Went there for 3 Pandora charms was told they were Pandora by staff on the phone as well in person . Purchase them for gifts We later went to a real Pandora store at mall in Fayetteville We were told the 3 charms from Helms were fake yet Helms charged me Pandora prices. Not the way to do honest business

I recently went to helms jewelers and bought my wife a great bracelet. The store is a really nice, downtown jeweler that has been there a very long time and the staff was incredibly friendly. Parking is easy and close to the store and they made the buying process very easy. I will buy more jewelry from them in the future.

When I walked in the door, I was greeted by a nice warm genuine smile along with asking how was I doing (&) if there was or is anything in particular I was looking for... That meant (&) means alot now adays in any type of business world, because you just dont get that experience often from employees.. After an hour or so of conversation (&) tough selections.. I finally left out with a beautiful necklace and a stunning ring!

Helms Jewelers WAS a Rockingham icon. In business for over a hundred twenty years, this store enjoyed the best of all that Richmond county had to offer. In 2017, Steve & Cynthia closed up shop after 43 years, and sold to Ellyn Brannick who reopened in October of the same year. The prices are too high, she has a store full of things that no one wants, and for the rare days when anyone does bother to come inside, they are often met with her high-browed, rude, condescending hateful manners. I’m sad to say that the Helms name is not looked upon favorably in this county anymore. Do yourself a favor when you walk by, and just keep walking to any other of the fine friendly businesses that our beautiful downtown has to offer. As an employee, I have seen her literally kick people out of the store with orders to never come back, after she asked them to come meet with her for sales or service. GO TO KAY’s!!

Helms Jewelers is not what it use to be. If anything, it’s more like a consignment gift store. The new owner, Ellyn Brannick, is unprofessional and writes negative reviews about other jewelry stores in town for her own benefit. Please take your business elsewhere!
