I went to Ray Rays on 2/12 and purchased a $10 bottle of bubbly. I placed the bottle on the counter while I went in my purse to get lottery numbers I intended to play. I made my lottery selections and went home only to realize I had forgotten my purchase. I returned to the store, the drink was no longer on the counter. I told the owner I left my purchase on the counter, and she was not willing to help. I was told “it was not her fault, and I needed to watch my things” . I was so put off by this response being that I have been a paying customer recognized by face for the past 3 years. How could I be treated so poorly after being a loyal paying customer? Businesses like this profit off of the community, but won’t service the people of the community with any regard to unique circumstances. I walked out with a feeling that as a customer I didn’t matter, I knew I would never return to this business again. Lesson learned, I will spend my money where my money matters. Where I matter. It was my Birthday and I was upset because after being in the service industry for years I know what good service looks and feels like . You won’t get that here. Businesses that care respond differently. I won’t be foolish to shop here again!
