They do not work with warranty’s so don’t even bother taking your car to them ! My car needs a part and every time I speak to someone they say they can not find that part that my car needs . So when I asked them what is the part number that my car needs so I can do the research my self the manager Bret then told me he can NOT provide me with the part number because they do not have it … so I am in question how are they looking for the part without the part number… they have literally been giving me the run around for everything … and they just want to charge you any little fees that they can … I have to pay 170 dollars just for them to tell me they can not find a part to my car .. when I clearly found the part and when I ask for the part number to match it up they then did not want to provide me with the number … he told me to pick up my car and pay the fee and he will call me later with the part number to my car

I was very pleased with my salesman, Russell Christian. I told him what i was looking for, & what i wasnt looking for, & decided on the Hyundai Tucson. Due to the shortage of new cars at the time, Russell told me to let them make some calls, to see if they could locate the car, & color i was looking for. I was told it would take approx. 10-13 days. On about the 9th day, I received a call letting me know, 1 had been located, & it was the color i was looking for! That was on a Friday, & i went in on that Monday, to pick up my new car! The rest is history! I LOVE my Tucson!!

If i could give the service center zero stars i would. I scheduled an appointment for August 2 and then told my dealership that was the date to bring my car in for a software update recall. My car was randomly shutting off when coming to a stop so they thought the recall was the issue. After 4 days passed the second and no communication from them, i called and was told i never had an appointment so i was being “squeezed in”. I had to have an appointment to get a loaner through my dealership, so this was untrue because i had already had my loaner for a week.. After a week went by, i called my dealership and they still hadn’t heard from the service center so i called and they told me that they completed the software update but my car was still shutting off when coming to a stop. They checked the oil dipstick and told me that i hadn’t had an oil change in over 12,000 miles and there was sludge and metal shavings all over the stick. When i only gave them permission to complete the software update. Then they tried to charge me $165.00 for that. On top of that, they wanted to charge me $650.00 to just look at the engine to see if that was the issue and wouldn’t be covered with my under the hood warranty that i still had in effect for 3,000 more miles. I am regular on my oil changes so i knew this was also untrue and had my dealership pick up my vehicle. When my vehicle returned to the dealership, they did a camera scope of my engine for free and found absolutely nothing wrong with my oil. No metal shavings or sludge was found. I would rather drive an hour to get my car fixed than to ever come back to this service center.

Jose M was FANTASTIC! He greeted us at the door and was extremely professional. Really tried to get to know why we wanted to look at specific cars and our “must haves” before test driving, and then was extremely knowledgeable about the cars we looked at. We did purchase a car and Jose’s professionalism and kindness made the day go very smoothly and he wasn’t pushy which made it even better. I would give him 10/10 stars for his customer service, knowledge, and friendliness. Rob the manager and everyone else we talked to were great too. Highly recommend Hyundai on Perryville for a smooth buying experience.

Took 6 months to replace the engine of my car and when I got the car, I brought it back just after 1 week due to some fuel leak. They said it was the fuel injectors but when I brought it to another shop it was the oil gasket which is now fixed. There are 2 issues here, First is they did not check the car very well before they released it thus I was driving an unsafe car then the other is they misdiagnosed the issue in which I paid for the diagnosis.

First time here when I called for oil change appointment told them it was full synthetic Motor oil they put in regular oil. They did do a redo with correct oil. Wonderful experience! Great car at a great price! Everybody was very friendly and helpful! I would highly recommend this dealer for a car purchase. Stan was extremely helpful and courteous, I was unable to get to the dealer until late in the day and he stayed after closing to let me finish a test drive. The following day when we purchased a car they were extremely accommodating with a carfax and all the time I wanted to look the vehicle over. I would definitely consider going there again for another vehicle purchase.

Went in for an oil change and tire rotation had a $10 off coupon for getting both of these things done but some how the coupon was not applied to the bill.🤔🤨 Thats bad for business. Check your bill to make sure that your not getting over charged for something before you pay. I wont let that happen again!!

Friendly staff when I bring my Hyundai in for regular maintenance and are not horribly pushy with upsells you do not really need. My one personal complaint is that I bought a brand new set of 4 tires and part of the sale was the next four tire rotations would be free. In two years or has only been applied once and only when I insisted and needed to remind them.

Brad in the service department said they fixed this recall on my vehicle but now a year later the recall problem he said the service department fixed is now in effect.. I think not! This is bad business and saying you fixed something that you didnt is immoral and makes you guys untrust worthy! FYI these pictures were taken while my car was in park and turned off.

Our first time at this dealership looking for a car for my wife. The sales person Christian was very professional. Did not pressure us. Showed us several vehicles. Found a vehicle we liked in the Kona Ultimate. Easy to negotiate a price without having to deal with extra fees that other dealerships will charge. While in finance, Christian was getting the car ready. Once we were done in finance, Christian went over the manuals. Then installed our new plates. Christian then asks if we had any questions. Christian then followed up with a phone call the next day. Hyundais have a very good warranty. My wife and I had a very pleasurable experience at Hyundai on Perryville. Thank You Christian.

Absolutely the worst service department I have ever had the displeasure of dealing with. After waiting over an hour for a routine oil change, I was informed that my car had an aftermarket oil plug on it that had been “completely stripped.” Interestingly enough I had my previous oil change done at a Hyundai dealership and they didn’t mention that, nor did they have any issue changing my oil. They informed me that they could try to pry it off but they could damage the oil pan, which would then make the car inoperable. Moral of the story, do NOT take your car to this particular dealership for any service on your car.

2 our of 2 Elantra engines were bad. They wouldnt loan me a car for their 5 to 6 week backlog to just diagnose the engine they knew was bad. They then blocked me for commenting on my terrible experience on their Facebook page. Buyer beware. They dont back up their products. Go elsewhere.

My wife and I had looked at several other dealerships (different brands) and decided to just take a look to see what they had. We hadnt been parked for more than 30 seconds and out comes Bryan, on a krutch, to greet us and see what he can help us find. VERY friendly, personable, honest, upfront and knowledgeable. We never once felt that he was pushy or dishonest. We first drove a new Palisade but decided to buy a fully loaded new 2020 Santa Fe and we love it! The staff was all very helpful and polite. What can I say about this place.. Christian Russell was incredible at being who he was and being of service to his profession. One might say I am an avid car shopper with the majority of my experiences being the worst, you learn through failure and mistakes the game, especially the car sale game. I am a SUB PRIME consumer, which means my credit is terrible. And it took a lot of hopin an prayin to go to any dealership and risk being denied when I really needed a car. Christian is a star gentleman and anything but a salesman and that is why you should always ask for him by name as you know he will help you get the job done. They didnt treat me like the New Car manager at Lou Bachrodt Fil Sotomayor, and while literally the Sales manager Patrick Bachrodt sat right next to him. You see I started out at Anderson Toyota. CHRISTIAN BENITEZ at Lexus is amazing but the terms were not right and neither was my situation.I went over to VW. You know sometimes you have to dance the dance and then I met Nami and Lionel at Lou Banchrodt VW. They were amazing and supportive through the process and I couldnt be more grateful for their support and guidance through the process at VW. But once it got put into I was looking at a blue VW Jetta 2017 it was literally everything I wanted and was all that I needed, Exceeding and abundantly more than I could ever hope or dream of and it was right, but the numbers were so so wrong and so you just have to walk away from a bad deal, right car, but bad deal.I first found myself at Forest City Auto over off state. Danny was incredible while he couldnt help someone in my credit situation, he did recommend me to go and see Pat at Hyundai of Perryville.I dont know how you did pat, cause wow. Ive never cried at a car dealership before and it was amazing to see a miracle happen right in front of me. As always, great service! I was in the waiting area when the service manager came out to tell me that they didnt have the part they needed; however, they ordered it and it should be there shortly. He said that it would take them awhile to fix after they received the part, and offered me a courtesy car to use until the afternoon when my car would be done.I was able to run my errands before they called me that my car was finished and ready for pick up! Ive never had a bad experience. Great place to work with!

I didnt purchase my vehicle here because their service department is lacking in customer service (daughter got her new vehicle from here) and they have better warranty deals in North Aurora. I went in this morning with an appointment with Joe. They didnt know which Joe I was asking for when I arrived. The sales manager asked if Id purchased my car from them, to which I replied no. He actually said nothing else, but turned his back to me! There was a sales guy that helped me with questions about pairing to Android Auto. After seeing how the manager behaved, I now know why I drove 70 miles to Geralds Hyundai in North Aurora!

EDIT: The owner reached out and was able to cover the repair at a Hyundai dealership closer to us. Our situation was handled in a very professional manner. Thank you for resolving this situation.We had the engine replaced and it was covered by a recall that we had done. They replaced the engine within two days which seemed pretty quick. On the way home from the dealership, the check engine light came on. The car should have been driven enough for this issue to show up. Then, we call the dealership and they say they’ll get us in to a dealership closer. The service advisor decided it wasn’t important to call us back and let us know that we can’t get in. We had to find out ourselves. When getting such a big repair, you’d expect extreme caution to be taken. Instead, we got negligent service and a car that’s not safe to drive.

So, i have a 2019 Hyundai Elantra SE, that had a check engine light code for cooling system performance, it came on 3 different times which i took it in each time, so I was not a happy customer at first, but the 3rd time I believe they solved the problem by replacing the thermostat. at 7200 miles on a car, that is so unfortunate, but they gave me a free rental car to help keep me happy. So all in all, nothing is perfect, but Hyundai will make things right to keep you a happy customer I believe!

Had an engine replaced was underneath the car to change the oil noticed a bunch of missing/broken screws that hold the plastic thing that keeps the underside clean called about it and Was just given the run around . Wouldnt have more than an oil change after that. very nice people tho.

Had my car serviced here last week for brake replacement and an oil change. Barely made it to Perryville before my car was violently shaking. They did not tighten my lug nuts at all or test drive my car apparently. Service center manager kept saying they would take care of me and when I came to pick up my car the next day they said nothing and I didnt even get an apology. Have your car serviced here at your own risk they do not care about their customers safety or satisfaction.

I enjoy taking my car to Hyundai for oil changes, warranty issues and changing out my winter and regular tires. I get to sit and watch tv and drink nice hot coffee...check my messages, sit in the new cars and pick which one i would take when they decide to just give me one..(been waiting for years for that...) ...The staff is friendly, the service people are great...especially Roberta. They MAY be a bit more expensive that service shops, but i am comfortable....taken well care of....and always leave with a cleaner car than i came in with..and i trust them totally..

Every time I have brought my car in, there have been mistakes. They do not handle their mistakes well. No one explained that Roadside Assistance was free since I am still under warranty. The people are nice, but the service department is severely lacking in quality, followup, and admitting accountability... all of my work has been covered under warranty, to boot, and like other reviewers have said, its been a chore and sometimes outright dangerous just to get it done right... for those of us who dont live very close, this can make for a very frustrating car ownership experience.Now that Ive looked through other reviews this seems to be a consistent issue. How have you not addressed the egregious reviews of your service department in an accountable way? Clearly there is a huge difference between the reviews of the sales dept and the service dept. As one reviewer said, why such attitude and poor workmanship for those of us covered under warranty?Like others have said, the service department makes mistakes especially during reassembly and provides horrible customer service in response to their mistakes. Pat, instruct your service department to drastically change how they address warranty work, reassembly quality, and response to mistakes. Judging by the consistency of these reviews, maybe its time yall assume its more than possible a mistake was made and give clear, helpful advice on how you will rectify your mistakes.

Rude sales associate, I have never left a store so angry before. I was choosing between two cars and asked the associate to match the price of the same vehicle from a different dealer it I would drive the hour away to save the money, he dismissed it in a way that in too if everything else that has happened at this dealership, I choose to buy a Kia instead. If I ever considered a hyundai again, I will drive to another town instead if dealing with this group.

Patricia Carter salesperson was incredibly empathetic to the fact that my car had been totaled. She and the general mgr Pat Rosenberg worked with me working on how to get me a car that was feasible for my circumstances. It took a great of effort on their part but I never felt pressure ob me. Just an enormous caring to help a client. This followed through the entire experience including financing and acquainting me with my new vehicle. Will I recommend these professionalsl yet down to earth people? IN A HEARTBEAT!

Our mechanic told us to take to Hyundai dealer since our Santa Fe was under warranty. Charged us $587 for repair. Showed our mechanic the bill and and he said that was high. He called out to Hyundai Perryville and they said $350. Called two other Hyundai dealers and they said $350. Went to Hyundai and spoke to manager and after a lot of excuses the best he could come up with was every shop has their own rate they charge and offered $100 for the next time we come in. Wont be a next time and would recommend calling a couple places before having work done there.9/20/2018 When I called Hyundai on Perryville I explained there was a crack in the oil pan when I called and since the car was under warranty brought it to you. I understand you have to check things out, but another shop saw the crack and the oil leak and said to call you and let you know their was a crack in the oil pan and it was dripping oil, I think that be a excellent place to start the diagnosis. But you tell us it took over two hours to find out it was exactly, that is sad. The shop we had the car in knows the costs per hour to diagnose problems and costs for repairs. They go by the same industry pricing code standards which mechanics go by. Two other Hyundai dealers were called and using your invoice, neither were over $350.

Disappointed again! I had a complimentary oil change for the poor and deceitful service I received when purchasing my truck and now when I bring in my wife’s car and explain the issues somehow they still missed them! A headlight and a taillight which I told them about when I dropped it off. Just makes me question what they actually did with my car while they had it!
