Hello Hello Books is first and foremost a great independent bookstore. How they manage to offer the incredible selection of books- new and used - they do in their small space is beyond me. But Hello Hello is more--they are real community members. If you live in the mid coast of Maine, likely you already know Lacey snd Jacob and how they, and the store, make this a better place to live. If you come to visit Maine, a visit to Hello Hello in Rockland could be a highlight of your visit. Dont miss it!
Great little bookstore, found a few gems here. A must go.
Everything you could ask for in your local bookstore. Amazing, passionate staff and a wonderful ever-changing selection. For me, theres no other bookstore in Rockland!
Small, mostly used bookstore in the back of Rock City coffee shop. Its amazing how often I find an interesting read in such a small store. Helpful staff will order new books for you. Casual, good browsing.
Cute shop, but the guy that works there isnt friendly. Good selection and decent titles.
A marvelous local bookstore packed with new novels and memoirs, cookbooks, and even an impressive array of journals! Remember: its behind Rock City Cafe! There are even some locals that havent been clued in to this cool destination.
Small but eclectic collection of books. They also offer a trade program where you can bring in older book that you dont read anymore for store credit. Also an attached cafe for a wonderful afternoon in!
Awesome small town book store - I shop here frequently. A mix of of new and vintage books, unusual magazines, and cool stuff. Extremely friendly and helpful owner and staff. Its located inside and at the rear of Rock City Cafe. Great hours!
This bookstore may be on the small side, but it is an excellent place to shop books. They always have a nice selection of current popular fiction. But in this space they also pack in sci-fi, art, childrens, poetry, travel, local interest, and more. Its impressive how much selection is represented here. The staff are helpful and friendly and enjoy talking about books with you.
I enjoyed the mood of this store and its products offered. Compact in a cozy way, with great selections in books and stationary, and very friendly staff.
Love this book store. New, used, cards, clever interesting gifts. Everything you didnt know you wanted in a bookstore. Here you go.
Such an amazing selection of books, both new and used! A great atmosphere with a great vibe. A+
Hello Hello is a fairly small shop in terms overall space, but the selection makes it the one place youll usually find the new book youre looking for. Unlike most of the local stores, it doesnt cater to tourists with a dulled selection of summer reading for those who dont want to think - it is a bookstore with a mission. While it has a large selection of used books, I spend a lot of time at the front new tables, which are stacked with BLM, feminist, environmentalist, lgbtqiaa+, pro-legalization, and liberal nonfiction materials as well as a good mix of big 5 and indie press authors.Yes, this is a progressive bookshop and we like it that way. Really, my only complaint is that they dont have more new stuff on the shelves. Oh, and I would like them to have feminist magazines so I dont have to drive an hour to Augusta anymore.
Awesomely curated selection. Small but very packed, well worth the trip from out of town.
Delish coffee, super amazing staff
Eclectic, friendly, great coffee. Definitely will stop in again.
Buy local! This place is great!
