People that work here are always very helpful and knowledgeable. The owner really know his stuff. His past suggestions were on the ball. Its a smaller place but has a pretty large selection. They offer a pretty good deal if you buy a mix and match case of wine as well.

I adore Pinnacle. They have a talent for picking wines I get really excited about. They managed to get in a blueberry sparkling wine from Maine which Ive been trying to acquire for years. They also have a strong selection of natural wines.

Nice store. Not huge but well stocked. Staff always friendly and helpful. Appreciate the good selection of NY wines, which isn’t a given at a lot of liquor stores. My favorite part of going there is the bargain bins of wine by the registers. I always find something fun & cheap!

They are super friendly and are always happy to give advice. My only regret is that I did not ask out the cute guy that works there.

Ordered wine from them online and they sold it to other customers. Handled it by saying we oversold your wine by accident should we cancel your order. Seem like nice people, but wasnt happy with how they handled the situation. Got some of my wine though so some stars for sending portion of order.

Reacting to the person who remarked that Pinnacle is overpriced - Absolutely not! For their size and the quality of their products and service, their products are very fairly priced. In fact, compared to very small shops in areas further from Rochester, the prices are way better! And there is no other place that matches the warmth and knowledgeable assistance provided by the owners and people who work there. I would (and do) go out of my way for their great selection and service. They are the best!

This is amongst the best liquor stores in Rochester. Prices are usually fair and good selection given the size of the store. For hard to find bottles your better off going to Buffalo.

This may be the best little liquor and wine shop in the town. The selection is very eclectic - rare scotch and bourbon varieties, nice selection of French and California wines, and a very knowledgeable proprietor who can help with selection. He visits the distilleries and vineyards and knows his stuff. His prices are good as well. Parking is easy too.

These people really know wine. I always learn a thing or two. Dont be afraid to ask about a recommendation either. I recommend roscato. 🍷

I visited this location 2 days before the New Year. I am not a drinker but went to pick up some champagne and wines for my New Year party. There was a young man at this establishment who helped me pick out what I was looking for. He was very knowledgeable and patient. He helped me for a good 30 min. I appreciated his time and the patience he had for me, as I am not alcohol savvy. Bottom line the alcohol he helped me pick was a hit- everyone loved the choices. A nice medium sized liquor store right in the village of Brighton. they are fairly well-stocked with wines and liquors and will likely have whatever youre going there for. The service here is always courteous and excellent and they will help you to pick out a wine for your needs.

Walked in looking for a particular type of wine as a gift (White Burgundy) and was quickly greeted by a friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable employee who took me exactly where I needed to go, and presented me with several options of what I was looking for, across a good range of prices. He also helped me make a great selection based on information only an enthusiast would know. The cashier then gift-wrapped the bottle at no additional charge, and did a nice job with the ribbon Top notch operation.

Pinnacle is an exceptional wine store. Visiting Rochester and wanting to buy some good New York State wine, I found Pinnacle on the internet. As soon as I entered, I saw a great selection. Furthermore, every area -- Italy, France, California...etc. was strong: highly select, with good prices and knowledgeable surprises. I wish we had this wine store in Pennsylvania, where Im from. But thats not the end of the story. I left my wallet in the store and only realized this when I stopped at a gas station in PA. When I called the store, I was immediately greeting with my name and we have it. Furthermore, the store next-day Fedexd the wallet. Great wines, great people! The best.

Really, really wanted to have a good experience here. Unfortunately the 3 customer service people made that impossible. No greeting when I walked in, and after wandering the store looking for a specific item I had to interrupt their conversation to get some help. When I found out they didnt have what I was looking for I thought they would recommend something similar or offer another suggestion...but nothing. He just walked away. Ive never met anyone less interested in making a sale.They have a large selection and theyre close to home...plus I love supporting small businesses. But its probably the first time Ive walked out of a liquor store empty handed (yes I know how that sounds). Maybe they should have offered to help before I was 6 inches from walking out of the store.

Do yourself a favor and drive the extra .5 miles to a different store its extremely overpriced.
