I ordered a custom birthday cake (mango raspberry mousse). The cake was gorgeous and so delicious. French owners are very friendly. I highly recommend Mado Bakery and Cafe.I revisited Mado with my friends in June. We ordered smoke bacon swiss cheese French Baguettes, Cream puff, Éclair, Tiramisu, and Chouquette. owners arranged the sweet nicely on the plate. They were beautiful and flavorful.

Everything we ordered was divine! The gentleman even spoke French with my daughter who is in French immersion. She ordered in French and he took the time to help her with the words she needed to use to identify the baked goods. She said it was the best macaroons she ever had, and shes had a lot. The croissant was the best Ive ever had! We will definitely be back!

I really wanted to like this place however, I called to inquire about a large order that I would possibly need for a wedding and I wanted to know if they possibly made cinnamon rolls as well it was part of the theme. the man picked up and said no I am busy sorry bye and hung up the phone that was it for me that let me know right there there was no customer service I will not be shopping here.

And here goes the diet...Mado Bakery and Café is a must-experience, authentic 🇫🇷 pastries starting with melt in your mouth 🍪 from classic chocolate chip to salted caramel pecan, plus soon to come freshly baked baguette🥖 + 🥐 croissants.The Parisian wife and husband team are masters of their craft and while the location in a strip mall on Cherry Boulevard may not suggest it, Mado is exquisite and worth the Java detour, too.Bring a little time and patience as everything is made from scratch, plus it is only the lovely husband-wife team that currently does it all. And keep in mind, that not only are the delicious pastries and breads baked daily, but also with the best ingredients, including flour shipped all the way from France. You do pay a little bit more than at mass market places, but at Mado nothing is frozen and you do support a family that gave up everything back home to make their dreams come true here in the US.Bon Appétit!

I thought it was superb. this is the best French patisserie weve had in the area and I will give it 100 stars and 1 million stars. My six-year-old granddaughter gave it the million star rating. She really loves the pastries there and we plan to go often. I recommend it I am not on Facebook but my daughter is and he does publish his menu daily. Everything is fresh daily and is sold out by the end of the day.

Just tried this for the first time! How did I not know that this place existed before??? It is so delicious and everything is homemade and never frozen...will definitely be coming back. Also the atmosphere is so inviting and cozy. The customer service was over the top as well.

I walked into this bakery for my 1st time today and its smelled incredible that I met the owner and his wife and they are truly 2 of the most genuinely nice people Ive ever met in my entire life. I have grown up in Rock Hill and one of the few natives left and they are 2 amazing people and they put their heart and soul in that bakery then I got home to taste Is the incredible yummyness of the baguette, croissant and the macaroons were to die for..

First time visiting this place since it used to be Novas. Super impressed, honestly the best chai latte I have had out of every place in Rock Hill. Interesting and tasty treats. The staff was super friendly! I can tell they were running a 2 man ship in there but holding it down and not letting it get in the way of their service and quality like I know many places are nowadays. Gonna be my new go-to spot! Everyone is incredibly friendly and helpful. The sweets are AMAZING. They have the best macarons I’ve ever had and my absolute favorite spiced chai latte. No coffee place could make better drinks.

I got to meet the husband and wife team who run Mado. What a wonderful and friendly couple. Even though they were busy, the husband took the time to introduce the business and explain who they are and what they do. They are from France and the wife is a French pastry chef. The latte was delicious and the marbré chocolat was very good. I cant wait to go back!

Had a delightful experience, the pastry chefs had beautifully clean coats and were very friendly and helpful. The coffee and the pastries were delicious and came out quickly. Absolutely killer spot for a consistently delicious brunch.

Hidden French GEM in Rock Hill. Better than Amelies by far (although Ive never been a fan of them). This place is owned by 2 people from France and the wife is the pastry chef. I dont have pics of the pastries because we ate them too fast.Im a long time Starbucks fan and their coffee is comparable but you can tell its made with love (so its a tad better).I love cookies and they have the best! Everything is amazing and made fresh daily. The couple always has a smile on their faces which is wonderful to see.

Gem of a coffee shop/bakery in Rock Hill. Owned and run by a lovely family with roots in France which is where they learned the art of pastry making. Blueberry muffins and chocolate marble cake are to die for! Go early for blueberry muffins; they sell out pretty fast.

Wow. Truly authentic French bakery in Rock Hill, SC. Everything we tried was delicious. Hot chocolate was piping hot. Not a coffee drinker but they had so much to choose from. Owners are from France, amazingly talented and incredibly nice people. This fits the old adage dont judge a book by its cover. Go in, try the food - trust me, its worth it. We got there too late for breakfast, but we are DEFINITELY going back to try some.

This place is great! Its clean and calm, the owners are SO sweet and welcoming, and the baked goods are really good! The coffee is really tasty too. 10/10 as a whole. The service is a little slow bc its just the two owners, but theyre so warm and accommodating that I couldnt be bothered.

Best chai tea Ive ever had! (I got the spiced one!) The vanilla latte was amazing too. We also got a loaf of their fresh made brioche and a chocolate chip cookie, and both were so tasty Im already excited for the next time we go back to get more! Will definitely be returning!

Hands down one of the best French bakery experiences I’ve had. The blueberry muffin is more tart than sweet, which is amazing. I love their macarons and recommend the passion fruit flavor! I’ve tried both a chai latte and the French Carmello: I really enjoyed them both. More importantly, the kind couple who own the bakery/cafe are so friendly and sweet. I practically feel at home and can’t wait to take my mother with me when she’s in town!

You can tell the owners truly love what they’re doing from the way they have transformed this space and crafted a unique and evolving menu. I highly recommend trying one of the cookies, especially the gingerbread men!The space is clean and comfortable, with attention given to pandemic precautions. Have a seat inside the bank vault lounge for a unique experience or have a seat outside and enjoy the fresh air.There is no better coffee spot in Rock Hill!

Mado Bakery is great! The owners are super friendly and know what theyre doing when it comes to French pastry baking. The macaroons are the perfect, petite size and are less than $2. Though it may not say on the menu, they do have oat milk for all your delicious coffee needs, and a drive-thru. I cannot recommend them enough.

If you find yourself on I-77 just south of Charlotte near Rock Hill, SC, take 10 minutes to stop by Mado French Bakery and Coffee Shop.Recently opened by a French Chef and her husband, the quality of the drinks and pastries is mind blowing. I talked to the chef about how picky she is with only fresh natural ingredients, and the flavor just bursts out of her products. No processed foods Starbucks nonsense. The entire family works there and they are super friendly!I tried a muffin that had bacon and pear in it. Just a hint of sweet and a hint of bacon with fresh crumb pastry. Outstanding!

My favourite( french quiche with onion) can be ordered by phone. But inhouse,there is only a limited amount in store and they sell quickly!! And no, this is not your Sunday morning. Best ever American quiche. This is a French, how does the egg and cheese taste like silk quiche.Dont believe me....try it. Youll see. 😏

Mado Bakery and Café is a true passion project that brought these two Parisians to the Carolinas and to a strip mall and former bank building in Rock Hill, SC out of all places. There is even a drive-thru for coffee and to go orders.Since everything is baked onsite, you may want to order in advance and come during the week. The long lines on the weekend speak for the quality and personalized experience. Just bring a little patience, it’s worth the wait.

Traveling back from FL. This is definitely worth a stop off of 77 in Rock Hill, SC. Started talking to the owner. He is a trained French baker, his wife is a French Pastry Chef. They are so nice! Looking forward to our next visit and seeing this new bakery succeed! Cold brew was great, the Chai Frappe was awesome and their cookies are really great.

I think I just found a little piece of heaven right here in rock Hill. I stopped here on a whim. I haven’t been here since it was Novas. I could not be more thrilled with my experience. I pull through the drive-thru and asked about their menu. The owner recommended a French Caramella and he chose a puff pastry that was absolutely divine. 5 stars. I’ll be back!

I needed a quick coffee in the middle of the day and thankfully found this place. I had a mocha and it was truly delicious! Im relatively picky about my coffee and Mado did not disappoint. The owners are from Paris and I enjoyed being able to speak to them in French. They dont serve sandwiches yet, but they have plans to soon! I know they have already imported flour from France. Too bad I dont live in SC anymore or I would definitely need to go back and try the new food!

They had an excellent blueberry muffin and I enjoyed my macchiato. The owners are genuinely French so I had a hard time understanding the accent, but she was very patient. They plan on offering more authentic French breads, and Ill certainly stop by to try them next time Im in Rock Hill.

Best coffee in the area, hands down. The owners are so friendly, and the coffee is always so fresh. They import their beans so you cant find this coffee anywhere else! I always get the cold brew, but the hot coffee is great too. The macarons and gingerbread cookies are to die for.
