This place is noisy as hell. It is very hard to talk with customer service. Also, It is dusty and it is better to wear a mask while in the store. My review is about my last experience and previous experiences. We set up a will-call (to have the carpenter pick up the item he is installing, after we paid for it). although we and he did everything correctly and he had all the info they needed, they did not let him take the item and made him delay for hours over 2 different days. A few days ago, we went there for a some hardware. We asked help from an employee and he made a good effort, but he was not in charge in the area, so he ask for an associate to help us. We waited for about one hour, we asked three times and nobody was able to help us. We decide to buy the items, but result they were the wrong item and when when we were asking for the right one, they say they did not have in the store. I think this is very unpleasant and it feels like shopping there is not worth. it for the time spent there. I suggest that Home Depot should focus on improve the customer service skills to their employees
So far so good! Ordered my cub cadet online. Put together and ready on time. Pick up process quick and easy. Every employee I talked to and personally spoke to was pleasant. Just pray the mower does what it is intended to do. Only time will tell.
Horrible customer service but a decent result and price. Bought a grill on Sunday online and signed up for their (advertised) free assembly. Called Monday to see when it would be completed, no one knew. Transferred me around until I finally hung up. When I called back no one answered. Called back Tuesday, no one answered. Called Wednesday morning and finally a very rude woman informed me they only assemble on Thursdays. Asked if I can just come pick it up and she said yeah but it wont be assembled. Told her fine I just dont want to wait any more. Got there and they just gave me a pre-built model that was sitting outside. Works fine but the process was very undesirable.
I like this place. It is big and noisy, but it is a warehouse and has so much to choose from and I can usually find an employee if I need help. If you decide to use the curbside pickup as I have on several occasions, it has always been fast and the people curtious.
Hello, I received great customer service with professionalism from Brian when calling the number for a garage door opener install. The garage door company installer arrived within two hours and had it installed. Anthony did a great job with the install. Thanks Brian and HD!
This review is specific to Home Depot’s handling of RIDGIDs LSA not the associates or the store itself. I have nothing but good experiences there. I dropped off a table saw for repair where it had to be shipped to Atlanta for service. The saw came back with an unknown substance totally covering the bottom of the table and deep scratches all over the front. The associate said they couldn’t speak to it or what happened. Sent a saw in great condition to be returned one that looks like it was left out in the rain, thrown around and had a can of paint explode on it.
They have a lot of good options but irritating not to find some items affordable. Their gardening tools are expensive to my taste. Their ceramic and glass cabinet door knobs are ridiculous, $5-5.50 each. I can find them on Amazon and a bunch of other decor places for under $3. The people they hire are mostly nice.
Great store. I went to buy some customized paint for my large bedroom, and the paint department was already present awaiting a customer. Very professional, friendly, and on task. Took less than 5minutes to mix n shake my paint of 2 gallons. I even asked where to find hand trucks while I was waiting, and he knew exactly where to look, great customer service. Even at the self check out touch screen I was professionally greeted and guided as to how to use the self check out screen. Great staff and professional. It was very busy in there for a Sunday, but the store looks organized and clean. Thanks for a great experience. I will buy my paint here instead of at Wal mart.
Love coming to this location! Everything is well stocked and I have to say the flowers are always looking healthy and watered. Bought over $100 worth of flowers here last month and everything is so hearty and strong and took so well to my garden! Staff is always nearby if you need help and always easy to find what you need!
Ive had multiple issues at this location, but my last interaction was the final straw. I was in my way to pick something up and needed a dolly. I called this location and went through the automated system. The phone rang for 5 minutes straight and then they hung up on me. I called again and the same thing happened. Im a Lowes/Northern tool guy for life now.
During a store order, the assistant manager, Ms. Jermily seemed to upset working with us. Apparently this was a complicated order for her or she was just irritated. expected better treatment dropping almost

The floor personnel is unwilling to help, if you can find them (yes, thats their job) so much so, the cashier assisted us and gave us a discount for the inconvenience after she got frustrated calling for the floor personnel. Sadly, it has been like that for years, but to their credit it has been getting better under the new store manager. This is the reason I gave the Rock Hill location 3 stars. Heres to hoping they read this review and use it has a training tool since sadly that is what is lacking.

Another great Home Depot. We have moved quite a bit. Home Depot is a staple to helping us get settled in to each our new homes. They have everything you need to either just settle in, spruce up some rooms with a light remodel or do a full scale remodel. The staff is knowledgeable and friendly. The store is clean. It’s easy to find what you need or to ask a staff if you need help finding what you’re looking for.

I used to like coming to this home Depot. Im a plant sport shopper and have noticed the last 2 times Ive been here I was being watched. On both occasions there was a black guy watching my every move. They acted as if they were shopping but it was obvious they had no desire or idea what they were looking at. Each time I lingered longer than necessary just to confirm my suspicion. Be like Walmart and other places and be less obvious. 🙄
Service is subpar, employees are inadequate and store is poorly managed. Guess during COVID the bottom of the barrel for employees was all they could get. Good luck if you go here.
I tried to buy a patio dining set from here, but they only sold me the chairs and not the table. The associates did what they could to help me, but told me to come back the next day when the manager was there, because they could only do so much. I went back and the manager Andrew Conrad never even came to see me. I was told the only thing I could do was bring the chairs back. No one tried to look at another store, or come up for a solution for me, or offer anything for the inconvenience of having to bring a 150lb box to and from the store multiple times.
Do not come here if you are high risk. I just went in 9/7/21 and every single employee I saw was wearing their mask below their noses.

I have to OH MY GOSH!!! Crazy experience!! My order was messed up to no END!!! BUT THE STAFF THERE, WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND MY BELIEF. I have never been more happy to go to a hardware store than I was yesterday. I sat there for 2 hrs. But I tell you it was.. the best 2hrs at a HOME DEPOT THAT I HAVE EVER EXPERIENCED. THEY MADE SURE THEY GOT ME MY AC UNIT FOR MY HUSBAND BEFORE I LEFT. I PURCHASED it the night before, for curbside pickup. Thank you!!!

I hate leaving bad reviews, but this was a must.. I had to call the store 3 times for a in store pick up that should have been ready on the day the order was placed at 1:30 pm. I did this store only because no other HD had them and I was directed to this one because they have 35. I called and the lady told me they was in over hang and the sale hadnt started. So I placed the order online and after 2 calls today they said they would pull it at 5:30 pm. I had to call the 800 # and now they had to cancel my order because they say that the item # is nit showing up in there system. This store CS is kinda rude too.
Customer service could be better it would be helpful to have as many folks working taking care of customers as there are standing around in customer service area talking and playing amongst each other or playing on cell phone instead of ringing up customers this is actually turning into Wal Mart style home improvement.

The person theyre going to send out to your home will call to arrange the time and date. I have placed 3 orders with the Rock Hill store. One was lost in transit and they had to reorder after over a week of it saying it had arrived and never receiving a pick up notice. It took over a month to get my order. Then placed another order and after getting an email lthat order was ready on Saturday son in law went to get the order on Wednesday. He waited 2 hours for it while being told they were short on staff while 7 associates stood around talking. They were short 8 blocks on the order so I called and received a refund. Tried to call the store manager but they would not answer. They need to put some double checking in place before contacting customers. Customer service needs to be improved.
This store has the worst customer service of any home depo I’ve been to. Rude over the phone every single time I have tried calling. I placed an online order over a week ago and it’s still not ready. I called and a rude employee answered the phone after being on hold forever and said we’ll just cancel the order then. Wow is all I have to say. Guess Home Depot doesn’t want my business.
Ordered over $2600 in appliances only to have it delivered a month later by at best an incompetent third party company. They left trash in my home and yard plus claimed the would be by later that afternoon to retrieve the old appliances for haul off which I paid for. They also did not have the tools to properly install the equipment and asked to borrow mine. Even after helping them to figure out how to bring in the appliances in and loaning my tools they refused to level the appliances or switch the reversible doors on the fridge stating it was not in the service. I complained immediately to Home Depot about the service and the fact that we didnt receive all that we paid for. Manager said they would refund me on what was missing and someone from Home Depot would contact me Monday to resolve further. Well you know it!!! That didnt happen and know Tuesday these old appliances are still in my yard and I can not get anyone from Home Depot to even return a phone call. Take my advice and go with a company that delivers their own products.

Not bad, but not great either. Couldnt find what I was looking for, not a good selection of flower pots, they were out of the dewalt electric screwdrivers and no work lamps.

2 bad experiences in less than a week at this store solidified why we go to Lowes and will from now on. Went on Saturday and found some outdoor cushions we liked. They were 1 short on the shelf but we could see a full box up above. We asked 3 different employees for help and no one ever showed up. Finally grabbed a guy walking by right in front of us and he said that was a heavy item and had to be gotten down with power equipment not the stairs. Mind you these are 6 cushions like filled with padding and cotton. No one showed up with the power lift. We left. Went back on Wednesday because our drier died. They had 1 unit on sale and delivery was may 6th. Left and went to lowes had same unit same price. Plus a ton more selection and more on sale. We picked out the one we liked and it is being delivered Friday. You know like 2 days from the date of purchase.
Its the standard Home Depot experience. Staff are pleasant.

The guy in hardware is about as rude as they come. I start the conversation asking how he’s doing and the next thing out his mouth is (this is hardware). I have called two different days 3-28-21 and 3-29-21 and he has done this both times. If he hates his damn job that bad, I’m pretty sure the road he took to show up to work will lead him back home.

Find a great deal on Bella Donna toilet tissue, $0.25 per roll!! Home depot has some great prices. The staff was super nice and I found myself just chatting it up with a wonderful woman named Susan. I think she works with home improvements because she asked me about my air conditioner. Its nice to find what youre looking for and have a pleasant shopping experience too

I like the depo. I was there to get a key made. My key though is a white elephant. No other in existence. The needle in the haystack.. The panda at a polar bear party.. The Democrat at a God bless America event.. Apparently no one else has ever needed this key made. Now thats not home depots fault. Just my bad luck. So five stars just on account.
Generally I like home depot but this trip, not so much. Signs on the door, masks required. Lots of people without masks inside. When I inquired about it the clerk simply said,oh,, theyre contractors. Ya, so? I wont return anytime soon.

Went to this location to rent a pressure washer for my home. I checked out the pressure washer for 4 hours and came home to test out the equipment. I did all the steps I was instructed by the tool rental dept. Took the pressure washer home. Connected it to the electrical supply and it would not turn on. I returned the pressure washer before my rental time expired. Once I arrived back to this location, associate was very rude and was not friendly. I asked the associate if I could get my refund back from my order and they said because it has worked the associate said it worked so no refund and commented harshly and said something must be wrong with my power source at home and my outlets worked fine at work. Instead of resolving my issue and granting my refund he said you got to pay the full price. My experience at this location was not good and the associates were very rude and I would not be spending my money at this Home Depot location ever again in Rock Hill, SC. In addition to the customer beside me was having with his rental and was requesting a refund as well. I would not recommend renting tools from this Home Depot location.
Good shopping, store well stocked, just dont understand why the big box stores wont use more live cashiers. With all the profits theyve made during the pandemic, and so many out of work, they can hire plenty of cashiers
Door wasnt great the lock that I have Ive only locked twice in 3 years never locked on me in untill today I couldnt even unlock the door from the inside I had to kick my door in Ill call corporate in the morning

Scheduled a lumber pickup for 10 am. 2 and a half hours later and they still have not picked out order. This is ridiculous and is costing me time and labor.
This store use to have employees who were more friendly and helpful. With everything going on now, it just seems to me, that would be more of a priority with the store. First bought the wrong Tide 2 weeks ago, so I was returning it. I told the lady why I was returning it, I thought she was going to ask, but she didnt. Instead, she gave me a hateful look & said (twice) WHAT? (yes, I was wearing my mask) and she was not, but you can read peoples eyes, everyone remember that. So I repeated myself again, louder, and she continued with her extreme rudeness, which I didnt understand. {u know who u are, whitish/gray haired, older lady at the Customer Service counter, as you walk in the door} Nonetheless, did the return and still shopped the store and bought what I needed. Anyway, very uncalled for treatment on her part. If you cant hear WHAT someone is saying, please... Just tell them. Dont look at them like they have 3 heads, and you want to chop them off. Husband said wood splitters were on a re-call so customer service said she couldnt tell him a price for the rental.I looked it up online & rental was above our budget.

Awful experience. Ordered stone from this store. They botched the delivery multiple times. The store didnt have enough, so they sent what they had. Original delivery driver said the remaining blocks from the order would arrive the next day from another store. 4 days later with no communication, we were told by the second store (when WE called THEM) that nobody had sent an order over to them from this location. Got that scheduled, only to be called one day prior to delivery that oops, that store doesnt have enough either. AND they cant order more from the vendor because we dont do that and the nearest store with enough is too far away to deliver to us and we would have to drive to Columbia to pick it up. Said they would refund us for the number they didnt have. Then literally 5 minutes later, a different associate called from the same store, telling us that the nearest store was Charleston, and that we would have to physically go to the store to swipe the card to get the refund. We asked why we were receiving a second call with different information. Her response? She HUNG UP ON US. So many breakdowns in communication. So many people passing the buck to different departments or associates. Terrible customer service and beyond frustrating when we took a week off of work to do the project.

Can’t seem to get anyone to call me back about my weed eater repair. They have had it since later April/Early May and it is now September. I have called four times. Each time they tell me they are looking into it and will call me back but haven’t called me back yet. I wait a few weeks between calls too. Weed eater was brand new out of the box.
Rental department is a joke. When the online availability goes from 1 early in the day to showing 4 available you think there would be at least one. Standing in line waiting for the one person working available still says 4. Nothing available. Not in the smaller size either. Also showing available.Second poor experience. Will not return.

Awesome place to go for all home goods! Today just needed some garden pebbles for water absorption. They were kind of hard to find, ended up walking right by them and through the entire garden section a few times. On the way back through, we saw them tucked in the far right corner next to the doors that lead back into the store from the garden section. Not well stocked at the time, but they had what I needed. They even had an amazing seed selection and a great selection of young plants all very well priced, especially compared to wal-mart where I initially got my seeds. Definitely come here for your garden needs!

I and my family were shopping for a washing machine. We had the best sales associate Angelina who explained everything in full detail that we needed to know to complete our purchase. She even took us up front to check us out.
Well-established location. if you want it, they probably have it. Occasionally you may have to look for assistance, but not usually. its not hard to find some help if you really need it.

They forgot to order supplies to stock shelves and large signs outside that stated face coverings required. I asked why they allow people walking around without them, staff included and their response was that they cant make them wear it because they may have medical reasons. Im sure the young adults working there just chatting dont have medical conditions with their mask under their chin.
Went to the rock hill store today and spent 20 min.convincing two people on the check out the price of one board I ended up going back to where I got the board and tore the label off the rack myself, they didn’t offstage to do it !!! It was a difference of 16 dollars, guess they lost a customer

I love going to home depot, with every visit, Ive been able to get what I needed. Its a place that I highly recommend for your household needs.
