Penguin foods catered my wedding. They were so nice, polite and professional. They made our wedding day and the reception a joy. Everyone at the reception commented how delicious the food was. Their baked chicken and beef was amazing. The au gratin potatoes are to die for. The green bean casserole was the best I have ever had. I ordered haluski, a Polish/Ukrainian dish and they were the best I ever had.John was so nice and accommodating and worked with me and all my requests. If you are looking to cater a banquet, family reunion, wedding reception, etc., please consider Penguin Foods. You will not be disappointed, but rather delighted with every aspect of their service! I would give them six out of five stars if I could.

We had Penguins cater our sons 1st Birthday celebration at Midway Village. John was very helpful both on the phone and through email. The food was amazing and our guests kept going back for more (especially the cole slaw!) and kept asking us who catered the food. The serving staff was very helpful and attentive. I will definitely recommend this place to our friends and family who is looking to have catering at their event.I look forward to working with John and Penguins in the future!

Awesome smell from the time you hit the door. Great selection of meats and Polish deli products and polish bread. Not to mention the great people that work the counter.

Went to a banquet last night for 130 people catered by Penguin. This was the very worst food ever. The chicken breast was dry, the carrots were tough plus they ran out of the roast beef before the end. They used small paper plates so you would not take too much of their junk food! I was embarrassed for my guests.

Best place to go for your meats in Rockford. Good everything: steak, sausage, sauerkraut, beef, and cheese. Definitely come here!

My family has been going to penguin foods for decades! Always the most friendly service! And they have the best beef jerky. Yum!

My Son got married last week and we had Penguin foods do the pig roast. The food was excellent and the pork was so moist and tender ! All the other sides were delicious and had many compliments from the guests ! The staff was excellent at serving and keeping up with refilling the dishes. My daughter in law requested a popcorn bar and John did and exceptional job at fulfilling her wish. The guest went crazy for it ! The heat was horrible as this took place in a barn on the hottest day, but to have as many compliments about the food we had made it all worth while :) Thank you Penguins for a great job !
