here for years. Joe jr. Is incredibly knowledgeable and patient in helping me pick out anything from wine for cooking, difference between Tennessee and Irish whiskey, or finding something to drink when I dont have a lot of money.
