Brought my i30 in for a service and was completely blown away by the down to earth team that looked after me. In the past I usually get taken for a ride by other places (female who has no idea about cars) so Im often pressured into replacing parts or paying extra for bits and bobs but there was no pressure from Rockingham Hyundai. I knew for a fact I was due for new wheels and was bracing myself for the hard sell for buying wheels off them but it never came! Josh simply said my wheels are due for a change and that they reflected it in the log book.Thank you very much for making me feel at ease!

Don’t think I’ll ever go here to get my car serviced. Had issues 3 years ago. I thought I’ll give it a shot this time but looks like nothing has changed. Good for people who are receiving exceptional service but I’ll be better off elsewhere for sure.

The overwhelming feeling reflecting on my service experience with Rockingham Hyundai was that I have been taken for a ride. It seems at every turn there was some claw for money…but I’ll get to that.Getting a quote seemed an inconvenience to whoever picked up the phone, suggesting I could get a price and book in online.The quote wasn’t the cheapest I received but, based on previous experience with Rockingham Hyundai, I found the location and convenience of drop off and pick up could justify the additional cost. As I found out when dropping my car off however, it turns out you now have to book a seat on a bus so any advantage was quickly lost as I needed to call a taxi from and to Rockingham Hyundai.Before I even gave my name, two extras were pushed at me. No thanks. No thanks. I gave my name and they pulled out the paperwork and the cost was around $40 more than the quoted price. When pressed, they suggested it had been copied down wrong however on reflection with the rest of the experience, I can’t be sure it was so innocent.Two things pushed at me, the cost $40 above what was quoted, later in the day came the call that additional things needed to be done for additional costs. One thing was the battery was recommended to be replaced for $270. I hadn’t had any issue starting my car and when pressed, the battery was at 58% health, 100% state of charge. Suspicious. The other two items were less obvious to me as I am not mechanic and, trusting, I allowed the repairs to proceed. Reading though the comments since, others have felt suspicious of the apparent need to replace a pollen filter and given the rest of the day’s experiences, I can’t escape the feeling that the fact I am not a mechanic may have been exploited.Car in at around 8 AM, it would be ready by 4 PM. Arriving just after 4 PM, I stood in line for maybe 15 minutes to find the final paperwork still needed to be sorted out.I can’t say I’m thrilled and the overwhelming feeling is that I have been taken for a ride.

I highly discourage anyone service their vehicle here. They manipulate you, belittle you, over charge you.I have had to contact and report this company to the ACCC and consumer protection for a warranty claim that they are LEGALLY required to repair but are now refusing to acknowledge after diagnosing a fault but are too lazy to actually go forward with the repair, they’re claiming the person that diagnosed the vehicle no longer works there which is untrue so they’ve re-diagnosed as if the person and their diagnosis is now invalid and the fault has disappeared when it has gotten far worse since first diagnosis.Absolutely disgusting service provided by every point of contact from Hyundai.I highly discourage anyone purchase ANY Hyundai vehicle as aftercare is the poorest I’ve ever experienced and you will just go through stresses you’d never expect by inexperienced poor excuses of people.Suddenly these issues are non existent. “Never heard of this issue until now” when I have record of it on paper.

Just had my last service at this place. The service was always, under satisfying at best. Seems I was their latest ‘pollen filter’ victim. Doesn’t stop there. When returning the courtesy car, they found rim and tyre damage that apparently wasn’t their upon collecting the vehicle the day before. Next day, receive a phone call from Shane saying it was going to cost $130 to repair it. I went into the dealership to ask Shane to see the video footage of him doing the pre inspection to make sure he did, in fact check the tyres and rims. (Shane was busy sitting in his office playing solitaire and dunking tiny teddy biscuits into his coffee, so he sent one of his minions in his place) The said footage wasn’t available due to a camera being on the blink. Was then told that they will cover the cost of the rim, but I can no longer have a courtesy car when I get my vehicle serviced. Not a problem. Won’t be receiving another cent of my money. Disappointed that not even the dealer principle could explain to me why they decided to do that. As for Shane, if your going to try and rip someone off, next time, choose an easier target. Avoid like the plague.

Id rather give it minus five stars if theres such option.The sales was not welcoming and lacks basic politeness.I told the sales that I wanted a brand new Tucson while he showed me a one year old Tucson with 5,000km on the odometer. However the leather seat on the drivers side was worn like a 50,000km used car.Bye bye.

Worst experience ever with my 5 year old Tucson.My back left door opens while driving at speeds and my back right door dosent open at all when car is tured off.Ive looked at the electrics on the dash and all says all doors are fine.So i tryed to book it in at anotherHyundai dealership however they only sell cars not Services.Barbara said try Rockingham so i booked it.Went to Rockingham on the 17th to drop it off and Murray said it will be $160 just to look at it then to pay for all works after that As my warranty ran out 67days ago.My frustration is its a huge safety issueThats kids could fall out the car at high speeds or if i had a accident i couldnt get the other kid out due to it been locked.I really thought such a big safety problem would be addressed with urgency.I thought Hyundai would take accountability for a fault that involves safety on the roads. Murray seemed more concerned that the workers need to get paid.I always get my car serviced at Hyundai and love my car.However this is really appalling.

Unfortunately upon picking up my new car it had stained seats, one that was pointed out on the test drive and I was told would be removed, wasnt, there were also two new stains - looking as though a staff member had spilled a drink on the passenger seat. When asked on the day if someone could clean it before I took it home I was told No. Sales Manager then offered me a free clean out of good will - when I tried to claim this free clean Ive had no reply. Very much the type of dealership that once they get the sale, they dont care about the customer any more.

I took my then partners car in for service. After pick up they told me some bull story of the car nit having any oil in. I drove the car in myself and drove the car regularly. On puck up the cat had a terrible knock in the engine. I proceeded to drive home but turned around after a few kilometres as it was gettung worse. I never even made it back and the engine over heated and was switched off. Had it towed back to the garage and they claimed no responsibility and Hyundai refused warranty. Big cost for a nomal service. I will never buy a Hyundai again or use this service centre.

Dodgy salesman Pat don’t trust him with your used vehicle purchases, will tell you he is the best in the business for 20 years and then lie and deceive to get a sale. I trusted him at first but now know better. Hope this helps, I’m sure there sales manager will remove to hide under the rug.

Unfortunately I don’t have anything nice to say about Rockingham Hyundai - very pushy when getting a service to get extra things done.Took my car in for repair under warranty, nobody took me seriously about the issue I was having with my car, I feel like they tried to take advantage of me because I am a woman - they tried to play down the issue I was having so they didn’t have to repair under warranty. The issue was discussed over the phone on multiple occasions, I had to take the head mechanic for a drive and had barely gone 20metres before the issue was diagnosed...I will not be returning to Rockingham Hyundai in the future for anything.

My wife and I went to look at a car we saw advertised, Scott welcomed us and was very helpful, arranged valuation of our car and took us for test drive, we bought the car but it did have one issue the A/C wasnt cold, Scott and his manager Dave arranged to get it fixed before we collected it.after a day I rang Scott to tell him it wasnt right, he immediately arranged a nice loaner car and collected our new one (second hand lexus actually) it was taken to Lexus and is going to be fixed no charge and we dont have to top up fuel tank of the i30.Scott has been great kept us informed all the way and Im sure when Lexus Perth hand back the car it will be perfect just like the non pushy very friendly service.Thanks Scott and Dave.

Do a good job but dont expect to get your car back on the time requested. Its always just being washed and takes another 1/2 hour at least.Also very slow on undertaking warranty work, item point out twice and told it was a warranty claim and would be done next service, oops no parts would have to order them in from Sydney will contact you or it will be done at next service. Still waiting.

Great customer experiance, I received a detailed explanation of and issues that needed to be addressed prior to carrying out any work as this was requested. The courtesy vehicle picked me up and dropped me off to work but not before a grabbed myself a free coffee from the waiting lounge. I got a good deal on a fresh bunch of tyres and my servicing plus my car came back nice and clean.

Me and my husband just had the most Awful unprofessional experience with one of the staff that Claim himself as assistant Manager Name PATRICK Corrigan, came as told by him to discuss about an error that he made and end up him accusing us for the fault that he did and between discussion he abruptly walks of with out even looking for options to help us to resolve the situation. This would be our third time coming back with errors from what he promise and this 3rd time just put the cherry on top.But 5 Stars for John the manager of the place for apologizing and talking to us professionally and trying to resolve the matter by letting us know on all the options available.PS. This was and interesting experience. The person that came out to assist us gave the typical spiel. Before we went for a drive we had to read through a one page document and sign a waiver for fines accident paying a $2000 excess and the rest. I understand that there are trust issues with some humans. But what the annoying thing was we received an experience that was around 20-25 years out of date. The sales person sat in the back seat and proceeded to direct us where to drive, which was in a 50km speed limit in and industrial area and around one or two blocks. We could not have a discussion about the vehicle as a couple.Sorry guys either this was a lapse in judgement or you need to rethink your business strategy. It didnt work the last time I had this experience in the 90s and it was definitely not befitting the 21st century.

Booked an appointment which was twice confirmed. Upon arriving i find out the car which had been cleaned and prepared for me was being shown to another couple and taken on a test drive at my appointed time, i was told to wait for 15-20 minutes until they came back but they bought the car. Whats even the point of me making an appointment?I drove from Joondalup to see that car. Waste of time for both me and my wife.

Hyundai i30 only done 66,000km piston gone through the block and theres nothing they would like to do about it ???Unfortunately Im not able to obtain sevices history for the vehicle, regardless there should be a duty of care as vehicles dont just drop a piston unless something is faulty

Recently had a Harrier service on my Santa Fe, as my partner is a mechanic he decided to carry out the recommendations from the service. One was rear brakes, it was pretty obvious the rear wheels had not been removed for a considerable time as the wheels were seized onto the hubs so how could a proper inspection be carried out if the wheels arent removed, also the brake fluid was on the minimum mark meaning they hadnt bothered to even top that up. Another recommendation was the pollen filter, when my partner removed it again it was obvious it hadnt been checked as it was full of leaves! Unless the mechanic carefully replaced all the leaves that is. I realise a dealership has to make money and the service advisor needs to push his labour per repair order up but not even doing the basics on a service is unacceptable, my concern is if they dont check the brake fluid what else dont they bother checking.

I brought my car paid a substantial amount and from the start received nothing but poor service from these guys, the loan repayments etc were not explained properly in fact the man I dealt with made me feel like I was annoying asking questions, the next bad experience was a fault less than 1 year later the boot would not open I appealed to them to fix it and they refused without a high cost attached I felt it should have been covered under warranty. I went directly to Hyundai who agreed to cover the cost they were amazing to deal with but still rockingham hyundai wanted to charge labour. I changed to another hyundai franchise and have never looked back and receive amazing service. I regret paying what I did for my car I believe I was ripped off and would not recommend this establishment to anyone. I pride myself in giving great reviews for a service well done but could honestly not say one nice thing about this place. I am not surprised at the bad reviews it has received.

Service department is no help. I took my van in to find out what was causing an engine light. I was told after an hour of waiting that the van would need to be kept in and that they dont know what the problem was. The van was still in warranty so I wanted to try that avenue first. I ended up taking it into my mechanic who said within 30 minutes it was the O2 sensor and I had it replaced. Ive just found out that the O2 sensor is covered under warranty and Rockingham should have been able to read the error by connecting their OBD reader into it. Who is going to reimburse me?

I had less than good customer service before at another dealership. I was talked into buying a Hyundai Elantra by my husband and never looked back. I wont be returning Im afraid - your pricing and quality of mechanics are both dubious!I brought my Sante Fe in for a sevice and a diagnosis as it was running very rough and was difficult to start.I was advised that the issue was with the diesel injectors and that they needed replacing, the quoted cost with original parts was $6500 for four injectors and labour. Aftermarket parts was cheaper but still $4000.Not having this sort of spare cash I took the car for a second opinion and it took a diesel mechanic 10 mins to work out that there was petrol in the fuel and this was causing the problem. His high tech analysis was a sniff of the fuel filler!Sorted the problem and the car now runs like a dream. Total cost $450.I asked for a quote on replacing the injectors, just for comparison, and was quoted $2500.Not quite sure how you blokes sleep at night.

My husband and I just brought our very first brand new car... It was quite nerve wracking, but Charl treated us perfectly, he could see how big a purchase and decision this was for us, so he didnt push us, he gave us all the information we wanted, he was honest with us which we really appreciated. I bought a second hand car before in rocking hyundai. It works fine during the first 2 months but after that the car started to shake/vibrate when im breaking. I brought the car back to them and they fixed it they said that the wheel is not alignment BUT after a month the same problem went back. I brought the car back to them for the second time BUT this time they said my break rotors need replacing. I dont know if they just fixed my car temporarily til my warranty expired. I was so disappointed and annoyed at the same time. They told my car has problem when it was out of warranty . I need to pay almost $300 for the break rotors.I was so disappointed. I felt i was tricked that time.

Terribly disappointing customer service. First collection date was lost completely so had to wait, second collection date was also forgotten about meaning the promised detailing of the car was carried out in an obvious hurry. It appears that once youve paid your money the customer service drops rapidly!

Where to start ... Rockingham Hyundai are the best dealers around and I would recommend them to anyone looking at buying a new or used car. From the moment I walked in to the yard looking for a car, the salesman mike was friendly and willing to help me find what I was after. He wasnt pushy and annoying like your typical car salesman. I ended up purchasing a used car. The whole process from looking to buying was the best experience Ive had when buying a used car. I also cannot thank dave enough for making my experience even better. Big thumbs up to all of the staff, all very welcoming and friendly ! I wouldnt have a problem recommending them to anyone, if youre looking for another car Id suggest you go here before anywhere else.

We got a great deal here on a second hand car, got a few freebies thrown in as well but it took a fair bit of work to get it. They have a nice show room with complementary coffee, toilets are located inside the service department section. Servicing is done every 6 months and there is no need to remember it because they will remind you, and remind you, aaand remind you. All pestering aside, the servicing was quite quick (2 hours) and pricing was a little high but expected. I was going to give 4 stars but Ive reduced it to 3 because the mechanic that drove my car only 20m seemed it to be necessary to adjust my seat height, steering wheel height and pull all the wires out the back of my dashcam
