I went in here and felt the warmth from the sunshine! No, not just from these windows but from the great feeling I felt when walking in and seeing all the assorted springtime items all around as you can see from the pictures I took to share with you! Make sure you carve some time out of your calendar before you step inside! You need as much time that you can have to see all the many pieces of jewelry and all kinds of pins and items that you can totally lose track of time looking at all the detail on them! This shop is one of those gems to add to your list to go for special gifts for loved ones and friends for sure! K@

Not my kind of store in general, but a nice place to kill a couple minutes while waiting for the sushi place to open up. I bought a really nice candle from there, and am thinking about purchasing another one since I like the smell so much. Not sure if thats their main thing, but its what I would buy more of. Lady at the counter was nice and talkative. My sister had a pleasant experience as well. Ill probably be back for another candle some day.

I really hate to give this such a low rating, but you earned it. This is the second salvaged by Sonya estate sale I went to, and I encountered a very unpleasant lady. I really believe this woman might be Sonya, she was at the sale in my parents subdivision as well. I had to opportunity to talk to other shoppers. There was diversity among the shoppers. There was a lady that bought all that could fit in her car while her husband waited by his truck to see if any needed to go in his truck, but the ash blonde 50 something woman was still not pleasant to her, her husband was very nice and helpful. Unfortunately I know I will be responsible for getting rid of my elder family members things in the near future. If you want the communitys dollars you must treat all races, ages, genders and orientations with respect. I will continue to stop at your sales to check customers service skills. If customer service improves, my rating will change.

Very disappointed on the pricing of this company. When you see such a large percentage of shoppers walking out of sale within minutes after entering sale you know the sale is over priced. You are wasting peoples time. 500.00 for a chair, 700 for a used tv and 200 for used vaccum. These items are used items and not even in great condition? Plenty of other companies that do estate sales have fair and reasonable pricing.

Salvage by Sonya conducted an estate sale at our home that was recently sold. They met or exceeded our expectations in every way. Sonya and her staff performed professionally and respected our property and possessions that were sold. You can trust Sonya to give an accurate accounting of the items sold. They sold almost everything in a two day sale. The remaining items had little real value. We took three boxes of those items to Goodwill.I would highly recommend Salvage by Sonya for estate sales

I couldnt be happier with Salvaged by Sonyas sale of my mothers estate after her passing. Her belongings were treated with the utmost care and respect, as well as beautifully displayed for the sale. I really think she would have been pleased.

I love to estate sale but I always avoid Salvage by Sonyas because the prices are too high. Also, I had my sister drive out from Elmhurst for a day of estate sales, and Sonya was very abrupt to my sister for us using one receipt shared with me. We didnt choose one receipt, her workers did it. I was so embarrassed for my sister and how she was treated. On the other hand, a few years back I was in Sonyas store and my kids of course needed to use the bathroom. Sonya was very generous to offer hers. All I know is that I dont like feeling uncertain about people so best to avoid any confrontation.

Salvaged by Sonya sent her people to another company run estate sale. It was a team who gets there early, first in line, completely ambushing the sale to have first picks. Choosing the best of what the sale has to offer, before people are even able to have a chance. It was a complete whirlwind, and left me utterly disgusted at the spirit of people today. Luckily they came in quick, and went out quick, so I could enjoy the rest of my time at the sale.

We have furnished 4 houses with help from Sonya These are non profit recovery homes in Haight village Her sales are the best and I would encourage anyone to go once and you will be hooked The staff are great also

It was a cute place and had some beautiful pieces but it was too expensive and most things were massive to have to get into your home. If there was a piece that you knew youd keep forever it would be worth it but since most things are chalk painted I really dont know how much longer thats going to be in style. The lady working there was super friendly. I would go back every once in a while to see if there was a piece I could afford and bring it home myself.

Sonya and her team are awesome, everyone is welcome and the deals are awesome.

Amy and I had a great experience at a Salvaged by Sonya sale recently.The sale was extremely busy but Sonya took time out to personally talk to us about an antique clock that we were interested in.It was not an inexpensive purchase and we were on the fence about it.After learning a little of the history of the clock from Sonya, we decided to purchase it.Result, everybodys happy, us, Sonya, and the former owner.Thank you!

I went to a few of their estate sales. They are INCREDIBLY overpriced. I would never go back to one of these sales. I could get a lot of the items at these sales brand new from a store for one a few dollars more or for the same price. Dont be deceive by their excellent signage. They jack up the prices to pay for it!

Been to many estate sales throughout Northern Illinois but Salvaged by Sonyas has the highest quality goods, her staff is amazing and if U need an Estate sale I highly recommend SBS over all other estate sale companies

This business is terrible. Very unorganized and dont respect the neighbors during an estate sale. Talk about ruining a weekend! Kids cant even be outside. Cars driving like maniacs through a neighborhood. Sonya needs to think about the people around her and her sales and not just the money in her pocket. Very disrespectful when talking to her about it. People parking in neighbors yards..... She needs to put up signs to keep people off yards and to slow down with kids around instead of worrying about putting up 100 of her Estate sale signs.

Took my mother to their sale, and they were incredibly overpriced. Items were half-priced. My mom bought a bench, and when I saw that Sonya was writing the full price on her receipt, I mentioned it. She became irate and said that she was not through writing yet. Her tone was rude and condescending. She then slammed her hand down on the table for emphasis. If I had not had my mother with me, I would not have bought the items. Will not subject myself or family to her business again.

Went to their estate sale and all employees took all close parking and as we waited for it to open they were too busy shopping and loading their cars. I also was walking up stairs and employee walked to close and fast and hit back of my foot and flip flop hard and people upstairs heard but no one cared if i was ok or not.

Very organized estate sales, extra help while shopping. The idea of having totes to shop with or buy, made my day.

Drove 45 miles there to find out one person came in and bought everything there. Had the ad posted on estate sales. Net said it was still currently running when everything was sold out. I’ve seen reproduction antiques be marked as originals very dishonest estate sale company will not be returning to future sales.

This place runs the most disorganized mess Ive ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I purchased a 32 flat screen t.v. mounted on the wall. After I paid for it they couldnt get the mount off, was told they werent sure when the owners would be there to get it off, so didnt know when I could pick it up. Try to explain, I am disabled, elderly so cannot mount it myself and my niece was coming for a limited time and once she was gone I would have no way to mount it. Sonya (the owner) has a very stern, unfriendly attitude and makes it clear, NO REFUNDS! I also purchased a lay out lounge chair on the second day when I went to pick up the t,v. (which I was not able to get all of as I said) and the boy could not get it out of the upper deck and through the house to my car as they were moving a mattress and some furniture out of there. So when I called the next day about the t.v. and asked if I could get the chair, she told me they could not locate it and it must have been sold to someone else. The place is very disorganized, they are high priced, and its not even worth the effort. I was, and am very dismayed!

I think that salvage by sonja is the best estate sale company in or around the rockford area she has the best sales and the freindliest employees that i have ever had the privilage of meeting they go out of there way to help you so if you want to visit one of the best estate sale companies in the rockford area visit salvage by sonja

Horrible Experience!!!!This company ruined our whole weekend. They decided to have an estate sale in my Subdivision and didnt bother to tell us they were having an estate sale. People Blocked us in our own private driveway from there event. We were harrassed by there customers, sworn at, cigarette butts left in our yard. Our mailboxes were blocked and none of the neighbors could get there Mail, People walked through our yard and dragged things across it. Our streets were blocked and school buses and cars had a hard time getting through. I had one of there employees put there hands on me when I asked them to have a person unblock our driveway that was blocked when we had no parking signs up and towing signs up. She had the nerve to tell me there was already to much hate in the world while she invaded my personal space. They stole my garbage cans. They had one employee come to my house and try to bribe me with a gift card to a restaurant which he said his son owned named Lucha Cantina in Rockford and said he was just trying to push off there gift cards. Horrible people to deal with and Wrecked our whole weekend and the neighborhoods. They also left there business signs,metal poles and balloons in the ground in the poplar grove area. Way to go and not pick up your own trash. Would never want to do business with these people!

September 1st sale on 20th st., what a mess it was when they opened at 9:00, the man taking numbers at the door said everyone can come in, then a mad rush to get in, people pushing their way, cutting in front of others. So much for going an hour early to get a number. They could of let everyone in but it should of been orderly, going by numbers one at a time. I was number 11 some guy pushed his way in front of me, I saw his number it was 27, if a number system is going to be used then thats what the customers expect, otherwise no number system line up at door first come first in.

Cool stuff. Sonya is very fair on prices.
