Used to be Hulick and I was a longtime customer. Now Speedy they have an order minimum that as a blacksmith I dont really meet. So dropped the rating because ... well, since they wont sell to me they arent much good to me.

Ive never had a bad experience at the rockford location. Always super nice on the phone and in person. They are always there when I need them no matter how small the order. Another thing I like is I always get in and out quickly. Speedy metals is my go to shop for my steel needs, glad they have the rockford location to serve me.

Chris and everyone else I delt with at Speedy Metals was awesome! Super helpful and not annoyed at all that I’m not a steel expert. I’ll be getting all my steel from them from now on!
