I have a Hughes & Kettner 100 watt amp that developed a loud hum once turned on. After digging into the issue, I found the Amp speaker was still working fine so it was probably the circuit board. I found Fretboard Rehab with a quick google search and Jason got right back to me with email response. I live a good ways from Rochester NH but I dropped off my amp and a couple days later he called with a price for repair. I brought in a vintage EHX Small Stone phase shifter pedal that crapped out on me. Jacob fixed it straight away. That went so well I brought in an epiphone Tbird bass that I bought for $50 to see if he could make it half-way playable. While I was waiting he straightened the neck and adjusted the bridge and it honestly plays amazing. I highly recommend Jacob whether the work is big or small and his prices are very reasonable.

Jacob replaced the transformer in my Egnator head.He used a high quality Mercury tansformer. It works perfect, short turnaround, all around a pleasant experience. Price was more than fair. I HIGHLY recommend Jacob for all of your guitar and electronic needs. I cant say enough about how knowledgeable he is with anything guitars, and musical gear. This guy can fix anything! My first experience with Jacob was last year when I wanted to modify my Cry Baby Wah pedal with an LED. He did it for an excellent price. After playing it for awhile I felt it needed and adjustment and he worked with me to get it just the way I wanted for no charge. Thats the kind of business I appreciate.My second encounter was when my footswitch stopped working on my Marshall TSL 100W amp. He found the footswitch problem and fixed it, and also discovered that one of the tubes wasnt working at all in the amp and educated me on the science of tube amps. This guy knows his stuff!And just recently I bought a used EVH Wolfgang Special Edition guitar, and the volume knob turned loosely, and the action was not good. He replaced the knob and set up the guitar just the way I liked it, which is not easy with a Floyd Rose tremolo unit. On every occasion when he worked on my equipment, he took the time to explain in detail what needed to be done and how he did it.Basically, this guys know everything regarding guitars and electronics, and goes out of his way to make sure that you are satisfied with the results, or he will do what it takes to make that happen. And his price for his services are very reasonable. I am very pleased with everything he has worked on, and will trust him with all of my equipment in the future. Additionally, I was able to spend some time with him while he worked on my gear, and found him to be a great source for any music knowledge, and hes a great conversationalist to boot. If you need any modifications or something repaired, hes your guy!

Brought my guitar in to have a fret level. Was told it would take 7 days, got a call that it was ready in 4. Very happy with the outcome. Plays as good if not better then when it was brand new. Cost was exactly as quoted. Jacob is very friendly and knowledgeable about guitars and how to repair. Would recommend and defiantly will be bringing any future repairs here.

Jacob is a magician. My Gibson acoustic separated along a crack left by an old (shoddy) headstock reattachment. When Jacob said he could make the guitar look like nothing had ever happened to it, I was skeptical. Sure enough, my Gibson is back, only a couple weeks later, and it looks and plays like new. Jacob also did some setup work and pickup installs for me, but the headstock reattachment was especially impressive. I highly recommend his services.
